Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged the world of education, especially vocational education. This quantitative study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership on the innovative behavior of lecturers in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic mediated by the psychological climate. Collecting data used a questionnaire distributed through google form. Respondents involved in the study were 132 lecturers in the health sector. The data was processed using the structural equation modeling partial least square (SEM PLS). The results show that transformational leadership has a positive effect on the psychological climate, psychological climate has a positive effect on innovative behavior and mediates the effect of transformational leadership on lecturers' innovative behavior. The psychological climate created in universities or colleges, in terms of leader support, role clarity, contribution, recognition, self-expression and challenges experienced by lecturers greatly affect the functioning of transformational leadership in promoting innovative behavior of lecturers.

Abstract

Indonesian tourism, especially in the Greater Jakarta area, is not only famous for buildings, monuments, but with high diversity, Jabodetabek offers delicious culinary tours that serve special foods from all corners of the archipelago. To be able to face stiff competition in the business world, from the point of view of the current food and beverage provider organization leaders need to innovate in their work to produce employees who are satisfied with their work, so the purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of LMX on Job Satisfaction mediated by Innovative work behavior by using The quantitative method is a questionnaire via google form with a total of 249 respondents. Sample is 249 respondents. The analytical method used is SEM - AMOS 24. The results showed that LMX had a significant positive effect on IWB and Job Satisfaction , while IWB has no effect on Job Satisfaction and also IWB cannot mediate the effect of LMX on Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

The objectives of this research was analyzed the effect of transactional leadership on work stress , the effect of transactional leadership on employee negative behavior, the effect transformational leadership on work stress, the effect of transformational leadership on employee negative behavior, and the effect of positively work stress on employee negative behavior. This research also analyzed the impact of transformational and transactional leadership on employee negative behaviour through work stress. The population of this study consist of two hundred employees PT. X Jakarta as the respondents provided the data that were analyzed for this study. Using the sub-set of the sampling consisting of was used to test five hypothesized relationship in the model. Data analysis in this research was used Structural Equation Model (SEM) to test independent variables influence the dependent variable. The result of this research conclude that there is positive impact from transactional leadership on work stress and negative impact from transformational leadership on work stress. The result of the study also revealed that theres in and positive indirect impact from transactional leadership on employee negative behaviour through work stress and negative indirect impact from transformational leadership on employee negative behaviour through work stress.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the moderating role of organizational culture on the effect of paternalistic leadership on employee work engagement in the Eastern part of Indonesia. A simple random sampling technique was used. Using an online questionnaire via Google Forms, data was collected from 169 respondents which consisted of staff to manager level at 14 hotels in the Eastern part of Indonesia. This study used structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze the relationship. The result reveals that in Eastern Part of Indonesia, paternalistic leadership does not affect on employee work engagement. Likewise, the moderating role of organizational culture does not completely have a positive effect on paternalistic leadership and work engagement. The results of this research indicate that theoretically, the PL style can only be applied in organizations that focus more on administrative or management. This research only focuses on hotel business organizations in the Eastern part of Indonesia and does not involve other business units. In addition, this study only uses quantitative methods with online questionnaires. Further research should involve many hotels throughout The Eastern part of Indonesia, including the more comprehensive business unit. It is also necessary to use the interview method to ensure the quality of the research results.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 membawa dampak pada semua sendi kehidupan, salah satu yang terdampak parah  adalah sektor perekonomian dan industri. Demi menjaga produktifitas ditengah pandemi COVID-19 dan bertahan memenangkan karena persaingan yang ketat ditengah ketidaktentuan, perusahaan tertantang untuk mencapai kinerja optimal.Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk menganalisis Efektifitas E-Training terhadap Organizational Performance yang ditinjau juga melalui Employee Motivation dan Employee Job Satisfation. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan jumlah responden sebesar 284 karyawan PT Jakarta International Hotels & Development.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa e-training merupakan faktor yang terbukti dapat meningkatkan job satisfaction dan employee motivation. Penggunaan e-training dalam proses pengembangan karyawan perlu untuk terus dilakukan. Hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan informasi data yang dapat dianalisis oleh perusahaan untuk  mencari tahu hal-hal yang merupakan kebutuhan dan keinginan dari karyawan dan berupaya memenuhi kebutuhan karyawan, seperti gaji yang layak, bonus sesuai kinerja dan juga dukungan lainnya sehingga kepuasan dari karyawan akan terus meningkat. Motivasi karyawan juga merupakan faktor penting yang perlu ditingkatkan karena terbukti bahwa motivasi merupakan faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Perusahaan perlu untuk terus meningkatkan motivasi karyawan dengan cara memberikan dukungan yang baik dan juga terus menciptakan kepuasan kerja yang lebih baik. Kata kunci: E-training, employee motivation, employee satisfaction, organizational performance, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM)

Abstract

The dynamism of the current work environment, especially for ASN Bandung Regency, makes the government need employees who provide quality and timely services as a form of satisfaction and community expectations. For that, leaders must understand the most suitable leadership style to be applied by government employees. The leadership style for employees who work from home (WFA) is expected to increase work engagement through work-life balance in the organization. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with 500 respondents from Bandung Regency ASN employees. The purpose of this study was to analyze the work-life balance mediating the effect of transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and servant leadership on the work engagement of Bandung Regency Government employees. The population of this research is the government employees of Bandung Regency . The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Findings: The leadership styles in the organization owned by the head of ASN in Bandung Regency to increase work engagement through work-life balance are transactional leadership and servant leadership. Originality/values: In one study, analyzing work-life balance mediates the effects of transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and servant leadership on work engagement.

Abstract

Learning Sundanese script which is packaged in the SARASA (A Day with Sundanese Literacy) Program is an effort made to improve the character education profile of Pancasila students, namely independent, creative and globally diverse. Apart from that, after conducting research, this activity also aims to introduce and preserve Sundanese script to students, especially elementary school students, as well as increasing students' love of regional culture, especially Sundanese culture at SD Negeri Depok Baru 3. The SARASA program is packed with activities that are interesting, fun, pro-student and foster student agency in students. Apart from learning Sundanese script, students are also introduced to traditional West Javanese songs and games.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat diadakan dalam rangka upaya peningkatan kualitas pengelolaan homestay di Kawasan Desa Cipanas, Cianjur, Jawa Barat, pentingnya para pemilik dan pengelola Homestay untuk menyadari pentingnya kualitas layanan yang diberikan kepada pelanggan. Hal ini berfungsi untuk menunjang perkembangan sektor pariwisata yang berkelanjutan yang menjadi agenda dunia. Pelatihan keterampilan bagi para pemilik dan pengelola dan homestay di daerah Cipanas ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, manajemen, serta keterampilan teknis dalam pengelolaan homestay. Metode yang dilakukan pada pelatihan ini yaitu Dosen dan Mahasiswa Politeknik Jakarta International Program Studi Pengelolaan Perhotelan memberikan sosialisasi pentingnya menciptakan kualitas dalam Pelayanan homestay, Kebersihan kamar, Kerapian kamar, Keramah Tamahan, Keamanan dan Pemasaran Homestay. Berdasarkan hasil survey yang dilakukan maka disimpulkan bahwa peserta sangat puas dengan pelatihan yang dilakukan dan materi yang disampaikan. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pelatihan keterampilan pengelolaan homestay dalam meningkatkan kapasitas pengelola homestay dan dampaknya terhadap kepuasan wisatawan serta keberlanjutan usaha homestay yang ada di Desa Cipanas, Cianjur, Jawa Barat.

Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada inisiatif Dosen dan Mahasiswa Politeknik Jakarta Internasional untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Cipanas yang bertujuan untuk menerapkan praktik pengelolaan berkelanjutan (sustainability)bagi pemilik dan pengelola homestay. Tujuannya meliputi peningkatan kesadaran dan kemampuan para pengelola dan pemilik homestay di Desa Cipanas dalam optimalisasi kegiatan Green Practices Homestay dalam penerapan pendekatan kolaboratif, serta mendorong sustainability sosial jangka panjang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan melibatkan masyarakat Desa Cipanas khususnya para pemilik dan pengelola Homestay terhadap kegiatan yang akan dikembangkan oleh Palace Hotel Cipanas untuk Green Practices. Kegiatan yang ditawarkan salah satunya adalah pengelolaan sampah dan produk ramah lingkungan. Hasil observasi menunjukkan masyarakat Desa Cipanas merasa antusias untuk melakukan penerapan kegiatan Green Practices yang akan di support oleh tim dari Palace Hotel Cipanas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan masyarakat yang terarah mampu membuat perubahan dan dapat mendorong Desa Cipanas untuk mencapai tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs) jangka panjang.

Abstract

The research aims to test and analyze the factors that influence Hotel Employee performance among 3 star hotel employees in Jakarta The unit of analysis is 322 individual employees who work for employees from 10 3-star hotels in Jakarta. Cross-sectional and one-shot data collection was carried out through structured questionnaires distributed via Google Form and also directly. Asymmetric causal research design using quantitative methods. The proposed model includes 123 hypotheses and is tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The majority of respondents were women aged 20-24 years, with contract employee status, staff positions, working period of less than 5 years with a high school/vocational school/equivalent education level. The results of the test found that Ambidextrous Leadership, Ambidextrous Organizational Culture and Organizational Ambidexterity had a positive influence on Hotel performance while Organizational Ambidexterity had a positive influence from Ambidextrous Leadership and Ambidextrous Organizational Culture The research results can help deepen understanding of the complexity of the relationship between HR Flexibility, ambidextrous, amdixterous leadership and High Performance Work Leadership System on Hotel Employee Performance through organizational Ambidexterity.
