Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of substituting native grass with citronella waste on the digestibility of ruminants' dry matter, organic matter, and crude protein. A completely randomized design with 6 (six) treatments and 3 (three) replications is used in this research. The treatments were as follows: P1 = 50% native grass + 0% citronella waste + 50% concentrate; P2 = 40% native grass + 10% citronella waste + 50% concentrate; P3 = 30% native grass + 20% citronella waste + 50% concentrate; P4 = 20% native grass + 30% citronella waste + 50% concentrate; P5 = 10% native grass + 40% citronella waste + 50% concentrate; and P6 = 0% native grass + 50% citronella waste + 50% concentrate.  The results showed that substituting native grass with citronella waste significantly affects (P<0.01) the digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, and crude protein. The highest digestibility values were observed in the treatment using 100% native grass, with dry matter digestibility at 52.67%, organic matter at 56.58%, and crude protein at 67.55%. The study concludes that while native grass cannot be entirely replaced by citronella waste, it can substitute up to 50% of the complete feed when native grass availability is limited.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of moringa leaf extract supplementation as a source of natural antioxidants in a complete ration based on fermented citronella oil distillation by-products on the content of crude fiber, crude fat, and nitrogen-free extract. This research used a Completely Randomized Design, five treatments, and three replications for each treatment. The treatments consisted of antioxidant supplementation with doses: of 0% (P0/control), 0.125% (P1), 0.25% (P2), 0.375% (P3), and 0.50% (P4). The variables measured included crude fiber, crude fat, and NFE content. The results of the study showed that the lowest average crude fiber content was in treatment P3 (25.43%), the lowest crude fat content was in P4 (1.88%), and the highest NFE content was in P4 (47.83%). Supplementation of moringa leaf antioxidants in fermented lemongrass waste-based rations with various doses (0%, 0.125%, 0.25%, 0.375%, 0.50%) showed no significant effect (P>0.05) on crude fiber, crude fat, and BETN content. The research concludes that supplementation of moringa leaf extract as a source of natural antioxidants showed no significant effect on crude fiber, crude fat, and NFE content

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class This research aims to find out how much influence Digital Literacy Skills have on the Learning Outcomes of Class X Students in Economics Subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in the study were all class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi in the 2023/2024 academic year, namely 162 people. Sampling was carried out using a simple random sampling technique of 115 people. The analysis technique used is a simple linear regression analysis technique.The results of this research show that digital literacy skills on learning outcomes show a value (Sig) of 0.00<0.05 and a value of tcount>ttable (17.858>1.661) meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of digital literacy skills on the learning outcomes of class X students in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi. The magnitude of the influence of digital literacy skills on learning outcomes is 73.8%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Junjung Sirih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengertahui seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan sistem Full Day School terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1Junjung Sirih. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Junjung Sirih yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yaitu 166 orang. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 118 orang dimana teknik pengambilan sampel nya yaitu teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh besaran pengaruh penerapan sistem Full Day School terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 36,9% dan nilai t hitung 8,242 sedangkan t tabel 2,29 maka hipotesis diterima. Taraf signifikan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 0,05.Berdasarkan kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan sistem Full Day School terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Junjung Sirih sebesar 36,9%.

Abstract

This study aims to find (1) Differences in learning outcomes of students who apply learning media mind map has a higher learning outcomes than the media board, (2) difference in students who have high motivation to learn higher learning outcomes of the students who have the motivation low learning, and (3) the interaction between the use of media mind map with motivation toward economics student learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The results of the study are (1) students are taught implement instructional media mind maps had significantly higher learning outcomes than students who were taught using the media blackboard with sig. = 0.001, is smaller than the value of ? = 0.05 (sig. <?), (2) high learning motivation students had significantly higher learning outcomes than students with low learning motivation with sig. = 0.001, is smaller than the value of ? = 0.05 (sig. <?) and (3) there is no interaction with the media use mind maps motivation on learning outcomes of students with sig. The mean value = 1.000 sig. Greater than the value of ? = 0.05 (sig.> ?). Based on these results, it is recommended that teachers use media mind maps on the learning process mainly on economic subjects.

Abstract

This study is based on the low learning outcomes of students allegedly influenced by divergent thinking styles such as the level of mastery is still low. The goal to be achieved in this study is to find out how much influence the student's thinking style on the learning outcomes IPS students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Solok city. This type of research is quantitative. The population were students of SMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok, there are 68 students. This study uses total sampling technique. The technique used in this research is simple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicates that: the style of thinking has ???????????????????????? equal to 3.685 while ???????????????????????? equal to 1,995. So the conclusion in this study is there is a positive and significant influence between the thinking style on the student's learning outcomes. Based on data analysis whereas statistic by using t test, it is known that thinking style have ???????????????????????????????????????????????? 3.685 while ???????????????????????? equal to 1,995, this means ???????????????????????????????????????????????? > ???????????????????? then ???????? rejected ???????? accepted. So the conclusion that there is a significant influence between students' thinking styles on the learning outcomes IPS class VIII students in SMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok. For the researcher to increase the researcher's perspective on student's thinking style about IPS teacher in realizing good learning condition, for students is to improve their learning achievement optimally, for teachers can be as reference and guidance in preparing lesson that can improve learning objectives.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the activities of students of the Economic Education Study Program in utilizing of the Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin University library as a learning resource, obtaining information and analyzing what information materials can be obtained from the Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin University library, and obtaining information regarding the obstacles faced by students in utilizing the library at Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin University as a learning resource. This research is a qualitative research in which the research data is obtained through interviews. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that students have used the library as a learning resource by borrowing reference books, doing group study, and utilizing the available internet wifi. The information obtained in the library is in the form of reference books for lecture assignments and the preparation of final assignments, then also available novels, magazines, story books and student final assignments. The constraints found in utilizing the library are still the lack of availability of references that are sought both in terms of collection and quantity and there are also no results of research and community service produced by lecturers at the Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin University library.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City. This is thought to be due to low interest in reading and learning resources in the learning process. This research aims to examine, 1) the influence of interest in reading on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City, 2) the influence of learning resources on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City, 3) the influence of interest in reading and Learning Resources for Social Studies Learning Outcomes for Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City. This research method is a quantitative method. The subjects in this research were class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires, observation and documentation. From the research results it was found that 1) there was no partial influence between interest in reading on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP N 5 Solok City, 2) there was no influence between learning resources on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP N 5 Solok City and, 3) there is no simultaneous influence between reading interest and learning resources on students' social studies learning outcomes class VIII SMP N 5 Solok City.

Abstract

Guru yang memiliki kompetensi sosial akan mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik dengan siswa. Jika kompetensi sosial guru mengalami peningkatan, motivasi belajar sisa juga akan mengalami peningkatan. Sedangkan jika kemampuan kompetensi sosial guru mengalami penurunan, maka motivasi belajar siswa juga akan mengalami menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi sosial guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Kelompok Ilmu Sosial kelas IX MTsN Kota Solok. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data diketahui (Sig) 0,000<0,05 dan nilai thitung (7,867) > ttabel (1,974) maka H0 ditolak maka Ha diterima, diketahui nilai R square adalah 0, 274 (0,274 X 100% = 27,4% Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh kompetensi sosial guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa ialah 27,4% dan 72,6%. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari kompetensi sosial guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kelompok ilmu sosial kelas IX MTsN Kota Solok.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the fiber fraction content of oil palm fronds fermented using a local bio activator of rumen content with different incubation times as ruminant feed. The design used in this study was factorial in a 2 x 3 with 3 replications for each treatment. In factor A there was a type of bio activator A1 (Lactic Acid Bacteria) A2 (Crude Enzyme) while in factor B there was an incubation period of 0 days, 7 days, and 14 days. The parameters were the fiber content of oil palm fronds. There were NDF, ADF, Cellulose, and Hemicellulose. The results showed that fermentation based on local bio activators of livestock waste can reduce lignin content so that it will increase nutrient digestibility. The best results were in fermentation with a source of bioactivator in the rumen with an incubation period of 7 days.
