Abstract

The waste management of agricultural commodities in traditional markets need serious attention as they remain because agricultural commodities usually pollute the streets and public spaces. This had a detrimental impact on both public health and traditional market image. By using the perspective of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the study was conducted to empirically examine the effects of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control (PBC) on the intention and behavior of separating waste in traditional markets. The research was conducted in a quantitative design. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. A total of 210 agricultural commodity traders in traditional markets in Semarang was taken as sample in this study. The data was analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results showed that attitudes, subjective norms, and PBC had significant effects on increasing intention in separating waste, which in turn would imply increasing the behavior in separating waste. The findings also report the mediating role of intention in strengthening the TPB constructs on behavior. This study emphasized the importance of establishing sustainable waste management and the connection between the behavior of waste management and to the adoption of a circular economy to make a more strategic impact to society and economy. Abstract

This article examines future mindedness among single middle adult women. In line with the dominant culture, most parents in Indonesia rely on their children for support in old age. Some women, however, choose to remain single and childless. This article focuses its exploration on the ways in which these unmarried, childless women plan and prepare for their lives in old age. Using the case-study approach and employing, as its theoretical framework, Seginer’s concept of future mindedness, we collected our data through semi-structured interviews with four women, aged 42 to 55, who served as research participants. After triangulating the data, we interpreted it using the thematic analysis method. Our study produced four findings. First, comfortable with being single, three of the four women had no desire to marry. Second, taking a positive view of old age, and knowing fully well that their kinfolk will take care of them in their advanced years, all the four participants do not worry about old age. Third, none of their relatives has put pressure on them to marry. Fourth, personality and family support appear to play a key role in these women’s choice to live a life of celibacy. In sum, unmarried middle-aged women are happy with their status and have plans for life in old age, including where to live and how to get elderly care.

Abstract

Hasil dari kegiatan Audit adalah mendapatkan informasi tentang pengelolaan data keuangan sebuah perusahaan. Informasi keuangan dari sebuah perusahaan sangat penting untuk memperoleh tingkat kepercayaan dari publik. Untuk menghasilkan hasil audit yang berkualitas, dibutuhkan auditor yang berkualitas. Kualitas yang dimiliki auditor harus dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Untuk dapat menjadi auditor yang berkualitas, terdapat beberapa faktor yang harus dimiliki seorang auditor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor kompetensi auditor, pengalaman auditor dan motivasi auditor terhadap kualitas sebuah audit. Penelitian ini di lakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengen teknik pengumpulan data melalui survey dengan alat bantu angket/kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah auditor yang bekerja pada 6 Kantor Akuntan Publik di Kota Semarang dengan jumlah sampel yang diperoleh adalah 46 auditor. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Sesuai dengan data yang telah dioleh, Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi auditor mempunyai pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kualitas audit. Untuk faktor pengalaman auditor mempunyai pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kualitas audit. Sedangkan faktor motivasi auditor mempunyai pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kualitas audit di terima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara parsial faktor kompentensi dan motivasi auditor memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kualitas audit dan faktor pengalaman auditor tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas audit.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pendidikan akuntansi, pelatihan akuntansi dan lama usaha terhadap penggunaan informasi akuntansi pada UMKM di Kecamatan Singorojo Kabupaten Kendal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seratus pengusaha UMKM di Kecamatan Singorojo Kabupaten Kendal. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seratus responden dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sensus atau semua anggota populasi diteliti. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Pengumpulan data menggunakan survei lapangan dengan alat bantu kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa tingkat pendidikan akuntansi dan pelatihan akuntansi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penggunaan informasi akuntansi pada UMKM di Kecamatan Singorojo Kabupaten Kendal. Lama usaha berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap penggunaan informasi akuntansi pada UMKM di Kecamatan Singorojo Kabupaten Kendal.

Abstract

The purpose of the product cost calculation training is to provide in-depth knowledge for home industry business actors in Gemah Village, Semarang in order to improve their business efficiency and sustainability. The method used in this training is an interactive workshop which includes basic discussion of production costs, identification of cost components, analysis of product cost calculation and interactive discussion and question and answer. The costs that affect COGS can be correctly identified through the calculation of the cost of goods because during its business this household industry has not included elements of direct labor costs, factory overhead costs, administrative and general costs and marketing costs, as a result the sales results obtained are too low. By using the full cost method, the cost of goods can be determined precisely so that business actors get the right seller results. With this training, it is hoped that household industries in Gemah Village, Semarang can determine the right selling price so that they can get decent profits and can be competitive.

Abstract

Wisata yang terletak di Desa Sumbersari, Kecamatan Kayen, Kabupaten Pati memiliki beberapa wisata antara lain Gua Pancur, Lorotan Semar, Bukit Pandang, dan masih terdapat wisata lainnya. Dengan adanya wisata tersebut sangat menguntungkan bagi masyarakat di desa Sumbersari untuk peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat, namun pengelolaan wisata tersebut belum dikelola secara optimal. Hal tersebut merupakan peluang untuk pengembangan wisata tersebut, dengan cara memberikan penyuluhan terhadap masyarakat dan pengelola wisata tersebut, sehingga menjadikan desa wisata yang inovatif dan kreatif. Peluang tersebut bisa diciptakan dengan memanajemen dan mendigitalisasikan wisata tersebut sehingga dapat meningkatkan potensi wisatawan di Desa Wisata Sumbersari, Wilayah Kayen. Metode pengabdian ini dengan memberikan penyuluhan serta edukasi kepada masyarakat dan pengelola wisata di Desa Wisata Sumbersari Wilayah. Kayen. Kegiatan tersebut terlaksana dengan didukung pihak kepala desa setempat dan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat menambah wawasan dan ketrampilan, serta mendorong masyarakat maupun pengelola wisata aktif untuk meningkatkan desa wisata tersebut.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memainkan peran sentral dalam ekonomi lokal, namun kebanyakan di antaranya menghadapi kendala dalam pencatatan keuangan yang akurat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan akunatnsi di kalanagan pengusaha UMKM di Kelurahan Mijen Semarang. Melalui sosialisasi, kegiatan ini memberikan panduan praktis tentang cara memahami dasar-dasar akuntansi dan menerapkannya menggunakan akuntansi secara sederhana. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan secara signifikan dalam pemahaman akuntansi di kalangan peserta. Pengusaha UMKM yang mengikuti kegiatan ini mampu memahami pentingnya catatan akuntansi, selain itu kegiatan ini dapat membangun komunitas diantara UMKM sehingga dapat membuk ajalan untuk kolaborasi dan pertukaran pengalaman. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini memberikan bukti nyata pemahaman akuntansi adalah kunci untuk pertumbuhan berkelanjutan di Kelurahan Mijen Semarang.

Abstract

Backgroud: The creative culinary industry plays a vital role in enhancing tourist destination attraction, serving as a cultural and culinary gateway for travelers. With growing awareness of sustainability and environmental concerns, it becomes imperative to investigate the development of sustainability strategies in this sector.Purpose: This study focuses on Semarang Regency, a burgeoning tourist destination, to assess the impact of sustainability strategies on attracting and retaining visitors.Design/methodology/approach: This quantitative research study was conducted with a sample of 250 respondents, comprising owners and managers of the culinary industry. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with WarpPLS 7.0 software.Finding/Result: The research unveiled significant relationships between sustainability strategies and tourist attraction. Environmental values were identified as a key driver, significantly influencing both cognitive and affective images. Additionally, low-carbon knowledge played a crucial role in shaping these images, highlighting the importance of eco-friendly practices and awareness in enhancing the industry's image. Cognitive and affective images were found to significantly contribute to the overall image of the sector, emphasizing their importance in shaping perceptions of sustainability efforts.Conclusion: These findings provide valuable insights for stakeholders in the creative culinary industry who are seeking to develop and implement sustainability strategies that enhance the attractiveness of tourist destinations in Semarang Regency.Original/value (State of the art): This study contributes to the understanding of how sustainability strategies can be effectively integrated into the creative culinary industry to boost tourist destination appeal. Abstract

Desa Blerong, Kecamatan Guntur, Kabupaten Demak, merupakan pusat produksi keripik dengan 16 UMKM yang tergabung dalam Paguyuban Kampung Keripik. Meskipun memiliki potensi besar, pelaku UMKM menghadapi kendala dalam perhitungan harga pokok produksi (HPP), inovasi produk, dan pembukuan sederhana. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam tiga aspek tersebut melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi kebutuhan, pelatihan praktis, simulasi, dan evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta dalam menghitung HPP (80%), inovasi produk (75%), dan pembukuan sederhana (70%). Selain meningkatkan kapasitas individu, kegiatan ini mendorong sinergi antar-anggota paguyuban dan menciptakan inisiatif pencatatan keuangan kolektif. Implikasi kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan daya saing UMKM secara berkelanjutan dan menjadi model pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

In the digital era, social media has played a crucial role in influencing consumer behavior, particularly through the emergence of online shopping platforms such as TikTok Shop. The accessibility of online shopping has expanded to various segments of society, making it essential to understand the factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions on this platform. This study examines the impact of live streaming, free shipping vouchers, and promotions on consumer purchase decisions within the TikTok Shop ecosystem. The research was conducted among undergraduate students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at UNTAG Semarang who actively use the live streaming feature on TikTok Shop. A total of 77 respondents, aged between 20 and 25 years, were selected as the study sample. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to determine the significance of each factor. The findings indicate that live streaming, free shipping vouchers, and promotions each significantly and positively impact consumer purchase decisions. The significance test results demonstrate that increased engagement with live streaming directly enhances consumer trust and understanding of the products, leading to higher purchase intentions. Additionally, attractive promotions and free shipping vouchers serve as strong incentives, encouraging consumers to complete transactions. The implications of this study highlight the importance for businesses to leverage live streaming, offer free shipping vouchers, and implement effective promotional strategies. These efforts can enhance purchase decisions among undergraduate students at UNTAG Semarang and foster greater consumer satisfaction and loyalty towards products sold on TikTok Shop.
