Abstract

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic definitely has an influence on many aspects of life, including schooling. Various efforts continue to be strengthened in the implementation of this educational process so that educational goals may still be met throughout the epidemic. The government continues to issue policies in responding to changing situations. Educational institutions must be able to provide innovations that are consistent with pandemic policies. In order to establish bridges to the new normal, this research identified and assess policies, methods, and models for implementing education in the post-COVID-19 era. This study is a case study in the province of South Kalimantan, Indonesian and the State of California in the United States. The literature review or study research approach was employed.  The findings reveal that, despite a policy of allowing for limited face-to-face schooling, health protocols in Kalimantan were still strictly enforced. Meanwhile, in California, learning is performed entirely face-to-face, reducing social alienation, despite the fact that wearing a mask is still required. Blended learning was employed as an effective and efficient way to accomplish learning objectives.Adanya pandemi COVID-19 tentunya memberikan pengaruh pada banyak aspek kehidupan, termasuk sekolah. Berbagai upaya terus dikuatkan dalam pelaksanaan proses pendidikan ini agar tujuan pendidikan tetap dapat terpenuhi sepanjang masa wabah ini. Pemerintah terus mengeluarkan kebijakan dalam menanggapi situasi yang berubah. Lembaga pendidikan harus mampu memberikan inovasi yang sejalan dengan kebijakan pandemi. Dalam rangka menjembatani new normal, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan mengkaji kebijakan, metode, dan model penyelenggaraan pendidikan di era pasca-COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus di provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, Indonesia dan Negara Bagian California di Amerika Serikat. Tinjauan literatur atau pendekatan penelitian studi digunakan. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa, meskipun ada kebijakan yang mengizinkan sekolah tatap muka terbatas, protokol kesehatan di Kalimantan masih ditegakkan dengan ketat. Sementara itu, di California, pembelajaran dilakukan sepenuhnya dengan tatap muka, mengurangi keterasingan sosial, meskipun penggunaan masker tetap diperlukan. Blended learning digunakan sebagai cara yang efektif dan efisien untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk pengoptimalan Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) dasar sebagai bentuk kepedulian budaya sehat warga sekolah. Perlu sebuah tindakan di masa pandemi Covid-19 saat ini yang menjadi bentuk keprihatinan dalam kesehatan pada semua warga sekolah khususnya para peserta didik-siswi dalam menjaga kesehatan pasca Covid-19. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam pengoptimalan fungsi Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) melalui; (1) Sosialisasi peran usaha kesehatan sekolah tingkat dasar; (2) pembentukan kader tenaga medis tingkat sekolah dasar; (3) pelatihan kader tenaga medis tingkat sekolah dasar; (4) penyuluhan program kerja UKS di sekolah; (5) pelatihan pembuatan administrasi sederhana. Hasil Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menemukan adanya masalah yang dihadapi guru terkait optimalisasi fungsi usaha kesehatan sekolah (UKS) dalam meningkatkan budaya hidup sehat warga sekolah dan perubahan paradigma terkait pentingnya fungsi UKS. Terdapat peningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru terkait dengan pentingnya UKS diperlukan peningkatan SDM melalui kegiatan diklat dan non-diklat. Pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pentingnya tanaman-tanaman yang dapat dijadikan obat herbal di era pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan UKS penting bagi upaya kesehatan sekolah, sehingga perlu dilakukan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the development of information technology in the field of management accounting. The method used is descriptive qualitative research methods and library research methods. The results of this study include the development of information technology that has brought important changes to the business world. There are many types of information systems that use emerging information technologies, including electronic data processing systems, data processing systems (DPS), decision support systems (DSS), data processing systems, management information (MIS), executive information systems (EIS), expert system (ES)) and Accounting Information System (AIS). The development of information technology has also influenced the field of management accounting because it is a field where information is generated in the context of management planning, control, and decision making. These impacts can be beneficial or detrimental to the business.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the management of education financing in Islamic Universities in South Kalimantan. This research is in the form of descriptive qualitative with a library research data collection approach. The focus of this research will be to observe how the management of education financing in Islamic Universities throughout South Kalimantan, which consists of 13 educational institutions, both public and private categories. The results of this research show that the Covid-19 pandemic cannot be denied, causing the dropout rate to soar, due to the inability of students to pay their tuition fees. However, several campuses in South Kalimantan provide a policy of cutting payments and delaying payments so that students can continue to carry out the education process well. The financial management of Islamic higher education institutions in South Kalimantan during the Covid-19 pandemic has been carried out as effectively as possible. This is to maintain accountability and transparency to get good grades before getting cross-subsidy funds from the Government. The conclusions of this study are: the impact of Covid-19 has a very significant effect on education financing at Private Islamic Colleges in South Kalimantan but not at State Islamic campuses and the management of education financing amid the Covid-19 pandemic should be carried out very strictly.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the concepts of Islamic education management concepts of the Al-Quran and Al-Hadis perspectives. The research method for this scientific article is to use the library research method. The results of this study are that Islamic education management is an activity to mobilize and integrate all Islamic education resources in order to achieve the goals of Islamic education that have been set previously. The resources that are mobilized and combined to achieve these educational goals of the course include the so-called 3 M (human, money, and material), and all of them are not only limited to schools/madrasahs or leaders of Islamic universities. The conclusion of this research is in Islamic Education Management, but planning is also the main key to determining the next activity. Without careful planning, other activities will not run well and can even fail. Therefore, plan as carefully as possible in order to achieve satisfactory success.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine parents' perceptions of education funding for boss funds at SDN Basirih 1 Banjarmasin. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The data sources in this study are parents, principals, school committees and supervisors who are taken through interview and documentation techniques. The research instruments used in this study include researchers and interview guidelines. The analysis technique used is the technique of analyzing and interpreting research data using the Miles and Huberman analysis model through three stages, namely; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that parents' perceptions of BOS funding education financing at SDN Basirih 1 Banjarmasin. Based on the results of the data obtained, parents' perceptions of BOS fund education financing at SDN Basirih 1 Banjarmasin, parents are very enthusiastic in responding to the policies issued by the government, namely the nine-year compulsory education program, both in terms of opinions, responses, and assessments of parents are very positive towards BOS fund education financing, this shows that the BOS fund education financing program is very helpful. Also, the implementation of BOS funding education financing at SDN Basirih 1 Banjarmasin, starting from the planning to the implementation stage, always includes all elements of the community to provide input to the school as well as oversee the implementation of the financing

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the education management strategies implemented by Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) in facing the challenges of globalization. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data analysis techniques through in-depth interviews with three informants, namely the Rector of ULM, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Lecturer in Education Management. The interview results show that ULM has adopted several relevant strategies in responding to global changes. ULM realizes the importance of adaptation to global changes by implementing technology-based strategies and international collaboration. Overseas exchange and internship programs are an important part of ULM's efforts in empowering students with international learning experiences. The Faculty of Education at ULM continuously evaluates and updates the curriculum to ensure relevance and responsiveness to the needs of the job market influenced by globalization. In addition, ULM lecturers strive to improve teaching skills, integrate technology in learning, and facilitate students in developing creativity and adaptability to real-world situations. In conclusion, ULM has had relevant strategic measures in facing the challenges of globalization and strives to create graduates who are ready to compete at the international level.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to explore the influence of education financing, including scholarship programs and financial aid, on student academic achievement at ULM. The study utilizes in-depth interviews as the primary method for data collection. Students' experiences and perceptions regarding the impact of financial support on their education are gathered through these interviews. Thematic analysis is employed to identify key themes and patterns in the qualitative data. The findings reveal a significant positive correlation between education financing and academic achievement at ULM, as perceived by the students. Students who receive financial assistance through scholarships and aid programs tend to perform better academically, as it alleviates financial burdens and allows them to focus on their studies. These results underscore the pivotal role of education financing in shaping student success at ULM, as perceived by the interviewed students.
