Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kesulitan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran literasi matematika. Data penelitian diperoleh dari dua puluh tujuh guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah di kota Medan. Menggunakan kuesioner terbuka dan wawancara, data persepsi guru tentang kesulitan yang dihadapi dalam menerapkan pembelajaran literasi matematika. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif deskriptif melalui tahap: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan guru tentang literasi matematika sangat baik, tetapi guru kesulitan dalam menerapkan pembelajara literasi matematika. Ada empat aspek, yaitu: aspek penyusunan pembelajaran model literasi matematika, sarana dan prasaran belajar literasi matematika, perbedaan pengalaman siswa atau perbedaan konteks, dan evaluasi literasi matematika. Implikasinya, guru Madrasah Ibtidayyah membutuhkan kegiatan pendampingan yang fokus dalam menerapkan pembelajaran literasi matematika di Madrasah Ibtidayyah, sehingga membantu guru untuk merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran literasi matematika disekolah. Sehingga siswa di Madrasah Ibtidayyah mendapatkan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kompetensi literasi matematika yang diharapakan dalam pembelajaran matematika Nasional.

The aim of this research is "to analyze the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VIII students at RK Deli Murni Deli Tua Middle School in working on story problems on SPLDV material in terms of gender. The methods researchers use to collect data during research are known as data collection techniques. This research is based on qualitative data and aims to explain students' problem solving steps based on the level of their problem solving abilities using Polya steps which are evaluated based on students' gender. The location of this research was carried out at RK Deli Murni Deli Tua Private Middle School, the subjects were class VIII students at RK Deli Murni Deli Tua Private Middle School, Deli Tua, academic year 2024. The research was carried out in semester 2 with the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum. This research uses interviews to collect data. Based on the presentation of the research results, it can be concluded that students' mathematical problem solving abilities in SPLDV material are relatively low, because students tend to memorize material and formulas rather than understanding concepts and students have not been trained to analyze a problem and the facts found so that as a result the productivity obtained by students at the school very few, and students have difficulty solving problems that require problem solving skills.Keywords: Problem Solving, Story Problems, SPLDV Material, Gender

Students' mathematical communication skills and self-esteem remain low. One learning alternative that can improve students' mathematical communication skills and self-esteem is REACT learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills through REACT-based contextual learning and to determine the improvement of students' self-esteem through REACT-based contextual learning. The method used in this study was quasi-experimental. The population of this study was class VIII MTs Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa. The sample in this research was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, namely class VIII-3 as the experimental class and VIII-4 as the control class at MTs Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa. The research instruments used consisted of a mathematical communication ability test instrument made in the form of a description (pretest-posttest), and a non-test instrument in the form of a self-esteem questionnaire. Data analysis used the t-test on pretest-posttest data via Spss for Windows version 20. From the results of the study of research data, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) the increase in mathematical communication skills of students who received the REACT-based contextual learning model was better than students who received the learning model; 2) The self-esteem of students who use the REACT-based contextual learning model is better than the self-esteem of students who use the contextual learning model

Objective: This study discusses the use of the Educaplay interactive platform on students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities in learning about flat shapes in grade V elementary school. Through a comparative analysis of the pre-test and post-test results, it can be seen that Educaplay is able to improve students' cognitive abilities from 60 to 86.67%. As well as affective abilities of 81.84 to 88.08% and Psychomotor Abilities of 80.94 to 85.17%, respectively. In addition, Educaplay also succeeded in providing student involvement during the learning process, so that the learning process became more interactive and interesting. Educaplay provides a more diverse learning experience and makes it easier for students to understand the concept of flat shapes more deeply. The research findings show that the application of Educaplay technology-based media in the learning process has a positive effect on students' cognitive, affective, psychomotor abilities and improves the quality of teaching at the elementary school level. The research findings recommend the use of Educaplay as a learning tool to improve students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities.

Permasalahan rendahnya rasa percaya diri dan sikap sosial di kalangan siswa sekolah menengah menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat dalam perkembangan potensi akademik maupun non-akademik mereka. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan sikap sosial siswa melalui penerapan metode hypnoterapi. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP Swasta husni Thamrin Medan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari observasi awal, pelatihan dan pelaksanaan hypnoterapi, serta evaluasi akhir. Teknik hypnoterapi yang digunakan berbasis pendekatan sugesti positif yang dilakukan dalam sesi kelompok dan individual. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam indikator rasa percaya diri dan sikap sosial siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui observasi lapangan dan instrumen angket yang menunjukkan perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Dengan demikian, hypnoterapi terbukti menjadi salah satu pendekatan alternatif yang efektif dalam penguatan karakter siswa.

Lokasi Mitra Pengabdian di SMK Swasta Al Washliyah 3 Medan yang beralamt di JL. GARU II NO. 2 MEDAN, Harjosari I, Kecamatan Medan Amplas, Kota Medan Provinsi Sumatera Utara merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang ada di Kota Medan. Fokus Permasalahan berdasarkan justifikasi pengusulan bersama mitra yang terkait dalam menentukan persoalan prioritas yang disepakati untuk diselesaikan selama pelaksanaan program PKM yaitu mengenai belum optimalnya kemampuan matematika peserta didik di SMK Swasta Al Washliyah 3 Medan dalam pembelajaran bermakna yang menyangkutkan dengan kebudayaan serta belum optimalnya guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran seperti Puzzel bergambar berbasis budaya. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah PKM Pembuatan Puzzel Bergambar Berbasis Budaya Di SMK Al Washliyah 3 Medan.Solusi yang ditawarkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan mitra dengan memberikan sosialisasi tentang penyelenggaraan pembelajaran bermakna diharapkan akan memberikan peningkatan mutu penyelenggaraan Pendidikan di SMK Al Washliyah 3 Medan. Hasil Kegiatan dideskripsikan berdasar hasil analisis penilaian dari 33 guru yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian terdapat sebesar 57,57 % atau 19 orang yang menyatakan “Sangat Baik”, sebesar 12 orang atau 36,36 % menyatakan “baik” dan sebesar 18,18 % atau 6 orang menyatakan cukup baik. Pelatihan ini yang didukung dengan beberapa indikator bahwa kegiatan pengabdian yang diselenggarakan dapat diikuti dengan lancar, penuh pemahaman serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam membuat Puzzel Bergambar berbasis budaya. Namun masih ada beberapa guru yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian membutuhkan pendampingan dalam pemahaman pembuatan Puzzel Bergambar berbasis budaya. Hal ini disebabkan ada beberapaguru tersebut yang usianya sudah tidak muda, tidak memahami mengenai IT dan beberapa alas an lainnya.

The development of students' critical mathematical thinking skills and attention to individual uniqueness in the learning process needs to be given attention, in order to be able to create an inclusive learning environment and support the development of each student's potential. The aim of this research is to determine the differences in the achievement and improvement of students' critical mathematical thinking skills from two different learning models and based on learning styles. The experimental group used a problem-based learning approach, while the control group used a conventional learning approach. This research uses a quantitative quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test non-equivalent group design. This data was collected through a mathematical critical thinking ability test and a learning style questionnaire, which were completed by 40 students of SMP Swasta Sriwijaya Medan. The results of this study showed that students who took part in problem-based learning, as well as students with a kinesthetic learning style, performed better compared to the group who took part in conventional learning. However, if you look at auditory and kinesthetic learning styles, students who take part in problem-based descriptive learning have better performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that problem-based learning is quite effective in developing critical mathematical thinking skills, especially for students with a kinesthetic learning style.

Bukti di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa siswa terus menunjukkan kemampuan yang kurang memadai dalam pemahaman aritmatika dan kemandirian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman gagasan antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran penemuan dan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan berbagai metode termasuk tes, kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian di evaluasi dengan menggunakan uji normalitas pada data posttest dari kelas eksperimen. Data tersebut memiliki nilai L0 sebesar 0,126067 untuk jumlah sampel 30, dan tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Data pretest untuk kelas kontrol menunjukkan nilai L0 sebesar 0,150133 untuk jumlah sampel 30, dan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Harga yang ditunjukkan pada Ltabel adalah 0,161. Oleh karena itu, temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis nol (Ha) diterima. Secara sederhana, temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan substansial dalam pemahaman siswa tentang ide-ide matematika dan kemampuan mereka untuk bekerja secara mandiri dalam model pembelajaran Discovery.
