Abstract

This study aims to analyze and test the effect of third-party funds, credit interest rates, and non-performing loans on the profitability of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2021–2023. The approach used is quantitative with hypothesis testing through multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were all banking sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2021–2023. The independent variables of this study are Third Party Funds, Credit Interest Rates, Non-Performing Loans, while the dependent variable is Profitability. This study uses a purposive sampling method in sampling. A total of 96 companies have met the criteria as observation units. The data used are secondary data obtained through annual financial report documentation. The results of the study indicate that third-party funds, credit interest rates, and non-performing loans have a significant effect on bank profitability, with all hypotheses accepted based on a significance value <0.05. These findings indicate that these three variables have an important role in determining the level of bank profitability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, likuiditas, arus kas, sales growth, dan struktur modal terhadap financial distress pada perusahaann sub sektor food and beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2022-2024. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif, penyajian data berbentuk angka dihasilkan dari proses perhitungan dan pengukuran. Populasi mencakup perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor Food and Beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2022-2024. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling ditemukan 59 perusahaan dan diperoleh 177 data observasi. Terdapat 4 data outlier sehingga total sampel akhir yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 173 data observasi. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dari laporan keuangan perusahaan melalui situs resmi BEI dan website perusahaan. Teknik analisa data yang diterapkan yaitu analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa secara parsial variabel profitabilitas, likuiditas, arus kas, dan struktur modal memiliki pengaruh terhadap financial distress, sedangkan variabel sales growth tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap financial distress.

Abstract

This article analyzes the influence of CAR, NPF, FDR and BOPO on banking financial performance (ROA) in Indonesia, which is the aim of this research. The sample selection method uses a purposive sampling technique at Sharia Commercial Banks registered with Bank Indonesia (BI) for the 2017-2022 period. The sample in this study consisted of 10 companies with a total sample data of 58. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25. The results of the study showed that the NPF variable had an effect on financial performance (ROA), while CAR, FDR and BOPO did not. influence on financial performance (ROA). The selection of research objects at Sharia Commercial Banks resulted in limitations in the number of samples in this research. Apart from that, the independent variables in this study can only explain 19.8% of the independent variables.
