Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence the Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning learning models have on the mathematical metacognition abilities of students at SMP N 17 Jakarta. While the research subjects were class VIII students, totaling 64 students with 32 students as the experimental class and 32 students as the control class. The implementation of this research is due to the fact that mathematics is still considered by some students to be very scary and has even become a very disliked subject, so teachers need to find a learning model that makes mathematics very enjoyable. This research method uses a quasi-experimental method where this method compares two classes that receive different treatment, the first class uses the Discovery Learning method while the second class uses the Problem Based Learning method. The research data obtained the average value of students in the class taught by the Problem Based Learning model which was classified as low, namely only 65, while the average value of students in the class taught by the Problem Based Learning model was classified as good, namely 79.938, thus it can be concluded that students' mathematical metacognition abilities in classes taught using the Discovery Learning model were higher than students' mathematical metacognition abilities in classes taught using the Problem Based Learning model.Abstrak:Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa pengaruhnya model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan metakognisi matematika pada siswa di SMP N 17 Jakarta.Sedangkan Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 64 siswa dengan 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dikarenakan bahwa pelajaran matematika masih dianggap sebagian peserta didik yang sangat menakutkan bahkan sudah menjadi pelajaran yang sangat tidak disukai sehingga guru perlu menemukan model pembelajaran yang membuat pelajaran matematika terasa sangat menyenangkan. Metode penelitin ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dimana metode ini membandingkan dua kelas yang mendapatkan perlakuan yang berbeda ,kelas pertama menggunakan metode Discovery Learning sedangkan kelas kedua menggunakan metode Problem Based Learning. Data penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada kelas yang diajarkan dengan model Problem Based Learning tergolong rendah yaitu hanya 65, sedangkan nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada kelas yang diajarkan dengan model Problem Based Learning sudah tergolong baik yaitu 79,938 dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan metakognisi matematika peserta didik pada kelas yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kemampuan metakognisi matematika peserta didik pada kelas yang diajarkan dengan model Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the keys to successful learning in the classroom by improving learning activities to be more effective and efficient. Now the development of learning media is increasingly advanced thanks to advances in information technology. One of the information technology-based learning media that is currently widely used is Virtual Reality. The utilization of Virtual Reality learning media is very appropriate to use in classroom learning that needs to present real examples so that students can understand the material, so as to improve the quality of learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze how to improve the quality of learning based on Virtual Reality technology at Santa Ursula Senior High School Jakarta. The method used is descriptive quantitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that the use of Virtual Reality can improve the quality of learning in several subjects. The use of Virtual Reality has a positive impact on learning activities, such as learning to be more varied, fun, and interesting. In addition, students' interest in learning in class also increases, because they want to be actively involved in the learning process. However, the use of Virtual Reality at Santa Ursula Senior High School Jakarta is still not optimal. This is because there are still many teachers who are not mature in preparing the use of Virtual Reality media in learning, so the use of Virtual Reality has not been evenly distributed in all classes.

Abstract

Peneliti melakukan penelitian ini didasari oleh tingkat kejenuhan siswa di  sekolah SMK S Binong Permai dalam belajar matematika yang terkesan membosankan dan menakutkan. Sehingga  Penelitian ini mempunyai  tujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan atau persepsi  siswa terhadap  penggunaan Quizizz sebagai  media penilaian  pada pembelajaran  matematika dikelas  pada materi persamaan kuadrat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif  deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 10 TKJ  yang berjumlah 35 orang ..Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang berupa pernyataan  tertutup untuk 35 siswa dan wawancara. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket kepada siswa  melalui Google Form dan wawancara dilakukan secara terbuka. Dari Hasil penelitian pada indikator kemudahan quizizz mudah digunakan dengan presentase rata-rata yaitu 92 , indikator penguasaan materi yang memiliki presentase tertinggi adalah pada pernyataan quizizz membantu siswa mengingat kembali materi yang telah dipelajari dikelas mencapai 84, indikator selanjutnya adalah indikator kepuasaan pada pernyataan quizizz  menurut siswa adalah aplikasi yang menyenangkan yaitu sebesar 93,14, sedangkan pada indikator keaktifan rata-rata presentase tertinggi terdapat pada pernyataan quizizz membuat siswa lebih aktif belajar yaitu sebesar 80, indikator terakhir adalah indikator  motivasi. Pada indikator ini pernyataan  peserta didik termotivasi untuk memperoleh peringkat dan skor tertinggi ketika menggunakan quizizz diperoleh data rata-rata sebesar 93,14. Sedangkan dari hasil wawancara,  peserta didik merasa senang dan semangat belajar  matematika mereka meningkat, selain itu pembelajaran  di kelas tidak terasa membosankan. Sehingga Persepsi Siswa Terhadap Penggunaan Quizizz Dalam Pembelajaran Matematika di SMKS Binong Permai  mempunyai  respon yang positif dan aplikasi quizizz dapat  menjadi salah satu  media pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk mengambil penilaian secara interaktif. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Researcher conducted this researched based on the leveled of boredom of students at smk s binong permai in learned mathematics which seemed boring and scary.  So this researched aims to determine students' perceptions of used quizzes as an assessment medium for mathematics learned in class regarding quadratic equations.  This researched used descriptive qualitative methods.  The subjects of this researched was 35 grade 10 tkj students.  The instruments used was questionnaires in the form of closed statements for 35 students and interviews.  Researched data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to students via google form and interviews was conducted openly.  From the results of researched on the eased of used indicator, quizzes was easy to used with an average percentage of 92, the indicator of material mastery which had the highest percentage was the statement quizzes helps students remembered material that had been studied in class reaching 84.  The next indicator was the indicator of satisfaction with the quizzes statement according to students.  was a fun application, namely 93,14, while the highest average percentage of activeness indicators was found in the statement that quizzes made students more active in learned, namely 80, the last indicator was the motivation indicator.  In this indicator, students' statements were motivated to obtain the highest ranking and score when used quizzes.  The average data obtained was 93. 14.  Meanwhile, from the results of the interviews, students felt happy and their enthusiasm for learned mathematics increased, besides that learned in class did not felt boring.  So that students' perceptions of the used of quizizz in mathematics learned at binong permai vocational school had a positive response and the quizizz application could been one of the learned media used to took interactive assessments

Abstract

Learning outcomes are the important matter in the learning process so that learning outcomes are often used as a determinant of success in achieving learning purposes. The learning outcomes achieved by each student will be different. This is due to several factors, one of which is related to student psychological conditions in the form of stress in an academic context. This study aims to determine the relationship between academic stress and biology learning outcomes of class XII students. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Bekasi City in the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used is a quantitative descriptive method with correlational studies. The sample used was 104 students of class XII who were selected through simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires and multiple choice test questions. The prerequisite test results show that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The result of calculating the correlation coefficient is -0.473 and is included in the medium criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant negative relationship between academic stress and the biology learning outcomes of class XII students. The higher the academic stress, the lower the biology learning outcomes of class XII students. The coefficient of determination is 0.224, which means that academic stress contributes 22.4% to the biology learning outcomes of class XII students.
