Abstract

Character education is the main foundation in forming a generation that is not only intellectually smart, but also morally and spiritually strong. This article aims to examine in depth the role of the family in the process of children's character education in the midst of globalization and the challenges of digitalization. This research uses a library research approach with descriptive qualitative analysis of various sources such as scientific journals, books, and previous research results. The results of the study show that families, especially parents, have a strategic role as the first educators who instill values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, empathy, and religiosity through modeling, habituation, and effective communication. In addition, families also play an important role in shaping national resilience through the cultivation of national values and local culture. Supervision of digital media, the application of appropriate parenting, and harmonization in the household environment are important factors in the success of character education. Thus, character education in the family is a long-term investment to produce a superior generation that is ready to face the challenges of the times.

Abstract

This qualitative case study examines the application of gamification in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Aisyiyah Cindogo Bondowoso Elementary School, focusing on the Sirah Nabawiyah material to strengthen character building and learning motivation of elementary school students. Using the Sygma Daya Insani package, the weekly 90-minute Sirah Nabawiyah Club session incorporates game elements—such as points, badges, quests, and collaborative challenges—into three stages: a reflective opening, game-based Exploration, and character dialogue. Data were obtained through participant observation, in-depth interviews with seven informants, document analysis, and focus group discussions. These data were then analyzed thematically with triangulation to ensure validity. The results show significant improvements in five dimensions of Islamic character—self-confidence, caring, honesty, discipline, and empathy—as evidenced by active participation, honest reporting, and positive behavioral changes at home. Gamification transforms passive memorization into an immersive and meaningful learning experience, connecting the exemplary values of the Prophet Muhammad with real-life practices. This research confirms the role of gamification as a differentiated pedagogy that is inclusive and relevant to the needs of 21st-century Islamic Education (PAI). Further research is recommended to develop open-source and low-tech gamification models for broader replication.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and strategies of introducing mathematical proofs appropriately for students, as well as to describe their contribution to enhancing logical, critical thinking, and understanding of mathematical concepts. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach through the analysis of various current scientific literature relevant to mathematics learning and education. The results of the study indicate that mathematical proofs not only function as a tool for verifying the truth of a statement but also as an epistemological process that develops deductive, argumentative, and reflective reasoning skills in understanding the structure and relationships of mathematical logic. Effective introduction strategies include the use of visual representations, collaborative learning, linguistic scaffolding, and the application of a gradual approach from informal argumentation to formal deduction. The approach has been proven to enhance students conceptual understanding, argumentative skills, and logical awareness. The implication is that proofs need to be systematically integrated into mathematics learning in secondary schools to strengthen Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and develop a scientific mindset in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) research synthesizes findings from five scientific articles that focus on the vital role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in overcoming the crisis and moral decadence among the Young Generation triggered by the minimal internalization of positive values in education, the lack of family roles, and the challenges of the digital era. The results of the synthesis show that overcoming the moral crisis requires a comprehensive approach, including: first, Affective Approach: PAI must transform from a cognitive focus to an Affective Approach based on the core values of the Qur'an (Ihsan, Rahmah, Tawadhu', Sabr, Amanah) to touch students' spirituality; second, Social Integration: PAI must be integrated with social reality to foster social piety through community-based programs (mosques) that ground Islamic values contextually; and third, Digital Adaptation: PAI teachers play a strategic role as moral role models and are required to adapt to the digital era through strategies for utilizing interactive technology and forming positive digital communities to overcome the influence of negative social media content. Overall, PAI is a central pillar whose effectiveness depends on strong collaboration between educational environments and the ability of teachers to be technologically literate spiritual-affective guides.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the gap between the standard prayer readings of Khoiru Ummah Islamic Junior High School Malang and the diverse practices of students due to differences in background. The absence of a specific time allocation for talaqqi becomes a challenge in standardization efforts. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation steps of the guided habituation method through the Jahr technique (loud reading) in congregational Dhuha Prayer as a pedagogical solution. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a case study design. Data were collected through non-participant observation, in-depth interviews with the Principal and Islamic Education Teachers, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with students, and document analysis. The results show that the implementation of this method follows the habit loop flow (trigger, routine, reward) from a behavioristic perspective. The Jahr technique functions as an effective auditory stimulus (talaqqi) in helping students memorize standard readings, supported by the fiqh-pedagogical justification of Jahr li at-ta'lim. Despite its effectiveness, challenges were identified in the consistency of student responses (passive) and the lack of systematic post-prayer reinforcement. It was concluded that the guided habituation method through the Dhuha Prayer Session is a practical pedagogical model that can be implemented to standardize practical worship in schools.

Abstract

This study examines legal protection for banks in facing bad loans with non-certificate land as collateral, particularly in the context of distributing Working Capital Credit (KMK) to MSMEs. In banking practice, non-certificate land such as girik, petok D, or segel is still widely used as collateral even though it does not meet the formal requirements as an object of Mortgage Rights as regulated in Law Number 4 of 1996. This condition creates vulnerability for banks as creditors, because non-certificate land documents only function as proof of control, not proof of rights, so they do not have executorial power. This study uses a normative juridical method with a statutory and conceptual approach to examine the gap between positive law and banking practice. The results show that preventive legal protection for banks is reflected in the provisions on collateral assessment, the bank's obligation to apply the principle of prudence, and the bank's internal regulations regarding credit risk mitigation. Repressive legal protection is realized through legal remedies that can be taken if the debtor defaults, including through simple lawsuits, risk transfer through debt acknowledgment agreements, and civil execution based on debt-receivable relationships. This study also formulates a conceptualization of dispute resolution that includes mediation, credit restructuring, and litigation as a last resort. The results of this study confirm that the use of non-certificate collateral requires strengthened regulations and harmonization between agrarian and banking law to ensure legal certainty and protection for creditors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe collaborative and cooperative learning innovations in improving students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah (MDT) Ula Al-Ikhlas Madura. The background of this research is based on initial observations that the Islamic Religious Education learning process at MDT Ula Al-Ikhlas Madura still uses conventional methods that are one-way and emphasize cognitive aspects only, thus providing less space for students to think critically and interact actively. The method in this research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type which aims to obtain an in-depth, systematic, and factual picture regarding the application of collaborative and cooperative learning innovations in PAI subjects at MDT Ula Al-Ikhlas Madura. Data was collected through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation of Islamic Education teachers and students at MDT Ula Al-Ikhlas Madura. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of collaborative and cooperative learning models can create an active, interactive learning environment among students. This learning innovation encourages students to think critically, work collaboratively in groups, and better understand Islamic values through direct learning experiences. The increase in students' understanding can be seen from their involvement in discussions, their ability to explain the concepts of Islamic teachings, and changes in behavior in daily worship practices.
