Abstract

Law students at Syiah Kuala University (USK) face significant challenges in planning their careers, mainly due to a lack of understanding of career opportunities in the legal field and limited access to career counseling services. This condition often results in uncertainty in career decision-making, which has an impact on anxiety and academic performance. This community service activity aims to provide a solution through the implementation of a structured career counseling program. The method used is descriptive quantitative research which includes individual counseling sessions and assessments using inventory tests, in the form of The Student Career Construction Inventory (SCCI), Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ) and Color Personality Test. The results of this community service activity indicate that some students gain increased knowledge and understanding related to the career they want to achieve. In addition, there are mental health conditions and personalities that also show a relationship with the need for career counseling in students.

Abstract

Mahasiswa di pendidikan tinggi sering kali menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola waktu, yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas akademik, stres, dan perilaku prokrastinasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas pelatihan manajemen waktu dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan waktu mahasiswa, sehingga diharapkan dapat mendorong produktivitas akademik dan mengurangi prokrastinasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen one-group pretest-posttest dengan melibatkan 15 mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam manajemen waktu. Intervensi dilakukan melalui pelatihan manajemen waktu yang mencakup sesi psikoedukasi dan latihan praktis menggunakan Eisenhower Matrix dan daily planner. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan Time Management Behavior Scale (TMBS) serta penilaian tiga level: reaksi, pembelajaran, dan perilaku. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan manajemen waktu, dengan skor median posttest (50) lebih tinggi dibandingkan pretest (44). Aspek penetapan prioritas, perencanaan, dan pengendalian waktu juga mengalami peningkatan. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pengelolaan waktu mahasiswa, yang berdampak positif terhadap produktivitas akademik dan pengurangan stres. Temuan ini memberikan dasar penting bagi pengembangan intervensi manajemen waktu di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.
