Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan yang dialami siswa sekolah dasar dalam menulis kalimat. Siswa mengalami kebingungan mengembangkan ide menulis dan terbatas dalam menyusun kalimat. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis sederhana siswa di kelas II sekolah dasar dengan menerapkan pendekatan culturally responsive teaching (CRT) berbantuan media flashcard. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas II-B SD Negeri Jambangan I/413 Surabaya yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas melalui empat alur Kemmis dan McTaggart, yakni perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data dihimpun melalui lembar hasil belajar serta catatan lapangan. Perolehan hasil penelitian membuktikan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis sederhana sebesar 45 pada pra tindakan menjadi 63 (siklus I) dan 79 (siklus II). Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yang awalnya hanya 9% pada pra tindakan, selanjutnya berturut-turut meningkat menjadi 53% dan 89% pada siklus I dan II. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan culturally responsive teaching berbantuan media flashcard dapat meningkatkan materi keterampilan menulis sederhana siswa pada subjek pelajaran bahasa Indonesia melalui aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis budaya yang menarik, dan adanya dukungan gambar untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa sebagai bekal menulis.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in multiplication operations involving whole numbers and decimals by using the lattice method in Grade V at SDN Dukuh Kupang 1-488 Surabaya. The lattice method was chosen because it offers a systematic approach to solving multiplication problems, which students often find difficult. The research was conducted through classroom action research (CAR) over two cycles, involving 31 students. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed that in the first cycle, the students' average score was 67.50, with a mastery learning percentage of 58.06%. After improvements in the second cycle, the average score increased to 80.30, with a mastery percentage of 80.65%. This improvement in learning outcomes indicates the effectiveness of the lattice method in helping students understand multiplication concepts. Additionally, this method also increased students' motivation and confidence in learning mathematics. However, some challenges were encountered during the implementation of the lattice method, such as the time students needed to adapt and the lack of variety in practice problems. This study suggests that the lattice method should be introduced early on to help students grasp multiplication operations more easily, and that teachers should engage in regular reflection to enhance the quality of instruction. Overall, the lattice method has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in multiplication of whole numbers and decimals.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the learning outcomes of V grade students at SDN Dukuh Kupang I/488 Surabaya by implementing a cooperative script approach combined with pop card media. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with data collected through tests, interviews, and observations. The average learning outcome recorded in the pre-cycle was 57.57%, which increased to 64.10% in Cycle I. Additionally, Cycle II showed a significant improvement in analyzing intrinsic elements of fictional texts, achieving an average of 80.60%. Thus, it can be concluded that the students' learning outcomes demonstrated a noticeable improvement and met the success criteria.

Abstract

The concept of biomechanics is one effort that can be used by teachers to teach students related learning related to biology and mechanics. Biomechanics is an interdisciplinary field that applies the principles of physics to biological systems to understand how organisms move and interact with their environment. The aim of this research is to determine the application of biomechanical concepts in human movement systems to improve student learning outcomes at elementary school level. The research carried out is included in the PTK (Classroom Action Research) type. This research was carried out in one of the elementary schools in Surabaya with a total of 25 students. The instruments used in this research consisted of student and teacher observation sheets, student activity sheets during the cycle, learning implementation sheets, and pretest posttest sheets. The results of this research are that this is shown in the learning outcomes obtained by students with many showing improvement and achievement of existing criteria.
