Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a Project Based Learning model assisted by the Massive Open Online Course. The research design uses Research and Development. The results of the feasibility study of PjBL-MOOCs products include: a) design of 93.75%, b) manuals of 95.13%, c) pictures and charts / charts of manuals of 92.31, d) material of 85%, e ) picture quality in material is 77.1%, f) video is 90.4%, g) test instrument is 90.4%, and h) field trial results is 72%. So that PjBL-MOOCs are feasible to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The digital technology-based heutagogy learning model characterizes the progress of implementing vocational education in a nation. This study aims to develop a heutagogy learning model for vocational students through mapping its components. The method in this study uses descriptive qualitative. Research subjects include university lecturers, vocational high school teachers, and industrial employees. The research location is focused on East Java. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire and documentation. The heutagogy component for vocational students includes critical thinking, collaboration skills, communication skills, and creativity. Mapping the four components supporting the application of the heutagogy learning model needs to be done to improve the quality of vocational students in the digital era

Abstract

The design of machine construction is one of the subjects that often becomes a stumbling block for students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program to graduate on time. Many factors cause it, including the weakness of students using STEM content in designing machine construction and the lack of contextual learning strategies for STEM-loaded courses with machine construction design tasks. This qualitative study aims to (1) identify the STEM content of the Scientific and Expertise Subject group, (2) describe the pattern of integrating STEM content in the formal and instructional curriculum, and (3) describe the learning pattern of the STEM content course. Research data were collected through document analysis, semi-open questionnaires, and FGD. The results showed (1) identified 15 scientific and skill courses containing STEM content that supported the work on machine construction design tasks, (2) integration of STEM-loaded courses in the formal curriculum was carried out by structuring their presentation before or at the same time as the presentation of the Mechanical Construction Design Course, being in the instructional curriculum is carried out by integrating learning experiences related to the design of machine construction in Lecture Event Unit, and (3) the learning pattern of courses containing STEM content should be carried out using a problem-based learning model where the problems are directly related to and or taken from machine construction design tasks.

Abstract

Celah busi diperlukan untuk membuat busi dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Mesin bensin memerlukan busi untuk membakar campuran bahan bakar dan udara. Bahan bakar mengalir dari karburator menuju ruang bakar karena hisapan piston. Jumlah bahan bakar yang mengalir ini disebut dengan aliran bahan bakar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengtetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh celah busi terhadap aliran bahan bakar. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan celah busi terhadap aliran bahan bakar. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil penelitian, seperti temperature mesin, stabilitas RPM, dan konfigurasi karburator.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan kualitas produk olahan makanan pada UMKM Restu Putra di Desa Bendoagung melalui penerapan teknologi Square Heater Oven Bersensor Panas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan, dan demonstrasi, dengan peserta sebanyak 25 orang, termasuk pemilik dan karyawan UMKM serta perwakilan warga setempat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan utama, yaitu diseminasi, pelatihan penggunaan mesin, dan pendampingan pemeliharaan mesin, yang berlangsung dari April hingga Juli 2025. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi yang diterapkan berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi, kualitas roti dan kue, serta pemahaman peserta tentang cara menggunakan dan merawat mesin. Evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam kemampuan pengoperasian mesin dan pemeliharaan, yang berkontribusi pada kelancaran dan keberlanjutan usaha. Kesimpulannya, penerapan teknologi Square Heater Oven Bersensor Panas berhasil memperkuat kapasitas dan kualitas produksi UMKM, sekaligus meningkatkan keterampilan teknis peserta, yang pada gilirannya memperbaiki daya saing usaha di pasar lokal.

Abstract

Practical learning in vocational education serves as a key driving factor in supporting the achievement of core competencies for prospective graduates of automotive education programs to meet the competency demands of the automotive industry labor market. Particularly in the era of artificial intelligence, industrial demands have shifted towards high-level digital technology literacy. Therefore, practical learning tools such as jobsheets need to be developed in digital formats. This study aims to develop an interactive e-jobsheet based on ePub integrated with QR codes, designed for effective use in automotive air conditioning (AC) practicum learning for students. The research is categorized as Research and Development (RD), employing the ADDIE model stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of expert validation tests showed that the average media expert assessment of the ejobsheet was 96%, indicating it is highly feasible, while the average assessment from subject matter experts was 98%, also highly feasible. Furthermore, evaluation results revealed positive student responses, with an average assessment of the e-jobsheet content at 97% (highly feasible) and an average perception rating of the e-jobsheet media at 98% (highly feasible). Thus, it can be concluded that the ePub-based e-jobsheet integrated with QR codes is highly recommended as a teaching material to support practicum learning in automotive workshops and is relevant to the needs of the automotive industry, especially in fulfilling graduate competencies in the era of Industry 4.0. This e-jobsheet also demonstrates superiority in supporting self-directed digital learning compared to conventional jobsheets.

Abstract

Many students do not demonstrate optimal mastery because EFI mate-rial is considered complex and abstract, while conventional learning using engine stands has limited accessibility outside school hours. This innovation is designed to create an immersive learning experience fo-cused on reinforcing foundational knowledge regarding the identifica-tion of components, functions, and the operational flow of the EFI sys-tem. The study employs a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design of the Non-equivalent Control Group Design type. The research sample consisted of 80 students in the 11th grade of Light Vehicle Engineering, divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, then ana-lysed using ANOVA with a significance level of α=0.05. The results of the study indicate that the use of AREFI media has a significant posi-tive impact on student learning outcomes. There was an increase in the average score from 44.73 in the pre-test to 70.92 in the post-test. The ANOVA test results showed an F value of 90.217 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), proving that the difference in learning out-comes between the two groups was caused by the use of the AREFI media. Therefore, it can be concluded that the AREFI learning media has proven to be effective as an innovative solution for visualizing abstract EFI concepts, enhancing interaction, and facilitating deep un-derstanding among vocational high school students.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali anggota Karang Taruna RT 04 RW 02 Kelurahan Tlogowaru dengan keterampilan praktis mengenai periodical service sepeda motor, yang esensial untuk keselamatan dan perawatan kendaraan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop di bengkel SMK Negeri 10 Malang, menggunakan metode penyampaian teori, diskusi interaktif, serta demonstrasi dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi melalui observasi kinerja dan survei kepuasan menunjukkan hasil yang sangat positif. Sebanyak 70% peserta berhasil melakukan praktik sesuai Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) dan tingkat kepuasan peserta tergolong dalam kategori "Sangat Baik". Meskipun menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan alat dan waktu, kegiatan ini berhasil diatasi dengan manajemen sesi yang efisien. Kesimpulannya, workshop ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi peserta dan dapat direkomendasikan sebagai model kegiatan edukatif untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya perawatan sepeda motor secara berkala.
