Abstract

Education is one of the important factors in human life to provide provisions for life through various learning processes, including physical education, sports, and health learning. However, physical activity in children is still relatively low, which is a global problem, one of which is the lack of motivation of children in exercising. For this reason, a study was conducted that applied the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in learning to pass down in volleyball. This study aims to find out the extent to which this approach can increase students' learning motivation. This research was carried out at SMA N 2 Semarang using the classroom action research method (PTK), which was carried out in two cycles. The subject of the study is students in grades X-10 at the school. The results showed that in the first cycle, the students' learning motivation was recorded with an average score of 120.27, and experienced a significant increase in the second cycle to 141.92, with an increase of 18%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in class X-10 SMA N 2 Semarang is effective in increasing students' learning motivation in PJOK subjects. Therefore, the CRT approach can be recommended as an alternative in PJOK learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the jigsaw learning model and problem-based learning based on culturally responsive teaching (CRT) in improving football learning outcomes of grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Semarang The sampling technique applied is purposive sampling. This study uses a test as an instrument, the test used is a shooting test. The normality test, homogeneity test, and difference hypothesis test and t test are the analyses used in this study. Information was obtained that the average score of the students in the jigsaw learning approach group was 74.4 and the posttest results after treatment with jigsaw learning were on average 85.  Meanwhile, the data of the problem based learning group before the treatment was carried out, the average student score was 75.3 and after the treatment, the student score changed, namely with a mean value or an average score of 85.06. It was interpreted that the hypothesis was rejected because there was no significant difference in the results of the students' pretest between the two treatment groups. The jigsaw learning model group provided an increase of 14.2%, while the problem-based learning model group provided an increase of 12.9%. The conclusion is that the use of jigsaw learning models and problem-based learning has a significant influence on football learning outcomes in grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Semarang. The jigsaw learning model group is an effective learning model compared to the Problem based learning model on football learning outcomes in grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to test the implementation of the CRT Culturally Responsive Teaching approach in the 10th grade of SMA N 2 Semarang. The research used is a Class Action Research. This research will be carried out at SMA N 2 Semarang and will involve students in grades X-11 as research subjects. Therefore, the population in this study is 36 students in grades X-11. This research took place from October 1 to October 17, 2024 which took place at SMA N 2 Semarang. The data collection process was carried out by conducting an assessment in 3 meetings about short-distance running materials. The results of the study showed that at the first meeting the most was very good with 19 people, but there were still 3 people who were in the poor category. In the second meeting, there was an increase, namely 29 people included in the good category, but there was still 1 student who was included in the very poor category. Finally, in the third meeting, the most was obtained, namely 34 students in the good category and 2 students in the sufficient category.  At the first meeting, most of them were included in the very good category, while 53%. Meanwhile, at the second meeting, most of them were in the good category of 80%. In the third meeting, most of them were included in the very good category as much as 94% of the total students. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the CRT Culturally Responsive Teaching approach has an impact on the learning of short-distance running students of Grade 10 SMA Negeri 2 Semarang. The results of learning to run short distances in Class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Semarang have experienced a significant increase. In the first meeting, classical completeness in class X students was 89%, then increased by 3% in the second meeting. In the second meeting it got a score of 92% then increased by 2% in the third meeting to 94%. The suggestion for teachers of physical education, sports and health should be to provide guidance with an approach according to the cultural conditions of students so that students' enthusiasm and enthusiasm in learning are easy to understand.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the limited space for men's artistic gymnastics in Central Java, which generally uses a small and unrepresentative school arena, so the arrangement of equipment such as uneven bars, parallel bars, rings and saddle horses is not optimal. The aim of this study is to develop innovative multifunctional artistic gymnastics equipment in a limited space to optimise the gross motor development of junior male artistic gymnasts and to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of training. The research method uses a research and development approach with quantitative data from expert questionnaires, athletes and coaches, as well as analysis of equipment innovation based on Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology. The results of the analysis showed the maximum stress on the developed equipment, namely single bars 45.7 MPa, parallel bars 72.6 MPa, straps 29.48 MPa and saddles 92.9 MPa, which are located at the ends near the pivot point. The results of the analysis showed that the Innovation products are safe to use. The conclusion the conclusion of this research is the creation of artistic gymnastics equipment innovation in a limited space that is feasible to use.

Abstract

Kabupaten Kendal merupakan kabupaten yang memiliki segudang sanggar senam. Sudah banyak instruktur senam yang menjadi alumni/siswa dalam Lembaga Kursus dan Keterampilan Instruktur Senam Novheee di Kabupaten Kendal. Namun dari banyaknya instruktur tersebut, ketika sedang mengajar senam masih sering menggunakan senam SKJ yang lama dengan peserta yang ikut senam. Sehigga pembelajaran senam tidak dapat dilakukan secara maksimal. Oleh karena itu tim pengabdi memberikan Pelatihan Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat untuk pembelajaran senam di semua tingkatan sekolah, sanggar dan instansi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemberian materi ajar, praktik, video tutorial dan teknik gerak. Luaran dalam pengabdian ini adalah berupa pemberian sertifikat legal kepada peserta sebagai pesertapelatihan Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat. Kegiatan ini dipublikasikan pada media massa. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 instruktur senam di Kabupaten Kendal. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah Video praktik mengajar Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat, agar instruktur yang dihasilkan dari LKP benar-benar berkualitas dan mempunyai skill keterampilan untuk dapat bersaing.

Abstract

Background: Rhythmic gymnastics plays a vital role in developing students' motor skills, coordination, and rhythm, yet many still face challenges in mastering movement concepts. Objectives: This study compared the effectiveness of Peer Teaching and Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning models in improving rhythmic gymnastics learning outcomes. Methods: A quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest–posttest was conducted on 68 eighth-grade students (male and female) at State Junior High School 4 Semarang, divided into Peer Teaching (n=34) and TPS (n=34) groups. Learning outcomes were assessed using a validated rhythmic gymnastics performance test, and data were analyzed descriptively with gain score calculation. Results: The TPS group achieved a greater improvement in posttest scores (from 67.21 to 79.59; +18.41%) compared to the Peer Teaching group (from 79.18 to 79.85; +0.85%). These results indicate that TPS enhances students' understanding, coordination, and engagement in rhythmic gymnastics learning. Conclusions: TPS is recommended for physical education teachers to improve performance, particularly for students with lower initial skills. Further studies should explore its long-term effects and retention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of jump shot and bank shot training on free-throw accuracy in the basketball extracurricular program at SMPN 4 Semarang. The research employed a quantitative experimental method using a pretest-posttest two-group design. The subjects consisted of 28 students who actively participated in the basketball extracurricular activity, divided into two treatment groups. The first group received jump shot training, while the second group received bank shot training. The instrument used was a free-throw accuracy test conducted over 10 trials, both before and after the training sessions. The data were analysed using a paired sample t-test, which yielded a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). This indicates that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of jump shot and bank shot training on improving students’ free-throw accuracy. These types of structured shooting drills are recommended as part of regular training programs to enhance the basic basketball skills of school-level players.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan publikasi dan promosi seni tari barongan melalui e-buletin. Permasalahan mitra adalah menurunnya kepedulian dan pelestarian kesenian tari barongan, serta menurunnya pementasan dikarenakan kurangnya sosialisasi. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan metode SL (Service Learning) dengan 5 tahapan yaitu observasi, penentuan solusi, sosialisasi, praktek dan hasil. Instrumen dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan angket untuk mengetahui kepuasan warga dalam menggunakan e-buletin. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah tingkat kepuasan warga dengan menggunakan e-buletin ini adalah tinggi yaitu 80%. Kesimpulan dalam pengabdian ini bahwa e-buletin terbukti dapat meningkatkan sosialisasi dan media promosi untuk melestarikan seni tari barongan. Dengan adanya e-buletin nantinya akan berisi tentang informasi tarian barong, lokasi akan di adakannya pertunjukan sehingga akan banyak penonton yang datang melihat pertunjukan yang akan diselenggarakan tersebut, antusias penerus kesenian tari barong meningkat.

Abstract

Negara Republik Indonesia merupakan Negara kesatuan. Negara kesatuan yang dipilih adalah Negara?é?á dengan system desentralisasi, kepada daerah diberikan kesempatan untuk mengatur dan mengurus rumah tangganya sendiri. Selanjutnya dikatakan bahwa pemerintah daerah menjalankan otonomi seluas-luasnya, kecuali urusan pe merintahan yang oleh undang-undang ditentukan sebagai urusan pemerintahan?é?á pusat. Terbentuknya negara yang pada dasarnya mensyaratkan adanya wilayah, pemerintahan, penduduk sebagai warga negara, dan pengakuan dari negara-negara lain sudah dipenuhi oleh NKRI. NKRI adalah negara berdaulat yang telah mendapatkan pengakuan dari dunia internasional. NKRI mempunyai kedudukan dan kewajiban yang sama dengan negara-negara lain di dunia, yaitu ikut serta memelihara dan menjaga perdamaian dunia karena kehidupan di NKRI tidak dapat terlepas dari pengaruh kehidupan dunia internasional (global). Dewasa ini, dalam kaitan kehidupan kebangsaan kita yang diliputi suasana kegalauan dan bayang-bayang akan ancaman keutuhan NKRI, maka diseminasi dan penanaman nilai-nilai tersebut kepada khalayak melalui medium olahraga menjadi sangat relevan dan perlu. Kiranya sukar untuk dibantah bahwa bidang olahraga menduduki posisi strategis sekaligus unik. Abstract

More technological innovation in the tourism sector must be integrated with educational aspects and digital literacy, especially during a pandemic that limits physical visits to tourist attractions. Although several tourism applications have been developed, only a few have been specifically designed to improve digital literacy and visitor knowledge in terms of educational content and integration with the school curriculum. This research aims to create a virtual tour-based edu-tourism application that is packaged with virtual reality applications. This research is a research and development using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this research were randomly 250 teachers and high school / vocational school students. The data collection method was a questionnaire using an instrument in the form of an instrument sheet. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis methods. The results showed that the design of the virtual tour technology application received a very good assessment in the aspects of media, material, discussion, and display. This is also in line with the teacher's response, which assessed these aspects positively, with the highest score given to the media aspect, followed by the material, discussion, and display. This study concludes that the virtual tour-based eduwisata application packaged with virtual reality applications is effective in improving the literacy skills of teachers and students regarding eduwisata. The results of this study indicate that virtual tour applications can be implemented as interactive learning media that can improve student and teacher literacy in the field of edu-tourism.
