Abstract

The need for electrical energy is increasing every year. The present electrical energy remains largely dependent on fossil energy and can not be renewed. Indonesia is one of the countries rich in renewable energy potential. The abundant energy in Indonesia is water energy as a mini / microhydro scale generator. The development of hydro power is to utilize the potential energy flow of water that has certain head and debit. Then the potential energy is converted by turbine and generator into electrical energy. The purpose of this paper is to conduct a theoretical study to design the optimal angle of archimedes screw with a relatively easy design method. Based on the results obtained geometry and arch angle archimedes screw design with 0.050 m external diameter, 0.030 m internal diameter 0.055 m and slope  angle (α) 450 generates shaft power of 5.11 Watt at 50 rpm rotation capable of producing efficiency 89% with head 1 m and debit 0.5 m / s.

Abstract

commerce. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna media sosial. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan kriteria pengguna media sosial yang telah melakukan pembelian melalui media sosial yang dimiliki dan minimal dua kali pembelian. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui google form. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 152 responden yang terdiri dari 115 responden yang berjenis kelamin perempuan dan 37 responden yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Responden dalam penelitian ini didominasi oleh responden berjenis kelamin perempuan yaitu 75,7% dari jumlah keseluruhan responden. Alat statistik yang digunakan adalah warpPLS. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa word of mouth berpengaruh terhadap persepsi kegunaan, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, serta niat untuk melakukan social commerce. Selain itu, niat untuk melakukan social commerce dipengaruhi oleh persepsi kegunaan dan persepsi kemudahan penggunaan. Hasil penelitian ini juga mengkonfirmasi bahwa persepsi kemudahan penggunaan berpengaruh terhadap persepsi kegunaan.Kata kunci: Social Commerce, Word of mouth, Word of mouth, Persepsi Kegunaan, Persepsi Kemudahaan Penggunaan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor yang mendorong niat individu untuk social commerce di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Hajli’s Social Commerce Construct. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna internet. Sedangkan, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna sosial media. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan kriteria pengguna media sosial yang minimal dua kali telah melakukan pembelian melalui media sosial yang dimilikinya. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan bantuan google form. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 162 responden. Responden dalam penelitian ini didominasi oleh responden berjenis kelamin perempuan, sedangkan usia responden didominasi oleh usia 21-25 tahun. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian menggunakan PLS dengan bantuan alat WarpPLS. Penelitian ini menemukan hasil bahwa niat untuk social commece dipengaruhi oleh social commerce construct dan dukungan sosial. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga memperoleh hasil bahwa dukungan sosial dipengaruhi oleh social commerce construct. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mendukung Hajli’s Social Commerce Construct.

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the role of trust to encourage individuals to do social commerce. The population in this study is internet users. The sample in this study were social media users. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling, with the criteria of social media users who have made at least two purchases through social media they have. Data in the study were collected by distributing questionnaires with the help of Google Form. Respondents in the study numbered 152 respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of WarpPLS. The study found that the intention to make purchases through social media was influenced by trust, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness. In addition, this study also obtained results that the perception of ease of use affects the perception of usefulness

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and information in the current era of globalization is causing a significant shift in human behavior, particularly in the area of shopping. With the growing presence of the internet, people now prefer to make online transactions due to its practicality and time-saving benefits. In this study, the aim is to examine the influence of store image, online customer reviews, and promotions on purchasing decisions in the Shopee marketplace in Surabaya. A quantitative approach was employed, using questionnaires to gather data. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, where a specific number of respondents were randomly selected based on certain criteria. A total of 96 respondents were included in the sample. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and processed using SPSS 21 software. After testing the proposed hypotheses, the results of the study indicate that the variables of store image (X1), online customer reviews (X2), and promotions (X3) have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions (Y), both individually and collectively.

Abstract

Phytochemical screening is a preliminary stage in phytochemical research which aims to provide an overview of class compounds contained in the plants. The solvents used in this study consisted of distillated water, methanol, and n-hexane solvent. The purpose of this study was to determine the secondary metabolites in Red Lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendl.) extract using different three solvents. Red Lemongrass extract was prepared by maceration method using distillated water, methanol, and n-hexane (10 gram: 100 mL) as solvents. Results of the extract were subjected to a phytochemical screening test consisting of flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, tannins, and triterpenoids. The results of phytochemical screening showed that alkaloids, flavonoids, triterpenoids, and saponins were drawn attracted to the distillated water solvent. Meanwhile flavonoids and triterpenoids were drawn to methanol solvents. In addition, triterpenoids were drawn to n-hexane solvents. The best solvent on maceration results will be used as a reference for testing the ability of the extract as an antidiabetic agent.

Abstract

−The activity of community service in this program will try to provide support to increase work productivity at CV. BKM Sidoarjo through the implementation of strategies based on PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act). Emphasis is placed on strengthening teamwork and organizational communication to break down big obstacles: a lack of trust between team members, a limitation in the competence of new employees, and an inability to be open with any conflict. The different stages of the process involve problem identification through planning, intense provisioning with simulation and role-playing methods during the 'Do' stage, periodic evaluation in the 'Check' stage, and corrective steps for sustainability in the 'Action' stage. Implementation results indicated a productivity increase of 41% over and above the initial target. This program has succeeded in bringing about a culture of collaboration and efficiency in work. The suggestions for sustainability: to create a continuous provisioning program, besides using the 5-S concept as work environment efficiency support. With such benefits being accrued to them in the process, the case would serve as an invaluable reference for other similar organizations grappling with such obstacles.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa melalui program magang sebagai upaya peningkatan hard skill dan soft skill. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data ini didapat berasal dari buku, jurnal, artikel, surat kabar, dan sumber lainnya yang kredibel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa magang memiliki peran sangat penting untuk meningkatan hard skill dan soft skill mahasiswa yang dapat berguna sebagai bentuk kesiapan mahasiswa untuk terjun ke dunia kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji gaya pemimpin yang efektif untuk diterapkan pada pegawai yang memiliki karakter kepribadian berbeda-beda. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus dalam penelitiannya. Narasumber penelitian ini adalah pegawai dari proyek konstruksi pembangunan gedung di daerah Surabaya sejumlah lima orang. Wawancara secara langsung dengan narasumber digunakan untuk teknik pengumpulan datanya.
