Abstract

This research aims to prove the novelty of research related to the implementation of diagnostic tests to improve computational thinking skills based on local wisdom using bibliometric analysis. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique uses secondary data in the form of literature from the Google Scholar database. Data analysis uses bibliometric analysis with the help of VOSviewer software. The results of this study indicate that the topics of Computational Thinking, Diagnostic Test, and Local Wisdom have not been found research with these topics, so there are opportunities for research by collaborating topics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the validity and reliability of the diagnostic test instrument used to measure computational thinking skills based on local wisdom. This method of research is instrument development research. The subjects of this research were students of computer science and information technology undergraduate programs at Bumigora University, totaling 108 students using a random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using tests. The data analysis technique of instrument content validity was determined based on Aiken's V formula, instrument construct validity using EFA, and instrument reliability using Cronbach Alpha. Based on the results of this research, the content validity of the instrument has a high validity index, the construct validity of the instrument items is declared feasible, and the reliability of the instrument has a high-reliability coefficient. So, this instrument is declared valid, reliable, and suitable for use to measure local wisdom-based computational thinking diagnostic tests.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of computational thinking and self regulated learning on computer programming problem-solving skills. The research used a quasi-experiment with a factorial design. Research sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The sampling of this study used a purposive sampling technique, namely students of Bumigora University, Indonesia. The data collected were in the form of tests with data analysis techniques using inferential statistics. The results showed the fulfillment of the prerequisite tests of normality and homogeneity with each Sig value obtained > 0,05. The paired sample t-test test in the control and experimental groups obtained each Sig value < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes in each control group and experimental group. The independent sample t-test test obtained a Sig value < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the computational thinking method and the conventional learning method. The independent sample t-test test obtained a Sig value < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between high and low self-regulated learning. Factorial ANOVA test obtained Sig value <0.05, so it can be concluded that the interaction between learning methods and self-regulated learning makes a significant difference in the ability to solve computer programming problems. The implications of applying computational thinking methods and developing self-regulated learning skills significantly improved problem-solving skills in computer programming, thus supporting the need to integrate this approach into curricula and teaching strategies.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendemonstrasikan langkah demi langkah analisis sistematis data bibliografi oleh VOSViewer. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja dosen dapat dipadukan dengan bidang lain untuk penelitian. Analisis langkah demi langkah disediakan untuk membuat pengguna pertama kali mengakses dan memanfaatkan VOSViewers dengan lebih mudah. Kajian ini menyajikan analisis data terkait kinerja dosen dan perkembangannya selama enambelas tahun (2009–2023) dengan memanfaatkan alat pemetaan di VOSViewer. Untuk mendeskripsikan kinerja analisis bibliometrik dengan menghasilkan visualisasi jaringan dari topik yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil pencarian, ditemukan 994 jurnal terbitan yang relevan, mulai dari tahun 2008–2023, yang kemudian dikelompokkan menjadi 15 kategori sesuai dengan tahun terbitnya. Setelah mengelompokkan data jurnal, penulis menemukan bahwa jumlah artikel yang paling banyak diterbitkan pada tahun 2017-2019. Ada banyak peluang untuk menemukan hal baru dalam topik ini. Selanjutnya, Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber bahan bagi penulis untuk melakukan penelitian dan mengidentifikasi topik penelitian selanjtunya.

Abstract

Ruang lingkup manajemen pendidikan hingga saat ini masih menjadi salah satu topik yang penting untuk dikaji, dengan keberagaman kajian yang ada diperlukan data penelitian manajemen pendidikan yang belum banyak dikaji sehingga dapat menjadi referensi dalam menentukan penelitian selanjutnya.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi tren penelitian manajemen pendidikan selama 10 tahun terakhir. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi tren penelitian adalah kajian literatur melalui analisis bibliometrik. Hasil analisis bibliometrik mengidentifikasi peneitian inti atau penulis, serta hubungannya, dengan mencakup semua publikasi yang terkait atau bidang tertentu. Publikasi terkait manajemen pendidikan dari tahun 2013-2023 diambil dari jurnal internasional yang terindeks Google Scholar. Tren penelitian manajemen pendidikan divisualisasikan menggunakan program Vosviewer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tren penelitian manajemen pendidikan mengalami penurunan selama 10 tahun terakhir, hanya saja mengalami kenaikan pada tahun 2020. Terdapat 20 kluster Klaster 1 (23 item), Kluster 2 (23 item), Kluster 3 (20 item), Kluster 4 (18 item), Kluster 5 (18 item), Kluster 6 (18 item), Kluster 7 (16 item), Kluster 8 (15 item), Kluster 9 (15 item), Kluster 10 (15 item), Kluster 11 (13 item), Kluster 12 (13 item), Kluster 13 (12 item), Kluster 14 (12 item), Kluster 15 (12 item), Kluster 16 (11 item), Kluster 17 (11 item), Kluster 18 (8 item), Kluster 19 (6 item), Kluster 20 (4 item).

Abstract

Computational Thinking (CT) is an important ability in solving complex problems in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. This research aims to determine student learning outcomes in local wisdom-based computational thinking diagnostic tests in information technology research learning using CBT. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The sample for this research was 108 undergraduate students in Computer Science and Bachelor of Information Technology, Bumigora University. Construct validity estimation using EFA and instrument reliability using Cronbach Alpha. Data collection techniques and instruments use a two tier diagnostic test with CBT. The data analysis technique uses the average test. The results of this study show that the average student score on the local wisdom-based CT diagnostic test using CBT is in the high category. Thus, student learning outcomes in CT ability are high.

Abstract

Increasing teacher competence in learning informatics based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Computational Thinking in the Merdeka Curriculum is an important aspect in facing educational challenges in the digital era. The importance of increasing teacher competence in HOTS and Computational Thinking-based informatics learning lies in the ability to equip students with critical and analytical skills needed in the digital era. In addition, competent teachers can create an innovative learning environment, so that students are better able to face complex challenges in the future and are ready to contribute optimally in society. Therefore, the objectives of this service activity are 1) conducting training for STEM teachers (Informatics, Science, Mathematics subjects) in implementing Informatics learning. (2) Training in compiling HOTS and Computational Thinking based learning assessments, (3) Training in laboratory management.. This activity was attended by 20 teachers, laboratory managers at MTsN 1 Mataram. The results of this activity are proven: (1) STEM teacher competency training in Informatics learning, the average pre-test is 39% and post-test is 96% there is an increase of 58%. (2) HOTS and Computational Thinking assessment preparation training, the average pre-test is 60% and post-test is 94% there is an increase of 34%. (3) Laboratory management training, the average pre-test is 48% and post-test is 89% there is an increase of 41%. Thus, this activity has succeeded in improving teacher skills in utilizing information technology and applying it to the preparation of assessments in learning while improving the overall management capabilities of laboratory management.

Abstract

Di era perkembangan teknologi, kecerdasan buatan seperti ChatGPT (Generative Pre-training Transformer) telah muncul sebagai alat yang berpotensi mendukung proses pembelajaran serta pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan Computational Thinking (CT) terutama dalam konteks penulisan karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap CT. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 40 mahasiswa program studi ilmu komputer yang mengambil mata kuliah riset teknologi informasi. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap CT. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi ilmiah bagi peneliti selanjutnya yang akan mengkaji lebih mendalam terkait pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap kemampuan berpikir dan CT mahasiswa yang memiliki potensi besaruntuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to evaluate the implementatiton of the research class program at MAN 2 Ponorogo. The CIPP model was adopted as the evaluation model in this study. The sources of data information are vice principals of curriculum, vice principals of student, teacher of research, and students. The data in this study were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings showed that: (1) context, research class programs were very much needed to support the policy of establishing research schools; (2) input, the school had established a research class student selection system, and the provision of infrastructure to support program implementation; (3) the process, the research class service program ran smoothly even-though there were obstacles that hindered the running of the program (4) the implementation of the research class program had been achieved in accordance with the program's achievement criteria. Abstract

Computational Thinking (CT) is a thinking skill that is needed in mathematics education. CT-based mathematics education can train students to develop problem solving, analyze data, perform modeling, and train algorithmic thinking skills. This study aims to describe the visualization of bibliometric network mapping between keywords in CT assessment research in mathematics education and find recommendations for CT assessment topics in mathematics education that provide opportunities for future research. This type of research uses descriptive research with a bibliometric approach. The data collection technique used secondary data from the Scopus database. The data analysis technique uses bibliometric analysis with the help of VOSviewer software. The results of bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer found in the visualization network there are 5 cluster themes. While in the results of overlay visualization and density visualization, CT research shows that for the topics of assessment, instrument, mathematics, education there has not been much research done so there are opportunities for research by taking or collaborating these topics.
