Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using flipbook media on student learning outcomes in material on the law of supply and demand for class X SMA Negeri 2 Bondowoso. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling used purposive sampling in class X G as the control class and class X D as the experimental class. Data collection techniques are tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques are the Independent Sample t-test and the N-Gain test. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the use of flipbook media on student learning outcomes with a significant value of 0.000 ? 0.05 and the N-Gain test in the control class obtained an average value of 0.1 and the experimental class obtained an average value of 0.5. From this comparison it can be concluded that the experimental class had a higher increase in learning outcomes than the control class. Based on the N-Gain assessment criteria, the control class is included in the low criteria, namely Ngain ? 0.3, while the experimental class learning outcomes are included in the medium criteria, with a value of 0.3 ? N-Gain ? 0.70. This shows that implementing the use of flipbook media has a more significant influence on improving student learning outcomes compared to not implementing the use of flipbook media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the presence of 21st century skills in Economics textbooks used in class XII SMA/MA learning activities. This is based on the important role of textbooks used as learning resources that help prepare students to become highly competitive and qualified individuals to face global challenges. The analysis in this study focused on four indicators of 21st century skills, namely critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, communication skills, and collaboration skills. This research included quantitative research using a descriptive approach with the documentation method. This study used descriptive statistical analysis techniques with percentage techniques. This study obtained results showing that the Economics textbook for class XII SMA/MA published by Grafindo Media Pratama in 2019 was considered to integrate 21st century skills with a percentage of communication skills of 100% with very good criteria, collaboration skills of 100% with very good criteria, creative thinking skills of 83.5% with very good criteria and critical thinking skills of 75% with good criteria. This study recommends schools to provide more varied learning resources that can support students to practice 21st century skills and recommends teachers to use the learning model.

Abstract

Rapid technological advancements in the digital era require teachers to continuously innovate in selecting effective learning media. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to enhance instructional quality through more adaptive, interactive, and personalized digital learning resources. This study aims to develop and evaluate an AI-based interactive digital module for senior high school economics instruction. Employing a research and development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model — Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation — the study conducted expert validations and large-scale trials involving five economics teachers and 158 Grade XI students across five public senior high schools in Jember Regency. The module was assessed using five core criteria of e-module quality. Results show that the module achieved excellent ratings across all categories: self-instruction (96.36%), self-contained (96%), stand-alone (94.10%), adaptive (99.66%), and user-friendly (97.36%), with an overall average score of 96.70%. These findings indicate that the AI-based interactive module is highly feasible and effective for supporting economics learning, addressing the limitations of conventional instructional materials, and aligning with the demands of digital learning in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The study concludes that the developed module can serve as a valuable instructional innovation for economics teachers, enhancing both learning engagement and the quality of technology-integrated education.

Abstract

Keterbatasan lahan dan fluktuasi harga hasil pertanian menyebabkan pendapatan petani gurem tidak stabil, sehingga berdampak pada kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga. Program pemberdayaan istri petani gurem melalui bag craft creative berbahan dasar strapping band plastik merupakan bentuk usaha kreatif yang dilakukan dengan modal relatif kecil dan tidak memerlukan keterampilan kompleks sehingga mudah dilakukan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi istri petani gurem agar dapat menghasilkan produk kerajinan tas anyaman yang bernilai jual sehingga menjadi sumber penghasilan tambahan bagi keluarga. Mitra sasaran adalah kelompok masyarakat tidak produktif secara ekonomi yakni istri petani gurem pada salah satu desa di Kab. Jember berjumlah 20 orang. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari pelatihan pembuatan bag craft creative berbahan dasar strapping band plastik yang bernilai ekonomis; branding produk; serta pendampingan strategi digital marketing. Pelaksanaan pemberdayaan dilakukan dalam bentuk demonstrasi dan praktik. Hasilnya menunjukkan peserta pelatihan memiliki keterampilan pembuatan bag craft creative berbahan dasar strapping band plastik, serta strategi pemasaran digital. Respon mitra sangat positif ditunjukkan dengan antusiasme terhadap program. Pengabdian sejenis dapat dilakukan dengan konsep penyempurnaan pada kelompok sasaran yang lebih luas.
