Abstract

Learning media is designed to improve the efficiency of teaching and learning activities. The performance of learning media that has been developed needs further research with the aim of knowing the level of effectiveness. This study emphasized to determine the effectiveness of using megasus game learning media based on android with a focus on straight line equation material. This research was conducted in August 2023 in the odd semester of the beginning of the school year to class VIII students of SMPIT Alam Permata Probolinggo, with straight line equation material that had not been taught to the class. In the research flow, a data normality test was carried out using the shapiro-wilk method, where the pre-test significance results showed a figure of 0.286 and a post-test figure of 0.524 so that it could be concluded that the data was normally distributed. Then continued the normality gain test to determine the effectiveness of this android-based megasus game learning media with an average N-gain score of 0.4665 and an average N-gain percent of 46.6532%. Abstract

Ethnomathematics is a branch of mathematical study that was developed in a cultural context. This research aims to explore the concept of ethnomathematics in the Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta. The method used is descriptive exploratory with an ethnographic approach, which aims to explore information thoroughly to describe and analyze cultural elements in society. Data collection techniques include two types, namely library data collection through literature studies and field data collection through observation and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed using the data reduction method, which involves sorting, centralizing, and simplifying information. The results of the study show that the structure and ornaments of the Istiqlal Mosque Jakarta contain various flat and spatial structures, such as half-spheres, tubes, rectangles, and circles. Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to determine the characterizations of 2-primal ternary semiring using special subsets of ternary semiring. We use literature review method to achieve these aims. We define O^' (P) and O_P^', the special subsets of ternary semiring then we determine some properties of them. We also determine the condition for O(P) and O_P in order to the special subsets are ideals of S. The last, the special subsets of ternary semiring will be used to determine the characterizations of 2-primal ternary semiring. As the results, some the characterizations were S must be a commutative super nilpotent ternary semiring and O(P)=(O(P) ) or each prime ideal P of S. Besides that, O(P)=O_P=N(P) and O_P^' must has the IFP for each prime ideal P of S.

Abstract

In this paper, we develop a mathematical model for the transmission dynamics of monkeypox (Mpox) involving both human and rodent populations, with the human population including asymptomatic individuals. The analysis begins by establishing the well-posedness of the model using the contraction mapping principle, ensuring the existence, uniqueness, and stability of the solution. The model is further examined for the boundedness and non-negativity of the solutions. Three equilibrium points are identified: the disease-free equilibrium, the human-endemic equilibrium, and the endemic equilibrium. The disease-free equilibrium is shown to be both locally and globally asymptotically stable when the basic reproduction number is less than one. If they exist, the human-endemic equilibrium is proven to be globally asymptotically stable when the basic reproduction number of the rodent population is less than one, and the endemic equilibrium is always globally asymptotically stable. The sensitivity analysis indicates that vaccination and contact dynamics are the most influential factors in human transmission, while rodent transmission is primarily shaped by contact rates and mortality-related factors. Numerical simulations are provided to illustrate and validate the analytical results.
