Abstract

The Student Service Information System is defined as a system designed to assist students, faculty, and administration at Tadulako University's Faculty of Engineering in managing various academic aspects. This research identifies issues or obstacles users face while utilizing the website. The usability evaluation employs the Heuristic Evaluation method and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Based on the research conducted with 100 respondents, all active students at Tadulako University, the usability measurements revealed significant findings. According to the Heuristic Evaluation method, which utilizes 10 principles, areas requiring improvement were identified in qualifications B1.2, B3.3, B8.2, B10.2, and B10.3. Recommendations for enhancements include adding a notification feature, ensuring the search function is easily discoverable, selecting appropriate color combinations, and improving the placement of the user guide. The System Usability Scale yielded a score of 50, categorizing the website as "OK" on the adjective scale, "D" on the grade scale, and "Marginal" on the acceptability scale, with a net promoter score indicating a "Passive" reception.

Abstract

This study addresses the usability challenges faced by Tadulako University's MBKM & Academic Services Information System (SITAMPAN), developed in response to the Ministry of Education’s Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative. By applying a structured Design Thinking approach, this research seeks to present a novel solution for enhancing user experience and system usability in educational information systems. Through the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) evaluations, initial findings indicated a low usability score (SUS: 41.75, grade "F"), categorizing the system as a "Detractor" in the Net Promoter Score (NPS) framework. Following the implementation of user centered design improvements, the SUS score increased substantially to 86.25 ("A" grade), with NPS shifting to a "Promoter" classification, while UEQ scores showed marked improvement across all metrics. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of Design Thinking in systematically addressing and optimizing the user experience, providing valuable insights for future information system developments in educational contexts.

Abstract

Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah memiliki letak yang berdekatan dengan garis khatulistiwa, hal ini dapat mempengaruhi perubahan iklim didaerah tersebut salah satunya curah hujan. Perubahan curah hujan yang tidak menentu mengakibatkan timbulnya bencana seperti banjir yang dapat mempengaruhi gerak aktivitas masyarakat sehari-hari. Salah satu hal yang perlu dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi dengan prediksi cuaca. Pemanfaatan metode data mining dapat membantu dalam melakukan prediksi serta akurasi data dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan dataset BMKG di Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah yang dikumpulkan dari 1 Januari 2019 sampai 31 Oktober 2023 serta klasifikasi dibagi menjadi 5 kelas menggunakan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Tujuan penelitian ini memperoleh informasi dengan mengelompokkan data guna memprediksi curah hujan di BMKG Sulawesi Tengah. Hasil evaluasi menujukan bahwa nilai K = 23 dengan akurasi sebesar 83,0%, dan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) memiliki kinerja yang cukup baik dalam melakukan klasifikasi cuaca.

Abstract

Usability merupakan apsek penting dalam mengukur kualitas sebuah sistem. Tingkat Usability sangat dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman pengguna dimana hal ini dapat diukur dengan menilai seberapa cepat dan mudah pengguna mempelajari serta menyelesaikan tugas. Evaluasi usability dikategorikan menjadi pendekatan empiris dan non-empiris. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi tingkat usability Sistem Informasi MBKM  dengan pendekatan empiris menggabungkan system usability scale (SUS) dan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) sehingga evaluasi yang dilakukan tidak hanya mengukur tingkat usability sebuah sistem namun juga dapat mengidentifikasi  masalah usability berdasarkan aspek pengalaman pengguna. Hasil evaluasi menggunakan SUS menunjukan skor SUS Sistem Informasi MBKM berada pada angka 63 menunjukan skor SUS untuk tingkat adjective scale  pada kategori “OK”, grade scale kategori “C-”, serta acceptability scale berada pada kategori “MARGINAL” dengan net promoter scores kategori “Passive”.  Hasil pengukuran menggunakan UEQ yang telah diadaptasi menunjukan aspek attractiveness (1.20), perspicuity (1.49), efficiency (1.06), stimulation (1.14), dan novelty (0.82) mendapatkan evaluasi positif di atas rata-rata sedangkan aspek dependability (0.88) mendapatkan evaluasi positif namun di bawah rata-rata. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan dan non-empiris dengan melibatkan para ahli (evaluator) untuk menilai tingkat kegunaan serta ngidentifikasi letak masalah dari sebuah sistem

Abstract

This study aims to segment donors using the Recency, Frequency, Monetary (RFM) model and the K-Means algorithm to optimize fundraising strategies. The RFM model is used to measure donor engagement through three dimensions: Recency (the last time a donation was made), Frequency (the frequency of donations), and Monetary (the amount of donations). By utilizing RFM scores, donors are then grouped using the K-means algorithm to generate more specific donor segments. This study was conducted using donation data from a non-profit organization, focusing on strategies to improve donor loyalty and donation frequency. The segmentation results identified several key segments, including Loyal Donors, New Donors, Potential Donors, and Low-Priority Donors. Each segment exhibits different donation behavior characteristics and requires a different strategic approach. The implementation of these segmentation results is expected to help the organization design more effective communication strategies and donation programs, as well as improve donor retention and lifetime value. Additionally, this study identifies the potential for enhancing the analytical model for broader applications in the future. This research contributes to non-profit organizations by offering a more efficient approach to managing donor relationships.

Abstract

The digital transformation era has fueled enthusiasm for digital living among Indonesian society, driven by the surging use of internet and smartphones. The digital economy has unlocked new opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurship, significantly boosting national economic growth. In this context, MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) play a pivotal role as the backbone of Indonesia's economy, holding immense potential to drive national progress. The year 2024 has been designated as the year of digital transformation for MSMEs, with a target of integrating 30 million MSMEs into the digital ecosystem. Sigi Regency, with its 30,554 MSMEs spanning diverse business sectors, is a key focus for the local government's efforts to digitize the MSME sector, aiming to enhance product quality, services, and global competitiveness. To achieve this goal, an integrated web and Android system is proposed, empowering MSMEs to independently manage product data and business profiles, creating a digital gallery to showcase the Sigi MSME catalog.

Abstract

Technology facilitates the process of futsal field rental, such as payment queueing and real-time monitoring. An Android application has been developed to manage payment queueing and futsal field rental at Novega Futsal Court, addressing inefficiencies of traditional methods that decrease customer satisfaction. Utilizing Rapid Application Development (RAD) and First In First Out (FIFO) method, this application designed expedite and enhance the queueing process. Data was collected through direct interaction with respondents and on-site observation, while its development involved the use of React Native and Node.js. Testing results indicate the application functions as expected, enabling users to easily rent and pay, and assisting managers in efficiently organizing queues. This application enhances service efficiency and customer satisfaction, making a positive contribution to technology-based futsal management.

Abstract

Transformasi digital pemerintah menjadi fokus utama untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi pelayanan publik di Indonesia, sesuai dengan UU No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa dan Permendesa No. 7 Tahun 2021. Namun, penerapan teknologi digital di pedesaan masih menghadapi kendala, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan rendahnya literasi digital aparatur desa. Desa Watumaeta, misalnya, kesulitan dalam mengelola informasi dan memberikan layanan secara efektif. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, program “Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Implementasi Program Desa Digital” dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Technology Transfer. Program ini memberikan pelatihan intensif tentang penggunaan Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) untuk meningkatkan kapasitas teknis aparatur desa. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan materi pelatihan, pelatihan langsung, evaluasi, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan melalui pendekatan transfer teknologi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan aparatur desa, efisiensi pengelolaan data, dan pelayanan publik berbasis digital. Desa Watumaeta diharapkan menjadi contoh desa digital yang transparan dan responsif.

Abstract

This research focusses on discussing anti-bullying campaigns with various efforts to increase students awareness of the negative impact of bullying and to create a safe and inclusive environment. The main focus on this research, through educational and participatory approaches, is that thos campaigns is expected to encourage students to activly paticipate and preventing bullying behaviour among students at SMP Negeri 35 Makassar in the Biringkanaya district of Makassar City. The government’s policy in preveenting bullying among high students by providing clear guidelines for school and involving students in policy-making. Keywords: Anti-Bullying Campaigns; Educational and Participatory; Policy-Making   Abstrak Penelitian ini berfokus membahas kampanye anti-bullying dengan berbagai macam upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang dampak negatif bullying dan menciptakan lingkungan aman dan inklusif. Fokus utama penelitian ini melalui metode pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif, kampanye ini di harapkan dapat mendorong siswa untuk berperan aktif  dalam mencegah perilaku bullying di kalangan SMP Negeri 35 Makassar di kecamatan Biringkanaya, Kota Makassar. Kebijakan pemerintah dalam mencegah bullying di kalangan siswa SMA dengan memberikan panduan yang jelas bagi sekolah, dan melibatkan siswa dalam pembuatan kebijakan. Abstract

The oil palm is one of the monocot oil-producing plants in Indonesia. Sorting errors in oil palm fruit are caused by a sorter error when distinguishing the color of ripe and immature oil palm fruit. In addition to inefficient time, the area of oil palm plantations is also a factor that causes the sorter to make mistakes in sorting. This study aims to produce a system that can classify the maturity of oil palms based on feature extraction of characteristics of the hue, saturation and value (HSV) color features. The HSV method is used to produce color characteristics from the image of the oil palm fruit. Classification of oil palm fruit maturity is classified using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm with a dataset of 400 oil palm fruit image data with a data sharing ratio of 70% training data and 30% test data. 280 image data were used as training data, divided into 140 image data of ripe oil palm fruit, 140 image data of immature oil palm fruit and 120 image data of oil palm used as test data which is divided into 60 image data of ripe oil palm and 45 unripe palm oil. Based on the result of tests that have been carried out using a confusion matrix with varied k values, namely, 5 and 7, the average precision is 94.16%.
