Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Inquiry Discovery learning strategy in enhancing the learning independence of elementary school students. The Inquiry Discovery learning model emphasizes students' active role in the process of discovering and investigating learning concepts through the stages of asking questions, collecting data, analyzing, and drawing conclusions independently. With this approach, students are encouraged to develop critical thinking skills and take responsibility for their own learning process. The results show that the implementation of the Inquiry Discovery model significantly increases students' learning independence through improved abilities to formulate problems, generate hypotheses, and actively explore material. This improvement also has a positive impact on students' learning motivation and self-confidence in facing learning challenges. The teacher acts as a facilitator who guides without taking over the student's learning role, thus strengthening independence in learning from an early age. These findings recommend the use of the Inquiry Discovery strategy as a primary choice in the learning process in elementary schools to develop independent, critical, and creative students.

Abstract

The research aimed to find out the significance of the reflection as one of stage when implementing microteaching practices. The subjects in this research were sixth semester students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar who were selected using purposive sampling technique. This method of research was qualitative research with phenomena experienced by the subject of research. This research data was collected through semi-structured interview. Data analysis technique used data minimization, data visualization, and conclusion or interpretation. The results of this research showed that the reflection stage in microteaching was very important and beneficial to do because it could help students and teachers in evaluating and improving the quality of education. Therefore, it is important for educational institutions to continue to encourage and facilitate consistent and in-depth reflection practices, so that students can fully benefit from this process and achieve optimal academic and personal potential.

Abstract

Menurut United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), status gizi balita pada 2020 anak-anak di bawah 5tahun di seluruh dunia di perkirakan 45,4 juta atau 6,7% mengalami kekurangan gizi akut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan ibu tentang promosi susu formula di Desa Blang Kubu Kecamatan Peudada Kabupaten Bireuen tahun 2024. Jenis penelitian mengunakan desain penelitian quasi experimental designs, dengan perancangan One Group Pretest dan posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang mempunyai balita ≥ 2 tahun di Desa Blang Kubu Kecamatan Peudada Kabupaten Bireuen selama bulan Januari yang berjumlah 245 orang. Teknik pengambilan sample yaitu quota sampling yaitu berjumlah 30 responden. Di Uji dengan menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil diperoleh pengetahuan ibu sebelum di berikan Pendidikan Kesehatan kurang 24 responden (80%), pengetahuan ibu sesudah diberikan Pendidikan kesehatan baik 23 responden (76,6%), uji normalitas diperoleh nilai p pengetahuan ibu pre test (0,087) > a (0,05) dan post test (0,076) > a (0,05), maka data berdistribusi secara normal, rata-rata pengetahuan ibu sebelum diberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang promosi susu formula adalah 7,12 (Pengetahuan kurang),dengan standar deviasi 1,543, sesudah diberikan perlakuan menjadi 5,87 (Pengetahuan baik) dengan standart deviasi 1,100, nilai p (0,003) < a (0,05), Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang promosi susu formula efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu. Diharapkan bagi ibu untuk dapat memberikan ASI eksklusif dan menyusui bayinya sampai 2 tahun.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in creating a positive environment for high-achieving deaf students in inclusive sixth-grade classrooms. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that parents play a central role in providing emotional support, motivation, and facilitating effective communication, enabling deaf children to optimally develop their academic and social potential. Furthermore, collaboration between parents and teachers in inclusive schools is also a crucial factor in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The study also reveals various challenges faced by parents, such as limited resources and social stigma, as well as the strategies they use to overcome these obstacles. These findings provide a comprehensive picture of the importance of empowering parents as key partners in inclusive education. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of policies and programs that support the success of deaf students in inclusive schools.
