Abstract

Performance is vital for organizational success, and employee work quality is essential. A decline in individual or group performance can significantly affect a company's effectiveness. This study, conducted at the Honda Sei Rampah Dealer beginning in July 2020, used quantitative data analysis to investigate the independent variables of dominion power image and employee work quality, with dominion power as the dependent variable. The study involved 45 employees (43 males and 2 females, aged 18–29, both single and married). Validity testing was performed using SPSS version 17.00, based on the calculated r values. Partial hypothesis testing assesses the impact of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The findings indicated a significant relationship between job motivation and employee work quality and that dominion power had a notable effect on employee quality. Future research should explore dominion power among employees, especially their resilience in challenging work environments, through encouragement initiatives. Examining colleagues’ relationships and implementing stricter regulations to enhance compliance and obedience may also be beneficial. To better understand the complexities of dominion power and its impact on organizations, future studies should incorporate more variables that could lead to improved organizational performance and effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how financial technology (fintech) services are utilized by university students to overcome educational financing challenges and how this impacts their academic continuity. Using a qualitative approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with students from diverse academic programs and economic backgrounds. The results reveal that students' understanding of fintech is mostly shaped by exposure through social media and peer networks, with varying levels of awareness regarding its functions and legality. Key motivating factors for using fintech include urgent financial needs for tuition, delays in paying educational fees, and the convenience and speed offered compared to traditional financial institutions. While fintech provides a flexible alternative for educational funding, some students experience psychological stress due to debt burdens and limited skills in managing their finances. On the other hand, several students feel supported and financially more independent through fintech use. This research highlights the importance of collaboration among universities, students, and fintech providers to promote financial literacy and to ensure secure and sustainable educational financing systems.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Organisational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) in resolving conflicts within an Islamic educational setting. Conflicts are an inevitable aspect of collective life; yet, their management reflects the maturity and solidarity of an organisation. The research aims to identify and describe how OCB contributes to effective conflict management in maintaining organisational harmony. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through purposive and snowball sampling, with observations, interviews, and document analysis. The data were analysed using an inductive conceptualisation approach to capture patterns emerging from participants’ experiences. The findings reveal that conflicts within the institution are generally situational and temporary, and do not escalate into latent disputes. The existence of organisational forums, a tradition of deliberation, and the strong leadership role of spiritual figures ensure that conflict management operates effectively. Furthermore, collective solidarity is reinforced through cooperative problem-solving and mutual agreements. OCB—manifested through sincerity, humility, loyalty, and faith in spiritual rewards—serves as social capital in preserving social equilibrium. The integration of spirituality-based OCB and deliberation-oriented conflict resolution fosters a resilient and adaptive organisational culture. These findings suggest that cultivating spirituality-driven OCB can transform conflict from a disruptive force into a constructive process of social learning and institutional strengthening.
