Abstract

Integrated Quality Management (Total Quality Management) in the context of education is a methodological philosophy of continuous improvement, which can provide a set of practical tools to any educational institution in meeting the needs, wants and expectations of customers, present and future. TQM is a management system that elevates quality as a business strategy oriented to customer satisfaction by involving all members of the organization. Total Quality Management is an approach in running a business that tries to maximize organizational competitiveness through continuous improvement of products, services, people, labor, processes, and the environment. In essence, the goal of educational institutions is to create and maintain customer satisfaction and in TQM customer satisfaction is determined by the educational institution's stakeholders, because only by understanding the process and customer satisfaction can the organization realize and value quality. All efforts and management in TQM must be directed at a main goal, namely customer satisfaction. What management does is useless if it does not create customer satisfaction. Therefore, in schools the quality of integrated quality will depend on: continuous improvement, gradual improvement, cultural changes, maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues as customers, internal marketing, professionalism and customer focus and the quality of meaningful learning. that educational institutions must take seriously the issues of learning styles and needs.

Abstract

Currently, generations have been grouped into various generation groups according to the year of birth, if sorted from the earliest birth year, there is such a thing as the Baby Boomer Generation, Generation X or Baby Bust, Millennial Generation or Generation Y and the latest is Generation Z. Generation Z. Millennials and Generation Z are the generations that dominate today, because almost both generations live in an era where all use technology. The rapid development of today's era is one of the duties of parents to accompany their children so as not to fall into something wrong. However, the current situation is in line with what is feared. All children are so connected and controlled by the internet that they cannot filter which ones are suitable or not to be consumed. This is due to the negligence of parents in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Even most parents do not know what is the main responsibility as parents to their children, even though it is very clear that Allah SWT says in the Koran, the main way of life for a Muslim. For this reason, this research is expected to provide a wealth of knowledge to enlighten parents.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini merupakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua dan guru PAUD tentang tumbuh kembang dan perawatan kesehatan anak. Kegiatan dilakukan secara tatap muka pada Oktober 2021 di PAUD Anak Ceria Tangerang Selatan. Peserta yang hadir 16 orang. Pengetahuan peserta sebelum kegiatan 78,6% dan setelah kegiatan 82,5%. Pertanyaan yang masih banyak dijawab tidak tepat yaitu tentang kegiatan anak yang berulang akan membosankan dan anak yang mengalami gejala (misalnya demam) harus segera diberi obat (misalnya paracetamol). Diskusi dilaksanakan secara interaktif membahas pola komunikasi efektif dengan anak, perawatan kesehatan anak, dan aktivitas hariannya. Sepatutnya kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara periodik dan terstruktur untuk mendapatkan manfaat dan berdampak luas bagi peningkatan kesehatan anak.Kata Kunci: Anakusia dini, pendidikan, tumbuh kembang, kesehatan

Abstract

Every individual who reads the Qur'an closely relates to the rituals of Muslims. Included in the discussion are students in Islamic boarding schools (Pondok Pesantren). Over time, more relevant and exciting methods of reading the Qur'an emerged, including the Iqro method, the Tsaqifa method, and the Qira'ati method. However, not all students have good religious feelings and motivation to learn to read Al-Qoran, especially teenage students. The purpose of this study was to determine the religious feelings and motivations of Qiro'ati students at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasan Ciamis. This study used a qualitative approach using interviews with teachers and students at Al-Hasan Islamic Boarding School Ciamis. Data analysis was carried out by reducing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from the data obtained by the researcher. The results of this study are that the students of Al-Hasan Islamic Boarding School Ciamis have unstable religious feelings but have strong religious motivation because of the desire to satisfy curiosity and are influenced by groups of friends.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the perspective of prospective PAI teachers in shaping student development with BK teachers. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were students of Islamic Religious Education. The method of data collection in this research interviews. The results of the study found that as prospective teachers who have received Counseling Guidance courses in general, as prospective teachers of Islamic Religious Education, it is very important to always ask the students' progress to the Counseling Guidance teacher. It is very important for prospective Islamic Religious Education teachers to find out about the development of their students to the Guidance Counseling teacher because the Guidance Counseling teacher understands more deeply the behavior of a student. By knowing the development of students, an Islamic Religious Education teacher can find out how the character of the students he teaches, by knowing how the character of the students is, the teacher can more easily determine the right methods and strategies and are easily accessible to students. The partnership between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and Counseling Guidance (BK) teachers is one of the national education programs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh tim dari Jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ)  dan merupakan awal dari tujuan berdirinya sebuah lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini di daerah desa binaan Saung Jingga. Mitra ini kegiatan adalah Desa Saung Jingga yang terletak di Kecamatan Pamulang, Kota Tangerang Selatan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini ada dua, pertama untuk mengoptimalkan desa binaan melalui program pendidikan anak usia dini dan potensi anak-anak yang berada di desa binaan dan kedua untuk mengoptimalkan rencana pembukaan lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini  untuk anak-anak sekitar desa tersebut. Untuk mendukung pencapaian tersebut tujuan tersebut di atas, ada beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan serta rekomendasi yang diberikan kepada mitra yaitu (1) memberikan pengarahan terkaitnya pentingnya orang tua memberikan pendidikan anak-anak sejak dini (2) pengadaan program pendidikan anak usia dini dengan melalui pemberian pendidikan agama Islam (3) pengadaan majlis taklim buat para ibu yang melaksanakan pembelajaran di Saung Jingga Diharapkan pengabdian masyarakat ini keterlibatan dapat berkontribusi pada pencapaian harapan mitra, sehingga mengembangkan potensi anak-anak yang berada di desa binaan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan spiritual masyarakat desa binaan. Selain itu, juga sejalan dengan visi misi Prodi PAI Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta yaitu  melakukan penelitian dalam bidang PAI berbasis IPTEK yang temuannya digunakan untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan pembelajaran serta pengembangan keilmuan bidang PAI. Dan Melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berorientasi pada pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui penerapan IPTEK dalam bidang PAI. Program berikutnya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat harus diarahkan pada tahap implementasi serta optimalisasi kepada perangkat desa dan masyarakat selama ini proses implementasi.

Abstract

This article explains the role of Islamic religious education teachers, one of which is in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Quran. Another purpose of this research is to find out the role of Islamic education teachers as a portrait in the world of education, where teachers are able to play a role as a learning resource, especially in the problem of difficulty reading the Quran. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive type with case study method. The main data sources in this study are Islamic religious education teachers and students. While the secondary data sources are journals, e-books, printed books and so on that are directly related to this research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and document examination. The data validity check uses credibility by extending participation, increasing persistence in research and triangulation. The results of the research findings show that the role of Islamic religious education teachers as a learning resource in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Quran is that teachers master the material in depth, carry out learning strategies and methods, are able to answer student questions and have references to teaching materials

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sekarang dihadapi oleh anak-anak usia sekolah dasar adalah kurangnya minat baca, sehingga hal ini menjadi fokus para pengamat pendidikan, pendidik dan semua stakeholder yang berkiprah di dunia Pendidikan. Permasalahan ini ditemukan juga di Desa Kedaung Sawangan Depok. Anak-anak usia sekolah dasar di lingkungan ini mayoritas dari keluarga dengan perekonomian menengah ke bawah dengan minat baca rendah. Sosialisasi pemanfaatan buku bekas layak baca dilakukan guna menumbuhkan minat dan karakter gemar membaca pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan dua tahap, pertama sosialisasi di media social dan lingkungan mahasiswa terkait pentingnya buku bekas layak baca yang diakhiri dengan penggalangan donasi buku. Kedua, sosialisai kepada para orang tua agar memahami pentingnya membaca bagi anak-anak dan agar orang tua mampu memulai pembiasaan budaya membaca di rumah. Selain itu sarana prasarana pojok baca melauli program pengabdian masyarakat dengan bekerja sama dengan ketua RT disiapkan guna memfasilitasi anak-anak agar lebih familiar dengan buku.

Abstract

Saat ini praktik korupsi di kalangan mahasiswa sudah mulai mengakar dalam berbagai bidang. Aktivis mahasiswa ini bisa dikatakan sebagai bibit koruptor, bila perilakunya tidak mencerminkan perilaku antikorupsi. Hal ini akan berdampak pada kondisi mental generasi militan di masa depan kelak. Lemahnya pengawasan baik dari orang tua ataupun institusi pendidikan (kampus) menjadi salah satu faktor penyebabnya.  Metode pelaksanaan peningkatan pendidikan antikorupsi bertumpu pada prinsip membangun budaya antikorupsi adalah proses kolaboratif sehingga pelaksanaanya harus melibatkan aktivis mahasiswa sebagai agent of change. Tujuan kegiatan edukasi dan sosialisasi ini adalah meningkatkan  kesadaran dan tanggungjawab aktivis mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan hak dan kewajibannya sebagai generasi muda yang berperilaku antikorupsi. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Penyuluh Anti Korupsi KPK dan juga dari KOMPAK-UMJ (Komunitas Mahasiswa Penggiat Anti Korupsi-Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta) selaku komunitas yang ada di Kampus UMJ, diharapkan para mahasiswa tidak mau untuk berperilaku koruptif, walaupun ada kesempatan.

Abstract

Industrial revolution 4.0 has an impact, namely the demand for the labor market has changed, where the automation revolution replaces work that is usually capable of being done by humans and poses the risk of termination of employment. The purpose of this study is to identify the competencies that must be possessed by graduates based on aspects of organizational activity according to the needs of the industry. The data in this study are in the form of literacy studies, data from direct interviews with the industry and questionnaires to a number of respondents. Testing the validity of the questionnaire using the product moment correlation formula, followed by reliability testing using the Cronbach alpha. Meanwhile, to determine the sample size in this study using the purposive sampling technique with a total of 75 respondents consisting of practitioners and graduates of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (FT-UNJ), Indonesia. The research method is carried out with a qualitative descriptive method which is intended to obtain results that describe in detail the competencies that must be possessed by graduates based on aspects of organizational activity according to the needs of the industry. The results of the research related to the competence of graduates needed by industry 4.0 based on aspects of organizational activity, namely open minded, decision making abilities, emotional intelligence, cognitive flexibility, service orientation, coordinating with others, leadership skills, critical thinking and creativity skills, skills in technology, and complex problem solving.
