Abstract

High distribution costs pose a significant challenge for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), such as Dietgo Kitchen in Bandung, which inefficiently relies on third-party online delivery services to distribute ingredients to its seven branches. This point-to-point logistics issue increases total operational costs and erodes profit margins. To address this, an intervention in the form of Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) Implementation Training and Mentoring was conducted for the company's distribution team, aimed at utilizing the company's unoptimized food trucks for autonomous delivery. The training focused on mastering the VRP heuristic methods, namely Nearest Neighbor and Nearest Insertion, to determine optimal delivery routes from the central warehouse to all outlets. This mentoring included actual field data acquisition, route simulations, and structured delivery management training. Evaluation results showed a significant positive impact, with a 43.71% reduction in delivery costs compared to the average of the previous three months. While employee adaptation to the new VRP system and methods is still required, this implementation demonstrates that VRP is an effective strategic instrument for achieving delivery route efficiency and reducing routine operational costs for SMEs.

Abstract

Renewable energy microgrids integrated with smart control systems are emerging as a sustainable solution for electrifying rural industrial zones, offering substantial improvements in energy efficiency and reductions in carbon emissions. This study explores the implementation of hybrid renewable energy systems, combining solar and wind energy, and the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) sensors to optimize energy consumption in real-time. The findings highlight that the combination of solar and wind energy in microgrids leads to up to a 30% increase in energy efficiency, with a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions, reaching up to 50% compared to traditional grid systems. IoT sensors play a crucial role in load forecasting, optimization, and system stability, enabling real-time monitoring and proactive adjustments to energy distribution. Additionally, the implementation of these systems in rural industrial zones not only provides reliable, clean energy but also reduces reliance on fossil fuels, making them economically viable and environmentally sustainable. However, challenges such as high initial investment costs, integration complexities, and the need for skilled technicians remain. Despite these barriers, the long-term benefits of reduced energy costs, improved energy security, and lower carbon footprints make renewable energy microgrids a promising solution. The study suggests that these systems can be scaled to other rural regions facing similar challenges in energy access and carbon emissions, offering a path to sustainable development. Further research is recommended to explore alternative renewable energy combinations and advancements in IoT applications to improve system scalability and efficiency.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) Kopi XYZ menghadapi tantangan utama dalam bidang pemasaran, yaitu belum optimalnya saluran pemasaran digital dan rendahnya brand exposure. Permasalahan ini berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi melalui program business coaching intensif. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif (reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan) yang didahului dengan pengumpulan data primer (in-depth interview, observasi, dan survei konsumen) serta data sekunder (studi literatur). Hasil analisis dan survei menunjukkan bahwa Instagram dan Google menjadi media utama pencarian kedai kopi oleh target konsumen (usia 21-30 tahun), sementara 80,8% responden belum mengetahui Kopi XYZ. Implementasi coaching difokuskan pada optimalisasi saluran pemasaran (Instagram dan website) dan strategi peningkatan exposure melalui digital marketing (Instagram dan Search Engine Advertising). Pencapaian implementasi telah mencapai 80-90%. Melalui program ini, Kopi XYZ diharapkan mampu mengoptimalkan saluran pemasarannya, meningkatkan brand awareness, dan pada akhirnya, meningkatkan penjualan.

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat Desa Karyalaksana, Kecamatan Ibun, Kabupaten Bandung dalam menghadapi tantangan pembangunan berbasis potensi lokal menuju desa wisata yang mandiri dan berkelanjutan. Program ini mengintegrasikan empat bidang utama, yaitu teknologi informasi, pendidikan, ekonomi syariah, dan ketahanan pangan. Melalui bidang teknologi informasi, masyarakat diperkenalkan pada pemanfaatan digitalisasi untuk promosi wisata dan pengelolaan usaha mikro. Bidang pendidikan difokuskan pada peningkatan literasi dan kreativitas warga dalam mengembangkan potensi desa. Ekonomi syariah diarahkan pada penguatan ekonomi berbasis prinsip halal dan keadilan, guna mendukung kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat secara beretika dan berkelanjutan. Sementara itu, bidang ketahanan pangan menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya pertanian lokal secara efisien dan ramah lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan meningkatnya pemahaman dan antusiasme masyarakat terhadap inovasi desa wisata berbasis kearifan lokal dan teknologi modern. Abstract

Penentuan konsentrasi studi mahasiswa baru yang tidak tepat dapat berdampak pada rendahnya motivasi belajar dan meningkatnya risiko perpindahan konsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan memprediksi minat konsentrasi studi mahasiswa baru menggunakan algoritma Naive Bayes. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) yang meliputi pemilihan data, pra-pemrosesan, pembentukan dataset, serta pelatihan dan pengujian model. Data yang digunakan berupa riwayat akademik dan hasil survei preferensi mahasiswa baru tahun akademik 2024/2025 yang telah dianonimkan. Dataset dibagi menjadi 80% data latih dan 20% data uji. Evaluasi model dilakukan menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan akurasi sebesar 89% dengan nilai presisi dan recall di atas 85%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Naive Bayes efektif digunakan sebagai alat bantu rekomendasi konsentrasi studi mahasiswa baru.

Abstract

Lecturer research management in higher education institutions often faces complex administrative challenges that are time-consuming and prone to documentation errors. These problems include difficulties in tracking proposal status, inconsistent progress reporting, and lack of transparency in the review process. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a throwaway prototyping-based development approach in building a lecturer research management information system that is usable, efficient, and capable of improving administrative productivity. The system is designed to simplify research administration activities, such as proposal submission, reviewer assignment, progress reporting, and integrated research output tracking. The study employs a mixed method design that combines quantitative approaches through usability and time efficiency measurements, as well as qualitative approaches through in-depth interviews. The development process applies a throwaway prototyping cycle through stages: (1) initial requirements identification through stakeholder analysis, (2) rapid prototype creation for concept validation, (3) iterative evaluation and validation with end users, (4) prototype disposal and final system implementation based on feedback. This approach was chosen to accelerate requirements elicitation, validate interface flows before full development, and minimize rework before final implementation. The system was implemented as a web application using PHP (Laravel) and a relational database. Usability evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS), complemented by task-based efficiency measurements and brief interviews with end users. The research results show an SUS score of 85.5, indicating excellent usability and high user acceptance. Task completion time for core administrative activities decreased by 35% compared to manual processes. Qualitative feedback shows improved status transparency, reduced administrative burden, and more consistent documentation. Overall, these findings demonstrate that the prototyping model is effective for developing research management systems in higher education, particularly when user feedback is integrated from the outset and conducted iteratively. This study provides empirical contributions by demonstrating that the application of a throwaway prototyping model with early user involvement can produce a lecturer research management system with excellent usability and significant improvements in administrative work efficiency. These findings enrich the body of knowledge in academic information system development by integrating a system development model, usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS), and task-based efficiency measurement within a comprehensive evaluation framework.

Abstract

Abstrask - Transformasi digital menuntut mahasiswa memiliki literasi digital yang tidak hanya mencakup kemampuan teknis, tetapi juga kesadaran etika dan keamanan digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan tingkat literasi digital mahasiswa serta mengidentifikasi karakteristik klaster menggunakan algoritma K-Means. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap mahasiswa, berdasarkan empat dimensi literasi digital, yaitu digital skills, digital culture, digital ethics, dan digital safety. Hasil analisis K-Means menunjukkan terbentuknya dua klaster utama, yaitu klaster literasi digital matang (Cluster 1) dan klaster literasi digital belum matang (Cluster 2). Cluster 1 memiliki nilai rata-rata literasi digital sebesar 4,57, sedangkan Cluster 2 sebesar 3,88. Dimensi dengan perbedaan paling signifikan antar klaster adalah digital safety (selisih 0,77) dan digital ethics (selisih 0,72). Analisis karakteristik responden menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa angkatan aktif (2022–2024) lebih banyak berada pada Cluster 1 (hingga 67%), dibandingkan mahasiswa baru (2025) dan mahasiswa over study (2021) yang didominasi Cluster 2. Selain itu, mahasiswa luar Jawa Barat memiliki proporsi literasi digital matang yang lebih tinggi (64%) dibandingkan mahasiswa asal Jawa Barat (51%). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa literasi digital mahasiswa bersifat dinamis dan kontekstual, sehingga penguatan literasi digital di perguruan tinggi perlu difokuskan pada aspek etika dan keamanan digital secara berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: literasi digital; mahasiswa; K-Means clustering; digital ethics; digital safety; Abstract - Digital transformation demands that students possess digital literacy encompassing not only technical skills but also ethical awareness and digital security. This study aims to map the level of digital literacy of students and identify cluster characteristics using the K-Means algorithm. The study employed a quantitative approach with a student survey method, based on four dimensions of digital literacy: digital skills, digital culture, digital ethics, and digital safety. The results of the K-Means analysis indicate the formation of two main clusters: a mature digital literacy cluster (Cluster 1) and an immature digital literacy cluster (Cluster 2). Cluster 1 has an average digital literacy score of 4.57, while Cluster 2 has an average digital literacy score of 3.88. The dimensions with the most significant differences between clusters are digital safety (difference 0.77) and digital ethics (difference 0.72). An analysis of respondent characteristics shows that active students (2022–2024) are predominantly in Cluster 1 (up to 67%), compared to new students (2025) and overstudy students (2021), who are predominantly in Cluster 2. Furthermore, students from outside West Java have a higher proportion of mature digital literacy (64%) than students from West Java (51%). This finding confirms that student digital literacy is dynamic and contextual, thus strengthening digital literacy in higher education requires a continuous focus on digital ethics and security.Keywords: digital literacy; students; K-Means clustering; digital ethics; digital safety;

Abstract

Abstrak - Permasalahan akumulasi sampah di wilayah perkotaan seringkali disebabkan oleh kendala logistik dan minimnya akses masyarakat terhadap fasilitas daur ulang. Konsep Smart Environment menawarkan solusi melalui integrasi teknologi untuk efisiensi pengelolaan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangun web-app "Saku Sampah", sebuah platform layanan penjemputan sampah anorganik berbasis reward, guna menjembatani kesenjangan antara rumah tangga dan industri daur ulang. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Rapid Prototyping, yang memungkinkan iterasi desain yang cepat berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan melalui validasi pasar, perancangan antarmuka, dan evaluasi fitur. Berdasarkan survei terhadap 19 responden (Gen Z), ditemukan bahwa 63,2% responden memiliki kesadaran lingkungan yang tinggi namun kesulitan mengakses tempat penyaluran sampah (skor kesulitan 3,8/5). Validasi solusi menunjukkan tingkat ketertarikan yang tinggi (skor 4,3/5) terhadap layanan berbasis web ini, terutama pada fitur insentif poin dan fleksibilitas jadwal penjemputan. Hasil perancangan prototype menghasilkan antarmuka sistem yang mencakup fitur pemesanan penjemputan, daftar harga sampah real-time, dan dasbor dampak lingkungan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Rapid Prototyping efektif dalam memvalidasi fitur kunci "Saku Sampah" sebagai solusi akselerasi lingkungan cerdas yang partisipatif.Kata kunci : Smart Environment; Rapid Prototyping; Pengelolaan Sampah; Web-App; Saku Sampah; Abstract - The problem of waste accumulation in urban areas is often caused by logistical constraints and lack of public access to recycling facilities. The Smart Environment concept offers a solution through the integration of technology for environmental management efficiency. This study aims to design the "Saku Sampah" web-app, a reward-based inorganic waste collection service platform, to bridge the gap between households and the recycling industry. The system development method used is Rapid Prototyping, which allows for rapid design iteration based on user feedback. Research stages include needs analysis through market validation, interface design, and feature evaluation. Based on a survey of 19 respondents (Gen Z), it was found that 63.2% of respondents had high environmental awareness but had difficulty accessing waste distribution points (difficulty score 3.8/5). Solution validation showed a high level of interest (score 4.3/5) in this web-based service, especially in the point incentive feature and pickup schedule flexibility. The prototype design results produced a system interface that includes pickup booking features, real-time waste price lists, and environmental impact dashboards. Abstract

Abstrak - Jumlah kegagalan proyek sistem informasi yang tinggi, baik di tingkat internasional maupun nasional di Indonesia, menjadi masalah besar bagi efisiensi operasional perusahaan. Seringkali, hal-hal seperti ini menyebabkan kerugian finansial yang besar, pemborosan investasi, dan kerusakan reputasi perusahaan. Dengan menyelidiki setiap tahapan pengembangan sistem informasi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor utama yang menyebabkan proyek sistem informasi gagal. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode penelitian sistematis yang melibatkan pengumpulan data utama dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah. Untuk melakukan analisis, faktor-faktor penting yang menyebabkan kegagalan diidentifikasi dan diklasifikasikan berdasarkan perspektif Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap yang paling rentan terhadap kegagalan adalah fase analisis kebutuhan, di mana faktor tujuan yang tidak jelas dan batasan ruang lingkup yang buruk memiliki kemungkinan tertinggi terjadi kegagalan. Dibandingkan dengan hambatan teknis murni, faktor non-teknis terutama masalah manajemen dan kegagalan komunikasi antar pemangku kepentingan lebih mendominasi kegagalan secara kategoris. Penyajian peta risiko yang menyeluruh pada setiap tahap pengembangan sistem adalah kebaruan penelitian ini. Untuk mencegah kegagalan sistematis di masa depan, studi ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan manajemen risiko sejak dini dan keterlibatan aktif pengguna.Kata kunci : kegagalan proyek; sistem informasi; studi literatur; software development life cycle; Abstract - The high number of information system project failures, both internationally and nationally in Indonesia, poses a significant challenge to companies' operational efficiency. These failures often lead to significant financial losses, wasted investment, and damage to a company's reputation. By investigating each stage of information system development, this study aims to analyze and identify the key factors that contribute to information system project failure. This study utilizes a systematic research method involving primary data collection from various scientific journals. To conduct the analysis, key factors contributing to failure were identified and classified based on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) perspective. The results indicate that the most vulnerable stage to failure is the requirements analysis phase, where unclear objectives and poor scope delimitation have the highest probability of failure. Compared with purely technical obstacles, non-technical factors, particularly management issues and communication failures between stakeholders, categorically dominate failures. The presentation of a comprehensive risk map at each stage of system development is a novelty of this study. To prevent future systematic failures, this study emphasizes the importance of improving early risk management and active user involvement.Keywords: project failure; information systems; literature review; software development life cycle;

Abstract

Abstrak - Unified Modeling Language (UML) merupakan bahasa pemodelan visual yang umum digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem informasi berorientasi objek sebagai acuan analisis dan perancangan sebelum implementasi kode. Namun, dalam praktik pengembangan sistem, sering ditemukan ketidaksesuaian antara diagram UML yang disusun dengan implementasi pemrograman berorientasi objek (Object-Oriented Programming/OOP) yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat keselarasan antara diagram UML dan implementasi OOP pada sebuah sistem informasi di lingkungan akademik, serta mengidentifikasi bentuk dan faktor penyebab ketidaksesuaian yang terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi studi dokumentasi terhadap diagram UML, analisis kode sumber, serta wawancara dengan pengembang dan dosen yang terlibat dalam proyek. Analisis dilakukan melalui pemetaan elemen UML terhadap struktur dan perilaku kode, yang mencakup analisis keselarasan struktur dan perilaku sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keselarasan relatif tinggi pada kelas utama dan alur proses inti sistem, namun menurun pada detail teknis seperti atribut tambahan, metode pendukung, relasi antar kelas, serta perilaku dinamis yang lebih kompleks pada implementasi kode. Ketidaksesuaian tersebut umumnya disebabkan oleh perubahan kebutuhan selama implementasi, keterbatasan waktu, serta tidak adanya mekanisme pembaruan UML yang sistematis. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan strategi pengendalian konsistensi dan penguatan konsep traceability antara model dan kode agar UML tetap berfungsi sebagai dokumentasi yang relevan dan berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan sistem informasi berorientasi objek.Kata kunci: UML; Pemrograman Berorientasi Objek; Keselarasan Model; Sistem Informasi; Traceability; Abstract - Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a visual modeling language widely used in object-oriented information system development as a reference for analysis and design prior to code implementation. However, in practice, inconsistencies are often found between the designed UML diagrams and the resulting Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) implementation. This study aims to analyze the level of alignment between UML diagrams and OOP implementation in an academic information system, as well as to identify the forms and factors causing such inconsistencies. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. Data were collected through documentation studies of UML diagrams, source code analysis, and interviews with developers and lecturers involved in the system development process. The analysis was conducted by mapping UML elements to code structures and behaviors, including structural and behavioral alignment analysis. The results indicate that the level of alignment is relatively high for core system classes and main process flows, but lower for technical details such as additional attributes, supporting methods, class relationships, and more complex dynamic behaviors in the code implementation. These inconsistencies are primarily caused by requirement changes during implementation, time constraints, and the absence of systematic UML updates. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing consistency control strategies and strengthening model–code traceability to ensure UML remains a relevant and sustainable documentation artifact in object-oriented information system development.Keywords: UML; Object-Oriented Programming; Model Alignment; Information Systems; Traceability;
