Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji Politik Simbolik dan Kekuasaan: Perebutan Kalompoang dan Intervensi Inggris Di Sulawesi Selatan 1812–1816, dengan tujuan memahami pola kolonialisme adaptif yang terbentuk melalui interaksi politik dan simbolik antara kekuatan kolonial dan elite lokal. Pendekatan historis-politik digunakan untuk menganalisis sumber arsip kolonial Inggris-Belanda serta naskah lontarak yang merekam konflik dan diplomasi antar-kerajaan. Metode analisis historis dan tematik diterapkan untuk mengidentifikasi struktur kekuasaan, strategi kolonial, serta makna simbolik Kalompoang sebagai sumber legitimasi politik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuasaan Inggris bersifat oportunistik, memanfaatkan konflik lokal dan simbol adat untuk memperkuat pengaruhnya, namun gagal menciptakan stabilitas karena lemahnya pemahaman terhadap sistem sosial dan spiritual masyarakat Bugis-Makassar. Intervensi kolonial mempercepat transformasi ekonomi menuju perdagangan bebas, tetapi juga memicu fragmentasi sosial dan resistensi simbolik. Kesimpulannya, kekuasaan Inggris di Sulawesi Selatan merupakan bentuk kolonialisme negosiasional yang mencerminkan keseimbangan antara dominasi dan adaptasi. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya analisis simbol dan budaya politik lokal dalam memahami dinamika kolonialisme di Indonesia Timur serta membuka ruang bagi kajian lanjutan tentang diplomasi adat dan ekonomi kolonial di wilayah maritim Nusantara.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Burnout remains a prevalent challenge among female employees managing both professional and caregiving roles. Addressing this issue, the present study examined the impact of task management training on reducing burnout symptoms. Using a one-group pretest–posttest design, nine participants attended four online training sessions of 90 minutes each, focusing on time management, task prioritization, and the use of digital tools. Burnout was measured using the adapted Maslach Burnout Inventory–General Survey (MBI-GS). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, revealing a significant decrease in overall burnout (p = 0.007, r = 0.79), particularly in the personal accomplishment dimension. These findings suggest that structured task management training can enhance employees’ sense of control and achievement. However, the small sample size and absence of a control group limit generalizability. The results highlight the potential of task management interventions as a supportive approach to mitigating burnout among women balancing multiple roles. Untuk menjawab isu tersebut, penelitian ini menguji pengaruh pelatihan manajemen tugas terhadap penurunan gejala burnout. Penelitian menggunakan desain one-group pretest–posttest, dengan sembilan partisipan yang mengikuti empat sesi pelatihan daring berdurasi 90 menit, berfokus pada manajemen waktu, penetapan prioritas, dan penggunaan alat digital. Tingkat burnout diukur menggunakan adaptasi Maslach Burnout Inventory–General Survey (MBI-GS). Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed-rank menunjukkan penurunan signifikan pada tingkat burnout keseluruhan (p = .007, r = .79), khususnya pada dimensi pencapaian pribadi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan manajemen tugas terstruktur dapat meningkatkan rasa kontrol dan pencapaian individu. Namun, ukuran sampel yang kecil dan ketiadaan kelompok kontrol membatasi generalisasi hasil. Hasil penelitian ini menyoroti potensi intervensi manajemen tugas sebagai pendekatan pendukung untuk mengurangi burnout pada perempuan yang menyeimbangkan berbagai peran. Abstract

The study seeks to determine the political and diplomatic network of Nuruddin Zanki in the Middle East through a historical/historiographic review. Adopting a historical approach, the study was divided into several methods, including heuristic, critical, and historiography. The findings of this study conclude that Nuruddin Zanki was a prominent Islamic figure who consistently fought in the Second Crusade, as indicated by his success in reclaiming Islamic territory from the hands of the Christians, including the cities of Artah and Harene and other regions. He was also a leader who succeeded in unifying and strengthening Islamic power in the Middle East, particularly in facing the Second Crusade. He strategically administered political and military networks, including unifying Muslim territory, securing borders, and forging alliances with other Islamic forces. Furthermore, he was renowned for his just, firm, and wise characters which were able to inspire his people to fight as one. His Islamic diplomatic initiatives were successful in uniting Muslims and strengthening their resilience, allowing them to withstand the invasion of the crusaders and pave the way for Salahuddin Ayyubi in supporting Jerusalem. Nuruddin Zanki’s Islamic diplomacy was successful in uniting Muslims and strengthening them so that they were able to battle the attacks of the crusaders and paved the way for Salahudin Ayyubi to assist Jerusalem. His focus was not only on battle but also on investing in infrastructure as well as the economic and military development of his region.
