Abstract

One of patient-centered-cared domaind can be done by listen to the patients voices about the servicesprovided and motivate patients to actively involved in the treatment process. Patient involvement methods:patient feedback and Speak-up education are methods that can be applied in hospitals. This study aims toimplement the development of patient imvolvement methods:patient feedback and Speak-up education. Themethod used was a pilot study of 57 nurses using observation sheets of the patient feedback process andSpeak-up consisting of 17 items. The study begin with problem identification, fishbone analysis,implementation and evaluation. Implementation consisted of making guides, SPO, forms, and role-playvideos. The results of the study showed that the patient feedback method and Speak-up were performed withan achievement of 69.42%. Conclusion: the success of the patient involvement process was influenced bythe willingness of the organization and staff to listen to the patients voice, readiness to change, supportiveresources, and support of nurses, nurse managers and management. Recommendation: this study is thebasis for the application of new methods of involving patients in the hospital

Abstract

Introduction: Therapeutic communication is one of the factors that contribute to patient satisfaction, which is a measure of the quality of the services provided by the health care provider. The objective of the investigation is to determine whether there is a disparity in patient satisfaction regarding the therapeutic communication of nurses among the nursing facilities of Classes I, II, and III at RSUD Subang. Methods: This quantitative investigation employs a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique employed is stratified sampling, with a total sample of 86 respondents involved in the sample collection. The research instrument uses a patient satisfaction questionnaire with 7 questions that require the nurses to fill in directly in the paper to assess the therapeutic communication of nurses. Results: Based on data collected by RSUD Subang's official Instagram page, @rsudsubang, the Community Satisfaction Index during the 2023 period was 83.8%. The bivariate analysis showed a p-value of 0.094, which is higher than 0.05. Subsequently, the statistical test of p > 0.05 (p-value 0.094) proves that there are no gaps in patient contentment among the hospital rooms of classes I, II, and III at RSUD Subang. Conclusions: The research is anticipated to generate data that can be employed as guidance and evaluation tools for hospitals, particularly in class I, II, and III nursing rooms, to enhance therapeutic communication in health services for patients in those classes.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO), mengungkapkan kehamilan merupakan keadaan dimana seorang wanita mengandung janin di dalam rahimnya. Kehamilan normal berlangsung selama 40 minggu, 10 bulan atau 9 bulan, gangguan kehamilan sering terjadi pada masa itu diantaranya adalah preeklamsia. Kondisi ini menyebabkan tekanan darah meningkat dan terdapat protein di dalam urinnya. Pengetahuan dan status gizi ibu hamil dapat mempengaruhi kesiapan ibu hamil dalam menangani preeklamsia pada masa kehamilannya. Preeklampsia atau eklampsia adalah penyebab kematian ibu langsung nomor dua setelah perdarahan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan dan status gizi ibu hamil terhadap kejadian preeklamsia di uptd puskesmas sukarahayu. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain korelasi, sampel dalam penelitian ini 50 responden dan teknik sampling menggunakan accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan dan lembar observasi, analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi logistik. Hasil analisis didapatkan data variabel pengetahuan dengan p value sebesar 0,432 dan variabel status gizi dengan p value 0,503 dimana kedua hasil tersebut > 0,05 yang artinya hipotesis ditolak. Kesimpulannya Hasil data yang diuji menggunkan uji regresi logistik bahwa pada kedua variabel yang diuji menunjukkan hasil tidak ada hubungan pengetahuan dan status gizi yang signifikan terhadap kejadian preeklamsia di poli KIA UPTD Puskesmas Sukarahayu. Disarankan kepada responden yang masih memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang preeklamsia agar dapat menambah dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dengan aktif mengikuti penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan petugas kesehatan
