Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran literasi kelas awal dilaksanakan di SDN No.73 Bontorita I Kecamatan Galesong Kabupaten Takalar di Kecamatan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta tentang macam-macam media literasi untuk kelas awal dan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada peserta untuk mengembangkan media literasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan di kelas awal. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode in house training dan workshop. Adapun yang menjadi sasaran dalam pelatihan adalah guru-guru kelas awal yang ada di SDN No. 73 Bontorita I, SDN No. 74 Bontorita II, dan SDN No. 191 Inpres Paku. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan. Tahap persiapan mempersiapkan bahan dan alat, tahap pelaksanaan membuat alat media literasi Big Book, presentasi dan demonstrasi baik secara mandiri maupun berkelompok. Dalam pelatihan, mahasiswa akan dibantu mulai dari merancang pembuatan media sampai cara penggunaanya. Evaluasi dari kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan nantinya adalah simulasi media  literasi Big Book. Media literasi Big Book memiliki karakteristik khusus, seperti penuh dengan warna-warni, gambar yang menarik. Media literasi Big Book merupakan cerita bergambar yang berisi materi yang disajikan secara naratif dan deskriptif yang berfungsi membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep yang rumit serta mampu mengoptimalkan otak untuk mengingat materi pelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini telah berjalan efektif, hasil pengamatan selama pelatihan berlangsung nampak bahwa, sekitar 85% peserta pelatihan memperlihatkan keseriusan dan antusias mengikuti selama pelatihan berlangsung. Hal tersebut terlihat bahwa peserta pelatihan sudah memahami pembuatan media literasi walaupun dengan cara yang sederhana. Kemudian peserta pelatiahan sudah memahami bagaimana memilih bahan atau materi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media literasi yang sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan sekolah

Abstract

This research is a correlational quantitative research that aims to determine the relationship between the use of instructional media and the interest in learning mathematics for fourth graders of SD Gugus II, Kecamatan Sibulue, Kabupaten Bone. The data in this study were collected by questionnaire and processed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the use of instructional media and the interest in learning mathematics for fourth graders of SD Cluster II with rcount (0.584) greater than rtable (0.212), which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of learning media in the teaching and learning process has an impact on student responses so that it will affect students' interest in learning, especially mathematics. So, the better the use of learning media it will increase student interest in learning. The impact of this research is that the use of learning media that is carried out appropriately according to the characteristics of the media, needs, and learning objectives can increase interest in learning mathematics so that students will obtain good learning outcomes and achieve learning success.

Abstract

Kampus mengajar Angkatan 6 merupakan salah satu bentuk pelaksanaan MBKM berupa asistensi mengajar untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa dalam membantu proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar (SD) berbagai desa/kota di Indonesia. Kegiatan Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 6 mencangkup pembelajaran di semua mata pelajaran yang berfokus literasi dan numerasi, adaptasi teknologi, dan bantuan administrasi sekolah. SD 55 BARRU, Kabupaten Barru merupakan salah satu sekolah penempatan dalam kegiatan Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 6. Melalui kegiatan Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 6 ini, mahasiswa membantu sekolah melaksanakan Proses Pembelajaran yang berfokus pada literasi dan numerasi, adaptasi teknologi dan juga pengelolaan perpustakaan. Telah dilakukan kegiatan Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 6 di UPTD SD Negeri 55 BARRU Kecematan Tanete Rilau Kabupaten Barru. Kegiatan tersebut dimulai tanggal 14 Agustus 2023- 5 Desember 2023. Kegiatan ini di selenggarakan oleh kemendikbud melalui Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka. Latar belakang dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu siswa Sekolah Dasar yang berada di daerah 3T dalam meningkatkan minat Literasi dan numerasi siswa, adaptasi teknologi dan pengelolaan perpustakaan. . Melalui laporan akhir ini, mahasiswa menjelaskan secara rinci mengenai kegiatan pada program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 6 yang telah dilaksanakan di UPTD SD Negeri 55 BARRU.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan agar 1) Guru memahami pentingnya kompetensi pedagogik, 2) Guru dapat memahami paradigma baru kuirkulum merdeka; 3) Guru mengembangkan perangkat atau modul ajar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah Peserta pelatihan diberikan materi mengenai kompetensi pedagogik, IKM dan pengembangan perangkat/modul ajar, Peserta pelatihan didampingi tim pengabdi mengkaji paradigma baru kurikulum merdeka, Tim pengabdi memberikan materi tentang hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kuriklum merdeka, Peserta melakukan kegiatan praktek menelaah perangkat/modul ajar dan Melakukan kegiatan praktik penyusunan perangkat/modul ajar. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan Pelatihan ini adalah Peserta sudah memahami tentang pentingnya kompetensi pedagogik bagi guru, Peserta sudah memahami paradigma kurikulu merdeka dan peserta sudah mampu melakukan kegiatan pengembangan perangkat/ modu ajar.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the effectiveness of integrating the PBL model with the CORE model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of prospective elementary school teachers. Pre-experimental research with One-Group Pretest Posttest Design to achieve research objectives. The population in this study were all PGSD students at Makassar State University consisting of 3 classes. The experimental units were taken using cluster random sampling, from 3 selected classes, namely BC.212 as the experimental class consisting of 30 people. The data collection techniques used were learning outcomes tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Student activity and response data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, while student mathematics learning outcomes data used inferential statistical analysis. The results of the research show that the integration of the PBL model with the CORE model is effectively applied in mathematics learning, Geometry and Learning material in terms of: 1) the average score of mathematics learning outcomes in the aspect of students' Problem Solving Ability in the posttest is greater than 75 (KKM), namely 83, 4 of the ideal scores of 100 are in the High category. The normalized gain obtained is 0.73, which is in the High classification; 2) the average student activity score of 3.56 is in the very active category; 4) the average percentage of student responses was 85.45% in the positive category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the think talk write learning model on the descriptive essay writing skills of class IV UPT SD Inpres Karunrung Makassar City students. The type of research used is quantitative research using Quasi Experiment. This research uses Nonequivalent Control Group Design which involves two research groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class is the class that receives treatment, while the control class is the class that does not receive treatment. Determining the sample in this study used purposive sampling, so that 18 students were obtained from class IVA as the experimental class and 18 students from class IVB as the control class. The data collection tool used is a written test by paying attention to the assessment aspects. The data analysis technique used is the independent sample t-test to test whether there is a significant difference between the two variances. Based on the results of data analysis using the Independent Sample t-test, with a pre-test value of 0.162 and a post-test of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from implementing the think talk write model on students' writing skills.

Abstract

Abstract: Thematic learning with a scientific approach is being implemented in elementary schools. This approach highlights integrated and comprehensive learning on specific topics or themes, using the scientific method as the foundation for learning. This study aims to analyze teachers' perceptions of thematic learning with a scientific approach in elementary schools. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method, with teachers from upper-grade classes, specifically grades 4, 5, and 6, in 10 clusters of Mariorawa District Gugus 26 Primary Schools in Soppeng Regency as the subjects. The data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires based on the topic. The results indicate that teachers' knowledge, thinking abilities, and emotional responses fall into the 'very good' category. However, the aspect of teachers' experience falls into the 'good' category. Therefore, this research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective policies and learning programs and to improve student learning outcomes. Abstrak: Pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan saintifik merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan ini menitik beratkan pada pembelajaran yang terpadu dan komprehensif pada suatu topik atau tema tertentu, dengan menggunakan metode saintifik sebagai landasan pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi guru terhadap pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan saintifik di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu guru pada kelas tingkat tinggi yaitu kelas 4, 5, dan 6 pada 10 kelompok Sekolah Dasar Gugus 26 Kecamatan Mariorawa Kabupaten Soppeng. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner sesuai topik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aspek pengetahuan, kemampuan berpikir, dan perasaan guru berkategori sangat baik. Namun, aspek pengalaman guru berkategori baik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam membuat kebijakan dan program pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Role Playing learning method to improve students' understanding of Pancasila values. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research were fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Malengkeri Bertingkat 1 Kota Makassar. The research findings show that the application of the Role Playing learning method in Pancasila education subjects can increase students' understanding of Pancasila values. This is indicated by the increase in student activity during the learning process and the improvement of their understanding as seen from the results of the final evaluation

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin banyaknya anak usia dini yang mengalami hambatan dalam berbahasa seperti rendahnya kemampuan anak dalam menyampaikan apa yang dirasa dan dilihatnya kepada orang di sekitarnya. Kemampuan anak dalam menyampaikan apa yang dirasa dan dilihat melalui kalimat sederhana yang bermakna disebut sebagai kemampuan bahasa ekspresif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian sebelumnya didapat bahwa terdapat penurunan kemampuan berbahasa ekspresif anak yang disebabkan kurangnya stimulus serta media pembelajaran yang monoton sehingga kurang menarik minat anak dalam proses pembelajaran, maka diperlukan media pembelajaran yang dapat menarik minat anak untuk dapat mencapai perkembangan bahasa ekspresif yang optimal salah satunya adalah buku cerita bergambar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media buku cerita bergambar dalam pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif anak, penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur berdasarkan sumber 11 artikel yang telah dipublikasi. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dibaca dan ditelaah dengan menggunakan teknik penelitian yang bersifat pembahasan yang lebih mendalam terhadap isi sebuah data serta informasi tertulis atau tercetak di media massa. Teknik penelitian tersebut disebut sebagai teknik analisis isi. Teknik penelitian dilakukan melalui proses memilih, membandingkan dan menggabungkan serta memilah berbagai pengertian sehingga menemukan suatu kesimpulan yang relevan. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskripsi. Hasil penelitian tentang penerapan media buku cerita bergambar kemampuan bahasa ekspresif  anak meningkat.   This research is motivated by the increasing number of young children who experience language barriers, such as difficulties in conveying what they feel and see to those around them. The ability of children to express their feelings and perceptions through simple and meaningful sentences is referred to as expressive language ability. Based on the analysis of previous research, it was found that there has been a decline in children’s expressive language abilities, caused by a lack of stimulation and monotonous learning media that reduce children’s interest in the learning process. Therefore, the development of expressive language requires engaging learning media, such as picture storybooks. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of picture storybooks in learning to improve children’s expressive language abilities. This study uses a literature review method based on 11 published articles. The collected data were examined and reviewed using content analysis techniques, involving a more in-depth discussion of data content and written or printed information from various sources. This process included selecting, comparing, synthesizing, and organizing various concepts to draw relevant conclusions. The findings show that the use of picture storybooks can effectively improve children’s expressive language abilities.
