Abstract

A study was conducted to investigate how website design and product photos impact purchasing decisions, with a focus on the role of flash sale programs. The research targeted students in Surabaya who have made purchases on the Shopee e-commerce platform, with a sample size of 96 individuals. The data collected from the respondents' questionnaires were analyzed using SEM SmartPLS-3. The findings of the study revealed that flash sale programs, product photos, and website design play a crucial role in influencing consumer decisions. While flash sale programs can generate consumer interest, it is important to manage them wisely to avoid any negative impact on consumer perception. On the other hand, high-quality product photos and a well-designed website can enhance consumer engagement in the purchasing process. The practical implication of this research is that companies should prioritize flash sale programs, product photo quality, website design, and other marketing factors to influence positive purchasing decisions, develop effective marketing strategies, meet consumer needs, and strengthen their brand image. The main contribution of this study lies in the inclusion of the moderating role of flash sale programs in the integrated model of e-commerce marketing. Therefore, this research provides a deeper understanding of the factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions in the e-commerce context, while also serving as a foundation for companies to design more effective and responsive marketing strategies.

Abstract

Objective The research in this journal focuses on Islamic leadership regarding contextual performance integrity, trust that enables employees to work well with other colleagues and be reliable in fulfilling work commitments. This is because the Islamic policies implemented and the example of a leader will make employees put their trust in the company leadership, which will make it easier for employees to cooperate and be committed to their work. Apart from indicators of trust/integrity, employee orientation also influences employee performance indicators, namely task performance. This is because clear direction regarding employee duties, both instructionally and regulatory, makes employee performance in carrying out their duties more effective and efficient. The better Islamic leadership is, the better employee performance will be. If employees work with high trust, performance will increase. Apart from that, if the superior's direction regarding employee orientation is clear, the employee's performance will be better.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa melalui program magang sebagai upaya peningkatan hard skill dan soft skill. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data ini didapat berasal dari buku, jurnal, artikel, surat kabar, dan sumber lainnya yang kredibel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa magang memiliki peran sangat penting untuk meningkatan hard skill dan soft skill mahasiswa yang dapat berguna sebagai bentuk kesiapan mahasiswa untuk terjun ke dunia kerja.

Abstract

This study examines the mediation and moderation effects of price perception and service quality on the relationship between product variety and customer satisfaction in the automotive spare parts retail area. In this study, a quantitative approach was used and data were collected from 80 customers of the BC Waru Sidoarjo store using a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. Statistical analysis was performed by SEM SmartPLS3 software. The results indicate that the factors of pricing perception, service quality, and product variety are interrelated in a very intricate way and can have a huge effect on customer satisfaction. This finding pinpoints the need for an integrated and holistic approach towards improving customer satisfaction. It will help management come up with more efficient ways of improving customer loyalty for competitive advantage in the market by understanding the dynamics of these elements and their interlinkages. It also offers a glimpse into the important interrelations that exist among the variables of key concern, while duly underscoring the need for clarity in understanding those factors that may affect the level of satisfaction on the part of customers from the motor vehicle spare parts sector.

Abstract

The paper is intended to explain how the style of leadership, rewards, and punishments affect work discipline through motivation at PT. WDP, a local wisdom-based start-up company. Using a saturated sample of 34 employees and employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), the results show a paradox in that, whereas leadership style and motivation do not have a significant effect on work discipline, rewards and punishments turn out to be the crucial drivers. Moreover, motivation does not act as a mediating variable between leadership style, rewards, punishments, and work discipline. These findings run counter to conventional leadership paradigms that stress the importance of rewards aligned with culture and punishments being fair and consistent in disciplining. The study emphasizes the integration of local cultural values into human resource practices and suggests that participatory leadership, when tailored to an indigenous context, can further elevate employee performance. This research develops actionable insights for start-ups in navigating the intersection of leadership with local wisdom effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to visually investigate mapping and research trends in the field of woman entrepreneur at the international level. This study uses a bibliometric method using secondary data from Scopus. Analyze and visualize the data using the program VOS Viewer and the search results analysis feature of Scopus. This study analyzed 1392 scientific documents published between 2011 and 2021. Studies show Babson College and Kaciak, E. are the most active institutions and individual researchers in the study of woman entrepreneur. Business, management and accounting are the most managed and widely used areas of woman entrepreneurs. There are four categories of collaborative maps created by researchers around the world. Based on the identification of the knowledge accumulated over the last decade of publication, this study proposes to group the problems of woman entrepreneurs: theme of entrepreneurship & society, barrier & challenge, business performance & network, empowerment & information technology

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Work Environment, Self-Concept, and Organizational Commitment on Employee Job Satisfaction. The population in this study were employees of PT MATU Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia, with a saturated sampling of 52 employees. Data analysis used SPSS 23 program, with instrument testing namely validity and reliability, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the work environment, self-concept and organizational commitment have a significant effect both individually and simultaneously on employee job satisfaction. Organizational commitment is the variable with the most dominant influence. From the findings, organizations and managers are expected to focus on developing a work environment for their workers in various ways, e.g.: equipping tools, creating comfort and stability. This includes recognizing workers' contributions, communicating company progress and achievements to workers, empowering workers, providing work-life balance, and the knowledge and skills required for optimal achievement. Improving all of these factors can increase the worker's self- concept and commitment in the organization which leads to job satisfaction. This research enriches information/theory regarding the relationship between work environment, self-concept and organizational commitment on employee job satisfaction

Abstract

This community service aims to present a SWOT analysis to provide support to the company PT SJL in facing the challenges of increasing competition in the logistics industry. This SWOT approach identifies internal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and external threats. From this analysis, 13 recommended actions were produced which were ordered based on priority to improve operational performance. S-O (optimizing strengths to take advantage of opportunities) and W-O (overcoming weaknesses to take advantage of opportunities) strategies are the main focus. Implementation of subsequent corrective actions is carried out by considering the resources owned by PT SJL, in accordance with predetermined priorities. It provides systematic and adaptive guidance to improve a company's competitiveness in a dynamic business environment.

Abstract

Platform freelance merupakan suatu situs web yang dapat melakukan kegiatan jual beli produk hingga jasa. Dengan majunya perkembangan zaman, banyak pelaku usaha menggunakan ilustrasi sebagai icon untuk produk atau jasa yang mereka sediakan. Dengan terciptanya perangkat lunak seperti laptop, pen  Tabel t dan juga banyaknya aplikasi untuk membuat ilustrasi digital membuat pelukis menyatukan teknik ilustrasi tradisional ke ilustrasi digital. Dengan menggunakan ilustrasi digital, digabung dengan maraknya promosi online membuat produk atau jasa yang penjual tawarkan semakin mudah dikenali. Selain itu tidak hanya digunakan untuk kebutuhan estetika saja, tapi juga menjadi bagian penting dalam pemasaran, branding, dan media sosial.Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh produk dan promosi terhadap penjualan ilustrasi di platform freelance Fiverr. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April 2025. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari ilustrator yang menjual produk atau jasa ilustrasinya di platform freelance Fiverr. Data disebarkan melalui kuesioner dengan sampel sebanyak 96 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan purposive sampling dan teori Lameshow 1997. Data yang didapat dari penelitian ini mengatakan bahwa produk dan promosi berpengaruh positif terhadap penjualan ilustrasi di platform freelance Fiverr. Ilustrator harus menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang efektif, khususnya peningkatan kualitas produk dan melakukan promosi untuk meningkatkan penjualan ilustrasi di platform freelance Fiverr.
