Abstract

This research aims to improve the numeracy skills of class IV students at SDN Peterongan on spatial building material through the application of the Project Based Learn ing Model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) involving collaboration between researchers and teachers as research partners. At the planning stage, researchers designa learning plan that includes learning objectives, material to be taught, activities to be carried out, and evaluations to be carried out. The Project Based Learning model is used as a student-centered learning approach through providing projects at the beginning of learning. The implementation of the Project Based Lea rning Model is carried out in 3 cycles. Observations are carried out to observe students' interactions, their involvement in learning, and changes in their understanding of comparison. Students' numeracy abilities are evaluated through evaluation scores. The research results show an increase in numeracy skills after implementing the Project Based Learning model. Learners show more active involvement in the project and there is interest. They also demonstrated a better understanding of spatial material, which was reflected in increased evaluation scores. Based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers and schools consider using the Project Based Learning model in teaching spatial building material to class IV students. Collaboration between researchers and teachers is also important in developing effective learning methods. Further research can be carried out to involve more schools and classes in order to expand the scope of the research.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of students in mathematics subjects measuring the length of objects using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by concrete media for class I A students at SDN Sawah Besar 01 Semarang. This research is a type of classroom action research with research implementation consisting of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this research were 28 students in class I A at SDN Sawah Besar 01 Semarang. Data collection uses learning outcomes and documentation. The collected data is analyzed by calculating the average score achieved by students. The results showed that in cycle I, the average results increased. This is evidenced by an increase from pre-cycle of 62.85, cycle I of 76.78 and in cycle II there was an increase of 87.14. So it can be concluded that the results of learning mathematics on addition and subtraction material using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model (PBL) assisted by gestic media have increased and the results are satisfactory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan dari media Ican pada pembelajaran IPAS materi perkembangbiakan tumbuhan kelas 4 sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan Reseach and Develpoment (R&D) dengan pendekatan pengembangan model ADDIE. Adapun subjek penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas IV sejumlah 16 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, beserta angket. Hasil uji validitas oleh ahli media (93,75%) dan ahli materi (96,25%) menunjukkan hasil sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan diperoleh dari tanggapan guru media sebesar 100% (sangat praktis), tanggapan guru materi sebesar 97,5% (sangat praktis), dan tanggapan siswa sebesar 95%. Dengan demikian, media Ican layak dalam segi validitas dan layak diimplementasikan bagi siswa kelas IV SD.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan awal, ditemukan bahwa proses pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV masih menggunakan pendekatan konvensional yang tidak banyak melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar sebelum diterapkannya model pembelajaran yang sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui efektivitas model Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPAS materi tumbuhan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Gayamsari 01. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Designs dengan model One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 30. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal, dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi pretest 0,070 dan posttest 0,216 (keduanya > 0,05). Selanjutnya, dilakukan uji paired sample t-test yang menghasilkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar p < 0,001, yang berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil temuan ini, terbukti bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar IPAS sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya model PjBL pada hasil pretest dan posttest. Implikasi dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model berbasis proyek terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS materi tumbuhan pada siswa kelas IV di SDN Gayamsari 01. Guru disarankan untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa agar tercipta proses pembelajaran yang efektif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna bagi siswa.

Abstract

This research is based on the limited variety of learning models applied in educational practices in elementary schools. The main objective of this research is to ascertain whether the application of the Project Based Learning model helps improve students' learning outcomes. To obtain the data needed in this study, pre-experimental quantitative research with a one-group pretest-posttest design was used. The findings showed a significant increase, which can be seen through the comparison of pretest and posttest scores. The average posttest score was 85.95> from the average pretest score of 60.00. Furthermore, testing using paired samples test statistical analysis showed a t test value of 17.43 and a t table value of 2.086. This means that t count is greater than t table so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The average value of learning outcomes shows an increase and a significant influence after the application of this learning model. Therefore, the conclusion is that the Project Based Learning model is proven to be effective and capable of improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SDN Gayamsari 01.

Abstract

Character education is an important aspect that needs to be considered in the world of education. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Sari Satu program in developing the leadership spirit of fourth-grade students at Siwalan Elementary School. This study uses descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were the principal, teachers, and fourth-grade students at Siwalan Elementary School. Research data were obtained from interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Data analysis techniques in this study consist of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The Sari Satu program is a short-term leadership rotation that provides students with the opportunity to take on the role and responsibility of a leader. This program is able to create a real-life simulation where students gain leadership skills that can be applied in life through direct experience. This is in accordance with the Javanese expression, namely Memayu Hayuning Bawana, Ambrasta dur Angkara. The meaning of this expression relates to the responsibility and role of a leader. "Memayu Hayuning Bawana" means striving to create prosperity and beauty in the world, while "Ambrasto dur Hangkoro" means eliminating all evil and injustice. The Sari Satu program effectively develops students' leadership skills. Challenges within the program need to be addressed and solutions sought. The Sari program has the potential to be developed to shape a generation with character and leadership.
