Abstract

In the last few decades, the use of household electronic goods (Air Conditioner (AC), Washing Machine, and Refrigerator) has increased significantly. Since these devices are used continuously, those might be very susceptible to damage. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system that capable to diagnose and provide information for possible solutions. The system adopts the forward chaining approaches  on the PHP language. The effectiveness of the system was evaluated by using 30 test problems (10 refrigerators, 10 washing machines, and 10 air conditioners). The experimental results are compared to those given by expert. It shown that the system can solve problems effectively.Keywords: Expert System, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Forward Chaining Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, penggunaan barang elektronik rumah tangga (Air Conditioner (AC), Mesin Cuci dan Kulkas) meningkat meningkat sangat signifikan. Karena slat elektronik tersebut digunakan secara terus menerus, sehingga sangat rentan kerusakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan system pakar berbasisi web yang mampu mendiagnosa kerusakan dan memberikan informasi solusi perbaikan yang mungkin dilakukan. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan mengadopsi metode penalaran maju (forward chaining) dalam bahasa PHP. Sistem diujicobakan dengan menggunakan 30 jenis kerusakan (10 kulkas, 10 mesin cuci dan 10 AC). Hasil yang diperoleh dibandingkan dengan hasil yang diberikan oleh pakar. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu membantu penyelesaian masalah secara efektif.Kata kunci: Sistem Pakar, Kecerdasan Buatan, Barang Elektronik, Forward Chaining

Abstract

Computer networks are considered a primary need in the globalization era. Computer networks often used simultaneously at some specific times, leading to a bandwidth overload on the computer network. Overloaded bandwidth can cause disturbances, such as a slower network connection. This study discusses a merge of two internet service providers connections by applying a load balancing technique, namely the equal-cost multipath method. Several stages carried out in this study, including analysis, design, simulation or prototyping, implementation, monitoring, and management. This study successfully shows that an increase in the QoS value can be seen from the test parameters performed. The average throughput and jitter on all computers have increased by 0.17% and 0.68 milliseconds. The average delay for all computers has decreased by 0.9 milliseconds, whereas the average packet loss in all computers experienced a 0.58% quality improvement. Web configurations have been conducted to make the study more manageable.

Abstract

The implementation of remuneration information system make a various risks that can disturb of performance assessment and make a damage for the time or material for Remuneration Management Agency of Lampung University. This research intend to analyze the risk management of remuneration information system and to know the influence of factor the implementation system of risk management remuneration information to used NIST SP 800-30 method. This remuneration information system risk management held for anticipating the source of threat by the following step risk assesment, risk mitigation, and risk evaluation. The result of this risk management is, slow system performance, no features update data, human error, no synchronization with the staffing system, password, security server, differences in perception between verifiers, no notifications data which has not been verified, late data claim and invalid report. The from risk assesment for differences in perception between verifiers and late data claim is high risk, to reduce and eliminate the impact of risk Remuneration Management Agency of of Lampung University do risk mitigation with choose verifier who masters the lecturer performance and early warning system to remind lecturers who have not made claims. The factor that influencing remuneration information system Lampung University risk assesment is human resource that having and ability in information technology for convenience support to risk all risk in every circumstances.

Abstract

Tapis fabric is a Lampung tribe women's clothing in the form of a sarong made of woven cotton threads with a sugi motif or decoration, silver thread or gold thread with an embroidery system. Lampung tapis is the result of woven cotton threads with motifs, silver threads or gold threads and becomes the typical clothing of the Lampung tribe. Tapis fabric can be distinguished by shape and pattern, each type has its own special characteristics. This study aims to identify the tapis fabric using Edge Detection feature extraction and Probability Neural Network (PNN) classification. Experiments were carried out using 525 images data, 450 images became training data, while the other 75 images became test data consisting of 3 types of filters Bintang Perak, Gunung Beradu, and Sasab. The results of the experiment are quite good. The smoothing value applied to the PNN has an effect on the accuracy.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a form of student service activities for the community, requesting and developing science and technology carried out off-campus within a period, linking work, and special requirements managed by the Badan Pelaksana Kuliah Kerja Nyata (BP-KKN). While carrying out KKN activities, each group of students is required to upload a report of the activities carried out in the village. In uploading the report file, there are several categories in each activity, including socialization, training, and character development. To classify the results of uploading activities one of which can be done using clustering techniques. In this research, a clustering of discussion on KKN student activities will be conducted at the University of Lampung. The text mining method is used to process KKN student activities to be more structured. Information on the KKN student activities was obtained as a feature with the Word2Vec weighting technique. The algorithm used is the K-Mean algorithm which has a high accuracy of the size of the object, so this algorithm is relatively more measurable and efficient for processing large numbers of objects. From the results of research conducted, it has been found that apply the text mining process algorithm for clustering with the K-means method on the Unila KKN Student activity data produces a value of k = 2, a lot of filtered data in the preprocess is 6284 data, using this method has not yet gotten a good association analysis because the results of the second cluster do not show the general types of words, typos and reporting activities by students who are not specifically can affect the results of clustering that is not good.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang menarik menjadi salah satu penentu agar pelajaran di sekolah menarik. Guru-guru SMA dalam mengembangkan media pembelajarannya dituntut untuk lebih kreatif sehingga hal ini membutuhkan dukungan teknologi. Teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) menghasilkan objek yang realistis dari objek sebuah mata pelajaran yang dipelajari secara virtual. AR bekerja berdasarkan deteksi citra dan citra yang digunakan adalah marker. Kamera yang telah dikalibrasi akan mendeteksi marker yang diberikan, kemudian setelah mengenali dan menandai pola marker, webcam akan melakukan perhitungan apakah marker sesuai dengan database yang dimiliki. AR agar dapat menyajikan informasi dengan benar ke dalam dunia nyata membutuhkan sebuah pendeteksian marker. Pelatihan ini dilakukan secara langsung di jurusan Ilmu Komputer Universitas Lampung. Pada pelaksanaannya peserta akan diberikan teknik pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis AR.

Abstract

The research was conducted with making an application to change Chomsky Normal Form (CNF) to Greibach Normal Form (GNF) with substitution method. One way of representing Context Free Grammar (CFG) is using Greibach Normal Form (GNF). The development of the application starts by making algorithm with prototype method to change Chomksy Normal Form (CNF) to Greibach Normal Form (GNF). This application is used to change Chomsky Normal Form to Greibach Normal Form and the results show that the application can change Chomsky Normal Form to Greibach Normal Form smoothly.The input for the application must be on Chomksy Normal Form (CNF). Keywords: Chomsky Normal Form, Context Free Grammar, Greibach Normal Form, Prototype Method

Abstract

Carassius Auratus, also known as goldfish, is the most commonly kept ornamental fish in an aquarium that has a variety of species, shapes, and colors. Goldfish anatomy is almost similar between species so it is difficult to distinguish. Goldfish identification has several processes to determine the level of success. One process that is very important for identification is segmentation. Segmentation is the stage to separate objects and backgrounds. Good segmentation results will provide maximum feature extraction results and it should impact on optimal identification results. This research aims to create a system that can be used to segment goldfish fish objects in the background using the Expectation-Maximization method. Expectation-Maximization is an algorithm for estimating a parameter in a function by using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). Goldfish fish species total of 72 images each totaling 216. Goldfish segmentation evaluation results using the Expectation-Maximization method can work well with an accuracy rate of 89.14%. Analysis of the results of the imperfect fish image segmentation is influenced by white light and the background color is almost similar to that of the goldfish. The results of the best goldfish image segmentation are influenced by a good goldfish image when the image capture process at the time of the screenshot has a stable focus and is not blurry so that the edges of the goldfish object appear clearly and sharply.

Abstract

Monitoring refers to the process of gathering and analyzing information that is systematic and continuous related in improving the program. The Al-Qur’an memorization monitoring system that has been running is systematic, but not yet efficient. Recording memorization that uses conventional method requires a great deal of time to recap memorization. This research aimed to develop a system that can act as a medium for recording and monitoring the Al-Qur’an memorization. This research used the Extreme Programming method. This research result is the development of web based the Al-Qur’an memorization monitoring system with unit testing and acceptance testing that suit the needs of users. The Al-Qur’an memorization monitoring system can see memorization recap, record memorization, see memorized surah and see memorization chart. The Al-Qur’an memorization monitoring system can evaluation in the memorized Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

The thesis is a compulsory task that must be completed by a student as a condition of graduation to obtain a bachelor's degree. The questionnaire of the thesis guidance process shows, there were students who experienced problems in the thesis guidance process. The thesis guidance process monitoring information system has previously been developed but is still in the prototype phase. This study aims to develop a system that can assist students in monitoring the status of thesis examination that is being carried out by supervisors as well as providing information about thesis guidance and the percentage of thesis guidance students passing. This research uses the waterfall method. The thesis guidance process monitoring information system will show announcements from supervisors, thesis progress status, and thesis draft checking information.
