Abstract

Porang tuber (Amorphophallus oncophyllus Prain) contains carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals, vitamins, and dietary fiber which are thought to be alternative growth media. This study aims to determine the growth of alternative media for microorganisms with Porang tubers. This research was conducted in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratory, at Sari Mutiara University, Indonesia. Samples of Porang tubers were obtained from Porang plantations in the Amplas area, North Sumatra. This study uses an experimental method. Characterization of Porang tuber powder was found 9.54% water content, 9.09% water soluble extract content, and 1.43 total ash content.to contain%Secondary metabolites contained in Porang tuber starch were alkaloids and carbohydrates. The process of making starch begins with soaking with NaCl to remove the sap on the Porang tubers. Furthermore, the grating process is carried out until a precipitate of Porang tuber starch is found which will then be dried into Porang tuber starch. The manufacture of starch media respectively used a concentration of 5% (F1); 7.5% (F2) and 10% (F3). Then added agar, NaCl, and milk. Furthermore, microbiological tests were carried out using Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans with the pour method. The comparison used is Nutrient agar and Potato dextrose agar. Furthermore, observations of the growth of these microorganisms were carried out. The results of the test Porang tuber starch showed yeast and bacteria growth media. The result of colony growth was found that the most colonies were found in formula 3 with Candida albicans as many as 297 colonies. The number of Staphylococcus aureus was found to be in formula 2 with 251 colonies, and for Escherichia coli, the most colonies were found in formula 3 with 143 colonies. Conclusion From the results of the study, it was found that Porang tubers can be used as growth media, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) Untuk membuktikan efektifitas metode bermain terhadap perkembangan sosial dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional. pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri 1 Pembina Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 17 orang anak yang terdiri dari 6 anak laki-laki dan 11 anak perempuan. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelompok B di Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri pembina 1 Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi (untuk melihat perkembangan sosial), dan video, foto, dan scenario proses pelaksaanaan. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif kriteria keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini apabila keterampilan bermain anak telah mencapai 70% dengan kreteria baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektifitas Metode Bermain terhadap Perkembangan Sosial Anak menggunakan permainan Tradisional pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Negeri 1 Pembina Medan. Hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada saat penelitian deskriptif kualitatif pertama 1 berjumlah 23% berada pada kriteria kurang baik. Pada deskriptif kualitatif 2 meningkat mencapai 75%, sehingga keterampilan terhadap perkembangan sosial anak rata-rata berada pada kriteria baik.

Abstract

This research was conducted to increase interest in learning in children aged 5-6 years through the medium of animated learning film at the pembina 1 kindergarten in medan. Subjects in this were children aged 5-6 years who were in group B totaling 16 children. This research is a classroom action research with a quantitative descrptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it shows that there has been an increase in children interest in learning through learning as animated film media in gruop B at the Pembina 1 Kindergarten in Medan. This is proven by the pre-cycle result of 27,25%, then in the first cycle it was 41,6% and increased to 87,75% in the second cycle. So it can be conculed that the activity of watching animated learning film media can increase children interest in learning in the pembina state kindergarten 1 Medan.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the influence of using animated interactive media on students' learning interest in the material I and my needs for class IV UPT SD N 066652 Medan Helvetia. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at UPT SD Negeri 066652, totaling 46 students. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample. The experimental class consisted of 23 students and the control class consisted of 23 students. The data collection techniques used in this research were questionnaires and documentation. From the results of data analysis, the average post-questionnaire score in the experimental class was 61.48, while the average score in the control class was 52.57. The results of the independent sample test using post-questionnaire data in the experimental and control classes showed a sig (2 tailed) value of 0.005 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. So it can be concluded that animated interactive media has an influence on students' interest in learning science subjects in my material and my needs for class IV UPT SD Negeri 066652 students.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar yang baik pada Pembelajaran IPAS dengan materi ekosistem dibutuhkan upaya untuk mengembangkan potensi visual dan kemampuan berpikir secara simbolis melalui objek konkret terhadap pembaharuan pada media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang disinyalir mampu merangsang imajinasi peserta didik dalam memahami pelajaran adalah media pembelajaran Pop Up Book. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penerapan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book terhadap hasil belajar IPAS pada materi ekosistem di kelas V SD Negeri 105349 Paluh Kemiri, Kecamatan Lubuk Pakam, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Metode: Teknik Pengumpulan Data dilakukan dengan cara test melalui pretest dan postest. Selain itu, wawancatra dan dokumentasi yang berguna dalam menyempurnakan data. Data yang ada dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan skala likert. Hasil: Penggunaan media Pop Up Book pada peserta didik melalui pretest dan posttest untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,43. Selain itu, melalui perbedaan rata-rata hasil pretest dan postest, yaitu nilai kelompok control yang tidak menggunakan media popup book sebesar 57,00. Sedangkan, kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran mencapai nilai rata-rata 73,18. Kesimpulan: Media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book dinyatakan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi ekosistem, pelajaran IPAS kelas lima SD Negeri 105349 Paluh Kemiri.
