Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu strategi yang tepat dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran berbasis literasi digital dalam menghadapi era society 5.0. Fenomena yang ditemukan dari data hasil survei tahun 2019 oleh Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) yang dirilis Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), terdapat tingkat literasi masyarakat Indonesia tergolong sangat rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Kristen Kudus Pematang Siantar, Sumatera Utara, selama lebih kurang 2 bulan dengan menggunakan pendekatan survei, kepustakaan dan parsitipatif. Survei dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi terhadap pembelajaran di dalam kelas dan juga melakukan wawancara kepada kepala sekolah dan beberapa guru di unit SD, dan juga langsung berpartisipasi dalam memberikan arahan kepada peserta didik terkait pembelajaran literasi digital yang perlu dikembangkan dan juga menjadi tantangan ke depannya. Hasilnya, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa literasi digital merupakan salah satu dimensi keterampilan di abad 21 dalam menyikapi tuntutan pemerintah bagi dunia pendidikan dalam membentuk generasi milenial yang handal dan mampu menghadapi tantangan di era society 5.0

Abstract

Bawang putih mengandung senyawa alisin yang dapat berperan sebagai senyawa antibakteri, tetapi menyebabkan terbentuknya aroma bawang putih yang tajam dan tidak disukai oleh sebagian masyarakat. R. oryzae memiliki kemampuan untuk memecah senyawa γ-glutamyl cysteine yang merupakan bahan dasar dari senyawa aliin dan prekursor untuk terbentuknya senyawa alisin. L. bulgaricus dapat menghasilkan asam organik yang menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri patogen dan mengawetkan produk pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan proses fermentasi menggunakan R. oryzae dan L. bulgaricus dalam menghasilkan bawang putih yang dapat diterima oleh masyarakat dan meningkatkan kemampuan ekstrak bawang putih sebagai pengawet alami produk pangan. Proses fermentasi bawang putih dilakukan dengan dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu lama fermentasi selama 24, 48, 72 jam dan rasio R. oryzae:L. bulgaricus dengan perbandingan 1:0, 1:1, dan 0:1. Perlakuan terpilih untuk fermentasi bawang putih adalah selama 72 jam dengan rasio R. oryzae:L. bulgaricus 1:1. Bawang putih terfermentasi memiliki nilai pH sebesar 3,72±0,05, nilai TAT sebesar 0,53±0,01%, total bakteri asam laktat (BAL) sebesar 6,18±0,04 log10 CFU/ml, total kapang sebesar 8,21±0,09 log10 CFU/ml, TPC sebesar 8,33±0,22 log10 CFU/ml, nilai skoring sebesar 2,89±0,26, dan nilai hedonik sebesar 3,52±1,41. Ekstrak bawang putih terfermentasi akan diuji kemampuan sebagai pengawet pangan pada bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Escherichia coli dengan perlakuan konsentrasi 0, 2, 4, 8, dan 16%. Ekstrak bawang putih terfermentasi efektif sebagai pengawet pangan pada konsentrasi 16% dengan zona hambat S. aureus sebesar 14,00±0,71 mm dan E. coli sebesar 7,50±0,71 mm. Ekstrak bawang putih terfermentasi lebih efektif menghambat S. aureus dibandingkan dengan E. coli. Kandungan total fenolik dan flavonoid pada bawang putih yang sudah difermentasi sebesar 2,46±0,12 mgGAE/g dan 0,24±0,001 mgQE/g. Ekstrak bawang putih terfermentasi mengandung senyawa aktif 2,3-butanediol, L-lactic acid, diallyl disulfide, dan diallyl trisulfide yang dapat berperan sebagai senyawa antibakteri, antimikroba, antiinflamasi, dan antioksidan.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the learning motivation of class V students at UPTS PF SDN MACCINI II. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Eachc ycle is carried out for three meetings. The subjects of this research were class V UPT SPF SDN MACCINI II students, totaling 24 students consisting of 16 boysa nd 8 girls. Data collection methods used include observation, questionnaires andd ocumentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively,q uantitatively and qualitatively. Indicators of student success are characterized by student learning motivation which is said to increase if the average percentage is obtained at a minimum of 75% for each indicator. The results of this research indicate that the application of the problem based learning model to increase the learning motivation of class V students at UPT SPF SDN MACCINI II, namely that the average implementation of learning in cycle I was (63%) and was in the sufficient category and the implementation of learning in cycle II was (63%) (77%) and is in the good category. The average student learning activity in cycle I was (44%) in the medium category and student learning activity in cycle II was (77%) in the high category. There was an increase in learning motivation for class V UPT SPF SDN MACCINI II students after implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model. This is proven by the average student learning motivation score in cycle I is (50%) or in the sufficient category and the average student learning motivation score in cycle II is (80%) or in the very high category. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can increase the learning motivation of class V students at UPT SPF SDN MACCINI II

Abstract

Job satisfaction is one of the factors that influence the achievement of successful educational goals. This factor is an exciting and vital research object in human resource management, especially in vocational education. This study attempts to reveal job description and communication's simultaneous and partial influence on teacher job satisfaction. This study is critical because understanding the factors that influence job satisfaction can help formulate more effective and strategic management policies, ultimately improving the overall quality of education. A total of 33 teachers were involved as the population and sample in this study, and data were collected through a survey. A questionnaire was developed as a research instrument, and the hypothesis was tested using the t-test and F-test. Multiple linear regression was applied to analyze the collected data. This study found that job description and communication simultaneously influenced teacher job satisfaction. In other words, based on the coefficient of determination, job description and communication simultaneously influenced job satisfaction by 58.4%, partially the largest 52% by job description and 38.2% by communication variables. Follow-up to this research is suggested to explore other factors that may influence teacher job satisfaction and develop interventions that can improve job descriptions and communication in the context of vocational education.

Abstract

Innovation and technology have become important elements in the transformation of education in the digital era. Teachers, as key agents of change in education, play a crucial role in integrating technology and implementing innovative methods to enrich students' learning experiences. This research is important to identify the extent to which innovation and technology are able to support teachers' tasks in delivering material more interactively and efficiently. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 30 teachers at Sultan Agung Private Junior High School Pematangsiantar. The results of the study show that there is a significant positive influence between the application of innovation and technology on improving teacher performance. Innovations in teaching methods allow teachers to be more creative in delivering material, while the use of technology facilitates better interaction with students and facilitates classroom management. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of developing teachers' ability to innovate and use technology as a strategy to improve the quality of education. This research also provides implications for education policymakers to increase support for training programs and technology development in the school environment.

Abstract

Inovasi dalam pengelolaan sampah menjadi salah satu kunci utama dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan. Artikel ini mengkaji peran penting daur ulang sampah dalam mengurangi beban sampah yang terbuang, sekaligus mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Penekanan juga diberikan pada penerapan gaya hidup berkelanjutan yang meliputi pengurangan, penggunaan kembali, dan daur ulang (3R), serta bagaimana kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang efisien dapat meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan hidup. Inovasi teknologi dalam pengolahan sampah, seperti pemanfaatan sampah organik menjadi energi terbarukan dan pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi produk bernilai, turut menjadi solusi dalam mengurangi jumlah sampah yang mencemari alam. Melalui pendekatan kolaboratif antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan sektor swasta, diharapkan pengelolaan sampah dapat lebih efektif, mendukung pengurangan emisi karbon, dan menciptakan ekosistem yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Artikel ini juga menyoroti pentingnya edukasi dan sosialisasi untuk membangun budaya pengelolaan sampah yang bertanggung jawab, guna mencapai kota dan lingkungan yang bersih, sehat, serta berkelanjutan di masa depan.

Abstract

This research is considered important because it found a new understanding of the meaning of Taqorrub through 40 days of prayer by the mursyid of Sattariyah Surau Wadil Mu'minin Kab. Pariaman. The meaning of Taqorrub is generally understood in general, namely that all matters related to worship are part of Taqorrub, while the Surau mursyid relates it to the teachings of the congregation he leads.  The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of Taqorrub in the 40 day prayers of the Surau Wadil Mu'minin congregation. This research is field research using a qualitative approach, by explaining and providing a comprehensive description of the meaning of Taqarrub Ilallah through 40 days of prayer. The results of the research show that the meaning of the 40-day taqarrub ilallah prayer is a servant's sincere effort to serve God and obediently carry out all the rituals during the prayer, in order to achieve closeness to God. Another meaning is that prayer is a means of training to care for and maintain harmony with nature, like humans. This prayer is generally performed by the elderly, especially women who are menopausal, because one important condition for carrying out this prayer is that it must not be interrupted for up to 40 days.

Abstract

Abstrak Kehidupan dunia organisasi tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kemampuan dari pemimpin organisasi tersebut dalam membina organisasi dan juga kemampuan dari pegawai dalam menyeimbangkan antara kehidupan pribadinya dengan pekerjaannya, yang pastinya akan berdampak terhadap kinerja pegawainya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan strategis dan work life balance terhadap kinerja pegawai pada pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Samosir yang berjumlah 118 pegawai, hasil dari uji validitas ditemukan bahwa seluruh variabel memiliki kriteria valid dan untuk uji reliabilitas variabel penelitian memiliki kriteria handal. Untuk uji normalitas seluruh variabel memiliki distribusi normal dan untuk koefisien determinasi kemampuan dalam menjelaskan variabel penelitian besarnya 55% dan korelasinya dinyatakan kuat. Hasil uji hipotesa kepemimpinan strategis memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, demikian juga work life balance memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Ketika kepemimpin strategis dan work life balance dapat diterapkan dengan baik maka kinerja juga akan baik. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Strategis, Work Life Balance, Kinerja Pegawai Abstract The life of the organizational world cannot be separated from the ability of the leader of the organization in fostering the organization and also the ability of employees to balance their personal lives with their work, which will certainly have an impact on the performance of their employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of strategic leadership and work-life balance on employee performance in employees of the Samosir Regency Regional Secretariat which amounted to 118 employees, the results of the validity test found that all variables had valid criteria and for the reliability test the research variables had reliable criteria. For the normality test all variables have a normal distribution and for the coefficient of determination the ability to explain the research variable is 55% and the correlation is expressed strong. The results of the strategic leadership hypothesis test have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, as well as work-life balance has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. When strategic leadership and work-life balance can be applied properly, performance will also be good. Keywords: Strategic Leadership, Work-Life Balance, Employee Performance

Abstract

Introduction: An essential part of Indonesia's National Education Standards are the infrastructure and facilities for education. All formal and informal educational institutions are required to provide facilities that assist students' physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and psychological development, as stipulated in Article 45 of the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003. Objective: In order to create a school facilities and infrastructure management model that is focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this project will integrate the 5S Kaizen industrial work culture into vocational schools (SMK Negeri) in the Bireuen Regency. It also assesses how useful and successful the model is at streamlining school facility management. Method: The study used Plomp's model as part of its Research & Development (R&D) process, which consisted of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment. Principals, vice principals, heads of expertise programs, workshop leaders, administrative leaders, and effective teachers were among the participants. Validated by expert evaluations, implementation observations, response surveys, and competency tests, the research tools included a model book, an implementation manual, and a module guide. Results: The average validation scores for the generated model were 4.57 (model), 4.62 (implementation handbook), and 4.63 (module guide), indicating strong validity. Positive participant response rates in trials I and II were 85.91% and 86.31%, respectively, indicating that classical completeness was attained. The N-Gain analysis classified its effectiveness as moderate, showing competency gains of 61.75% and 62.21%. Conclusion: The model promotes ongoing advancement in vocational education by encouraging an organized, industry-based approach to SDG-aligned school facility management. For policymakers and school administrators working in vocational education settings, this study offers a novel paradigm for incorporating industrial methodologies—specifically, 5S Kaizen—into the administration of educational infrastructure.

Abstract

Introduction: School performance and instructional quality are directly impacted by the managerial competencies that principals must develop through effective training. In today's changing educational environment, strengths-based and resilience-building techniques are crucial, but they are frequently not integrated into traditional training paradigms. Together with Appreciative Inquiry (AI) and Grit, the ADDIE framework provides a thorough method for creating durable leadership skills that are in line with the objectives of global development. Objective: Using the ADDIE framework in conjunction with Appreciative Inquiry and Grit, this study attempts to create a training management model for school principals that is focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in order to enhance their managerial skills. Methods: Expert interviews, focus groups, and observations were used to gather qualitative data using a mixed-methods methodology in the context of research and development (R&D). N-Gain Score computations, paired-sample t-tests, and validity testing were used to assess quantitative data. The participants were purposefully chosen high school principals from the North Sumatra Region I Education Office. Results: With an Aiken's V of 0.90, the created SDGs training management model showed high validity. With an N-Gain Score of 0.73, which is considered strong, the model clearly enhanced managerial competencies. While the Grit component improved resilience and tenacity in handling managerial obstacles, the Appreciative Inquiry component promoted strengths-based leadership. Results indicate that combining ADDIE with AI and Grit results in a versatile and successful training approach that fosters long-term leadership growth. By focusing on resilience and positive capabilities, this method differs from traditional problem-focused training and meets the demands of modern educational leadership. The model's versatility and potential for digitization further increase its suitability for use in a range of educational settings. Conclusions: An inventive SDGs-focused training management strategy for school principals that incorporates ADDIE, Appreciative Inquiry, and Grit was successfully created and validated by the study. By encouraging strengths and resilience, this model successfully improves managerial competences and provides insightful advice for legislators and educational institutions looking to improve principal leadership.
