Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' linguistic errors when learning insya muwajjah. This research is a case study of students from the Arabic Education Study Program at IAIN Curup using a qualitative approach. The primary data source comes from 11 fourth-semester students and Insya Muwajjah, the subject lecturer. Meanwhile, secondary data comes from student essays in the Insya Muwajjah subject. Apart from that, it also uses books and articles from scientific journals. Data collection instruments are interviews, surveys, and documentation. Data analysis methods include condensation, display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The research results show that students' linguistic errors in Insya Muwajjah learning include four errors. First, phonetics, namely, students cannot differentiate between letters that have similar sounds. Second, morphological, namely, students do not understand word changes. Third, syntax, namely, students' lack of grammar understanding, so there are still many errors in the final lines of words. Fourth, semantics: many students still use inappropriate words in sentences.

Abstract

The study entitled Implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model in Presenting Persuasive Text in Written Material in Class VIII MTs Pancasila Bengkulu City aims to describe the implementation of the PjBL model applied by teachers in accordance with the RPP. The subjects of this study were Indonesian language teachers in class VIII at MTs Pancasila Bengkulu City. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The results of the study showed that the implementation of project-based learning had run according to the stages. The stages of determining basic questions, designing product planning, arranging project schedules, and testing project results were carried out well. However, the stage of monitoring project development has not run optimally. Knowledge evaluation also still needs to be improved. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of this model is the limited school facilities. However, the enthusiasm of students is quite high, so that the implementation of the PjBL model continues to run effectively. In conclusion, the implementation of the Project Based Learning model in learning persuasive text in class VIII MTs Pancasila has run well according to the stages of the model and the learning plan that has been designed by the teacher.

Abstract

This study discusses the inner conflict of the main character in the novel Rumah Untuk Alie by Lenn Liu. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of inner conflict experienced by the main character, and to analyze the factors that cause the emergence of the conflict based on the theory of basic human needs. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a literature study technique. The data sources in this study are quotations in the novel that describe the mental condition of the main character, while the data is analyzed based on the theory of inner conflict from Muis and Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The results of the study show that the character Alie experiences various forms of inner conflict that are manifested in the emotions of depression, anxiety, anger, and frustration. These conflicts are rooted in the unfulfilled basic needs in her life, especially the need for security, belonging and love, and the need for self-esteem. The mistreatment of her father and four siblings after the death of her mother was the main factor that triggered the destruction of Alie's psychological condition. This pressure caused Alie to lose her emotional shelter, feel alienated in the midst of her own family, and question the value of her existence in the world. This research is expected to provide a deeper understanding of how the inner dynamics of a character in a literary work represent human psychological reality, while enriching the study of literary psychology.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) model through the snakes and ladders game media in learning to write personal letters to class VII students of SMP Plus Ja-alhaq, Bengkulu City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were teachers and class VII students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the PJBL model through the snakes and ladders game media can increase students' motivation, activeness, and writing skills. The snakes and ladders media that are designed interactively and attractively make the learning process more enjoyable, foster creativity, and strengthen cooperation between students. The obstacles faced such as time constraints and student adaptation to new media can be overcome with good time management and teacher direction. In conclusion, the implementation of PJBL assisted by the snakes and ladders game media is effective in improving the ability to write personal letters to class VII students of SMP Plus Ja-alhaq, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to discuss the lexical and cultural meaning of naming villages in Teluk Segara District, Bengkulu City, Bengkulu Province, which includes 5 of the 13 existing Villages. This research categorizes them based on naming system aspects, (1) embodiment aspects, (2) social aspects, (3) cultural aspects. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The data source was obtained from the Traditional Chair of Pondok Besi Subdistrict and the Traditional Chair of Berkas Subdistrict. The data obtained was in the form of interview data in Teluk Segara District. The results of this research reveal that the toponymy of the names of sub-districts in Teluk Segara District, Bengkulu City consists of various categories, including water elements, community social interactions, flora, tangible elements, folklore, nature, settlement patterns, activities, landforms, and building.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the character traits and character education values in the novel Ravendra: Pernikahan Rahasia Siswa SMA by Winsari. The background of the study is based on the importance of literature as a reflection of social reality as well as an educational medium. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a content analysis method, with objects in the form of relevant narrative excerpts and dialogues. Character analysis refers to M.H. Abrams' theory, while character education values refer to Thomas Lickona's theory. The results show that the author has succeeded in building character consistently, including dynamic characters (Ravendra, Kiara), static characters (Mama Elis, Syelin, Ken), and antagonists (Alena, Keisya). This novel also contains three dimensions of Lickona's character education, namely moral knowledge, moral feelings, and moral actions, which are reflected in the character's behavior such as empathy, responsibility, and integrity. Based on these findings, the novel Ravendra is suitable for use as a literary literacy teaching material in schools to instill character values in students. The recommendation of this study is the need for further studies on other Indonesian youth literature to enrich contextual character learning resources.

Abstract

Oral traditions constitute an important element of intangible cultural heritage, serving as a medium of cultural transmission, identity formation, and moral education, yet many of these traditions remain underexplored in academic scholarship. This study aimed to analyze the forms and meanings of the Sekujang oral tradition practiced by the Serawai community in Selingsingan and Simpang Villages, North Seluma District, Bengkulu Province. A qualitative descriptive design was employed, using documentation, observation, and in-depth interviews with cultural practitioners and community elders as data collection techniques. The collected pantun texts were transcribed, coded, and thematically analyzed to identify structural features and cultural values embedded in the tradition. The findings revealed that Sekujang is performed through pantun recitations that encompass themes of gratitude, respect, and communal harmony, while also functioning as a vehicle for intergenerational knowledge transfer and social cohesion. The analysis further demonstrated that Sekujang reflects the Serawai people’s worldview and ethical norms, particularly concerning respect for nature, kinship, and spirituality. The novelty of this research lies in its systematic documentation and interpretive analysis of Sekujang, a tradition that has received limited scholarly attention compared to other Indonesian oral performances. These results imply that Sekujang should be integrated into cultural preservation programs and educational initiatives to strengthen cultural identity, promote local wisdom, and support heritage policies at the regional and national levels.

Abstract

Moral decadence does not only hit government officials, but also teenagers who will become the successors of the nation's struggle. In handling morals or morals it takes a long time that is sustainable and is istiqomah in guiding students. One effort that can be made to change a person's character is through the application of riyadhah which is used as a center for changing bad behavior to be directed into good behavior. As applied in the Pancasila Islamic Boarding School, namely dhikr and fasting. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the application of riyadhah activities in shaping the morals of students and what are the obstacles in the application of riyadhah activities. This study aims to describe the application of riyadhah activities in shaping the morals of students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, as the primary data are the administrators and students of the Pancasila Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu City and the secondary data are the results of interviews, literature, books, and other literature. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results of the research from observations and interviews that the application of riyadhah activities in shaping the morals of students through riyadhah dhikr and fasting activities have been applied properly and in accordance with applicable rules.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual siswa di SMPN 35 Berasrama Kaur dan untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam meningkatan kecerdasan spiritual siswa di SMPN 35 Berasrama Kaur. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat diskriptif. Waktu dan tempat penelitian ini yaitu bertempat di desa Gedung Sako II Kec. Kaur Tengah Kab. Kaur yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 23 Juli S/D 6 Seftember. Data dan sumber data yaitu data primer dan data sekunder, Tekhnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tekhnik Keabsahan data pada penelitian ini yaitu mengunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi tekhnik. Tekhnik analisis data yaitu menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Adapun Hasil dari penelitian yaitu menyimpulka bahwa strategi dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap siswa di SMPN 35 Berasrama Kaur yaitu, 1. Mengutamakan adab dari pada ilmu (fauqul i’lim) artinya adab lebih diutamakan dari pada ilmu 2. Menjadi teladan (uswatun hasanah) yaitu memberikan contoh yang baik dari segala aspek 3. Pembiasaan, dengan adanya pembiasaan maka akan terbentuk dalam dirinya zaukiyah atau perasaan atau iman yang kuat yang terpancar dihatinya, 4. Nasehat, nasehat yang dilakukan baik secara berkelompok seperti kegiatan kuliah subuh ataupun secara individu. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap siswa yaitu, 1. Faktor pendukung a). Lingkungan, lingkungan yang kondusif dapat memberi ketenangan bagi siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar b). Adanya program-program keagamaan yang terstruktur yang mengharuskan anak-anak untuk mengikutinya. 2. Faktor penghamabat a). Latar belakang pendidikan, siswa/siswi yang masuk di SMPN 35 Berasrama Kaur sewaktu di Sekolah Dasar (SD) bukannya siswa/siswi yang intelektual b). keterpaksaan, tempat tinggal siswa yang jauh dari sekolah membuat mereka mengharuskan bersekolah di SMPN 35 Berasrama Kaur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan program keputrian dalam meningkatkan pemahaman fikih wanita di MAN 1 Pagar Alam.(2) Mendiskripsikan kekurangan dan kelebihan dari program keputrian program keputrian di MAN 1 Pagar Alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis model interaktif dengan langkah-langkah: Reduksi data, Penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Pelaksanaan program keputrian di MAN 1 Pagar Alam dilaksanakan pada hari Jum’at pukul 12.00-13.00. Program keputrian dilaksanakan dengan pemberian materi fikih wanita. penggunaan metode ceramah dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, dengan penampilan materi yang telah didesain secara menarik, maka akan membuat siswa tertarik untuk memperhatikan penyampaian materi fikih wanita sehingga pemahaman siswa meningkat. Kegiatan program keputrian diakhiri dengan pembacaan kesimpulan materi dan diakhiri dengan penutup. (2) Faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat pada kegiatan keputrian fiqih wanita diantaranya: Faktor pendukung: sekolah memberikan dukungan penuh dan fasilitas sudah memadai. Faktor pengahambat: keterbatasan waktu, kapasitas kelas yang kurang efektif, kurang kesadaran diri pada siswi, siswi kurang antusias ketika mengikuti kegiatan keputrian, metode pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi.
