Abstract

Learning media is one of the keys to successful learning in the classroom by improving learning activities to be more effective and efficient. Now the development of learning media is increasingly advanced thanks to advances in information technology. One of the information technology-based learning media that is currently widely used is Virtual Reality. The utilization of Virtual Reality learning media is very appropriate to use in classroom learning that needs to present real examples so that students can understand the material, so as to improve the quality of learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze how to improve the quality of learning based on Virtual Reality technology at Santa Ursula Senior High School Jakarta. The method used is descriptive quantitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that the use of Virtual Reality can improve the quality of learning in several subjects. The use of Virtual Reality has a positive impact on learning activities, such as learning to be more varied, fun, and interesting. In addition, students' interest in learning in class also increases, because they want to be actively involved in the learning process. However, the use of Virtual Reality at Santa Ursula Senior High School Jakarta is still not optimal. This is because there are still many teachers who are not mature in preparing the use of Virtual Reality media in learning, so the use of Virtual Reality has not been evenly distributed in all classes.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are the important matter in the learning process so that learning outcomes are often used as a determinant of success in achieving learning purposes. The learning outcomes achieved by each student will be different. This is due to several factors, one of which is related to student psychological conditions in the form of stress in an academic context. This study aims to determine the relationship between academic stress and biology learning outcomes of class XII students. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Bekasi City in the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used is a quantitative descriptive method with correlational studies. The sample used was 104 students of class XII who were selected through simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires and multiple choice test questions. The prerequisite test results show that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The result of calculating the correlation coefficient is -0.473 and is included in the medium criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant negative relationship between academic stress and the biology learning outcomes of class XII students. The higher the academic stress, the lower the biology learning outcomes of class XII students. The coefficient of determination is 0.224, which means that academic stress contributes 22.4% to the biology learning outcomes of class XII students.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan minat belajar dengan kecerdasan logik matematik siswa dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas x smk se-jakarta selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey korelasional. Sampel berukuran 344 siswa kelas X dari 6 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yaitu SMKN 18, SMK Averus, SMKN 59, SMK YPM, SMK Respati 3 dan SMK Borobudur, dipilih dengan menggunakan multi stage random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik penyebaran angket dan teknik tes. Analisa data dengan menggunakan metode analisis korelasi dan regresi ganda. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh minat belajar dan kecerdasan logik matematik secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika dengan analisa regresi ganda :Dari persamaan tersebut menunjukkan setiap kenaikan satu unit minat belajar akan meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 0.222 unit secara signifikan. Begitu pula setiap kenaikan satu unit kecerdasan logik matematik akan meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 0.464 unit secara signifikan. Lebih lanjut secara bersama-sama menunjukkan bahwa variabel minat belajar dan kecerdasan logik matematik dapat menentukan peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 76.4% dan sangat signifikan.
