Kesadaran masyarakat tentang ketertiban berlalu lintas dijalan raya, masih sangat rendah dan masih sangat memprihatinkan. Hal ini terlihat dari kejadian pelanggaran pada saat berkendaraan dilalu lintas, dan masih banyak yang terdapat penilangan dari pihak polisi lalu lintas yang dibuktikan dengan bukti surat tilang yang didapat oleh masyarakat. Kemudian selain pelanggaran lalu lintas banyak juga kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kepatuhan mengikuti aturan berlalu lintas yang baik sesuai dengan undang-undang lalu lintas. Sehingga banyak terjadi kecekalaan yang diakobatkan masyarakat lalai dalam mengkiti rambu-rambu lalu lintas seperti minsalnya tidak mematuhi lampu-lampu lalu lintas( menerobos lampu merah), tidak memakai helm standar nasional Indonesia dan tidak melngkapi kelengkapan kendaraan seperti tidak menggunkan spion dan mengabaikan lampu-lampu berkendaraan seperti lampu rem dan lampu sein tidak hidup atau mati. Bermula dari permaslahan diatas maka tim pengabdian tertarik untuk memberikan sosialisasi kepada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi supaya siswa dan siswi tersebut memahami betapa pentingnya memiliki pengetahuan dasar tentang aturan-aturan berlalu lintas sehingga terciptanya kesadaran untuk patuh dan tanggung awab terhadap aturan-aturan berlalu lintas sesuai dengan undang-undang lalu lintas. Ada pun tujuan melakukan pengadbia ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan awal atau dasar kepada peserta didik tentang aturan dan memahami rambu-rambu lalu lintas. Sebab pemahaman lalu lintas ini harus dimulai sejak dini sehingga ketika remaja atau dewasa dapat mematuhi dan memahami aturan dan rambu–rambu lalu lintas. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu memebrikan sosialisasi terkait tentang pentingnya pemahaman awal dalam memahami aturan dan rambu-rambu lalu lintas. Setelah sosialisasi ini diberikan maka siswa dan siswi SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi merasakan bertambahnya wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang rambu-rambu dan aturan berlalu lintas yang baik dan benar hal ini sesuai dengan tanggapan respon dari siswa terhadap sosialiasi ini yang menunjukan lebih dari 70 % siswa yang mengikuti merasa paham dengan pentignya memahami Aturan-aturan lalu lintas. Abstract: Public awareness of highway traffic order is still very low and very concerning. This is evident from the frequency of traffic violations, and there are still many people who are fined by traffic cops, as evidenced by evidence of a ticket obtained by the community. In addition to traffic violations, there are numerous traffic accidents caused by a lack of public awareness of the importance of adhering to good traffic rules in accordance with traffic laws. As a result, many accidents occur as a result of the community's negligence in following traffic signs, such as not obeying traffic lights (passing red lights), failing to wear Indonesian national standard helmets, and failing to complete vehicle equipment, such as not using mirrors and ignoring lights. Driving lights, such as brake lights and turn signals, do not turn on or off. As a result of the foregoing, the tim pengabdian is excited to offer socialization to the students of SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi, so that the students and teachers can understand how important it is to have a solid understanding of the laws of nature, so that they can develop a sense of patuh and a sense of awe in the face of the laws of nature. The goal of providing this service is to provide students with initial or basic knowledge of traffic rules and signs. Because understanding of traffic must begin at a young age so that teenagers and adults can obey and understand traffic rules and signs. This service's method is to provide socialization related to the importance of early understanding of traffic rules and signs. Following this socialization, the students of SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi felt an increase in insight and knowledge about good and correct traffic signs and rules, which was consistent with student responses to this socialization, which showed that more than 70% of students who participated in this socialization felt this way. Understand the significance of adhering to traffic regulations.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari tingkat pendidikan dan budaya hukum terhadap kepatuhan hukum warga Kota Jambi dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuatitatif dengan analisis regresi berganda yang dilakukan di Kota Jambi secara umum. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah kuesioner (angket) yang disebarkan secara langsung kepada responden. Berdasarkan analisis data yang elah dilakukan menggunakan model regresi ganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25, terbukti bahwa variabel tingkat pendidikan (X1) dan variabel budaya hukum (X2) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kepatuhan hukum (Y). Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari dasar pengambilan keputusan dari nilai p-value < sig alpha (α = 5%) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti variabel independen memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel dependen. Pengaruh yang ditimbulkan dari variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen ialah sebesar sebesar 0,147 atau 14,7%. Artinya variabel tingkat pendidikan (X1) dan budaya hukum (X2) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kepatuhan hukum (Y) sebesar 14,7% sementara sisanya sebesar 85,3% (100% - 14,7%) dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.

COMMUNITY ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT THROUGH THE SHARIA COOPERATIVE SYSTEM IN THE VILLAGE OF MENDALO INDAH. The weakening of the community economy is due to the fact that resource management is still partial and not yet systematic. Massive awareness is needed to build a strong economy so that it can face market competition. The purpose of this service is to realize the economic independence of the community through strengthening capital, increasing expertise and strengthening institutions. Empowerment of the community's economy is carried out by disseminating the Sharia Cooperative system, mentoring community financial management and processing businesses based on the syariah cooperative system. The object of service is the community of Arza Griya Mandiri housing in Mendalo Indah Village who are members of a business group. Through community service activities, community potential empowerment is carried out through a syariah cooperative system. From this activity, community businesses are formed which are managed based on a sharia cooperative system consisting of 17 members and having two business units in the field of trade and payment services for waste transportation. By raising funds from members 'savings, it is able to facilitate the development of members' businesses through capital loans. With the existence of business development based on the sharia cooperative system, the community gets additional income from the SHU share.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui probabilitas masyarakat Kota Jambi dalam melaksanakan hak politik pada Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) Presiden Tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ex-Post Facto untuk mengetahui peristiwa yang terjadi sebagai akibat dari faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang terdaftar sebagai pemilih pada Pemilu Presiden Tahun 2019 di Kota Jambi yang terdiri dari 11 Kecamatan dan 62 Kelurahan yang berjumlah 865. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik area sampling tingginya tingkat abstain di suatu daerah sebanyak 266 responden. Data diperoleh menggunakan angket dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan model regresi logit. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa tingkat probabilitas pelaksanaan hak politik masyarakat di Kota Jambi pada Pemilu Presiden Tahun 2019 dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh faktor pendidikan politik, budaya politik, sikap politik dan tingkat pendapatan. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap kinerja pemerintah, dan kondisi sosial politik serta jenis pekerjaan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat probalilitas pelaksanaan hak politik masyarakat di Kota Jambi pada Pemilu Presiden Tahun 2019. Diperlukan optimalisasi peran pemerintah dan pelaku politik untuk melakukan sosialisai politik di masyarakat dan konsistensi kinerja pemerintah dengan visi dan misi yang telah dikampanyekan agar mengurangi abstain masyarakat dalam Pemilu Presiden.

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the human development index between regions of Jambi Province for the 2010-2020 period. The measured factors are health, education, and economy. Health factors are measured by life expectancy. The education factor has proxy the length of school expectation and average length of schooling. The economy can be measured by expenditure per capita. The type of data in this study is secondary data, namely data obtained and collected indirectly from the object under study. The objects of this research are 9 districts and 2 cities in Jambi Province for the period 2010-2020 from the official portal of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Jambi Province. Data analysis through panel data regression. The finding of this study shows that life expectancy, length of school expectation, and expenditure per capita has positive effect on HDI among regions in Jambi Province. The findings can be used as material for consideration to identify various obstacles/problems faced by a particular area that has a high or low human index. After that, the government can make policies to increase one or more human development index factors that show a decline.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemiskinan dan pendidikan mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa di Provinsi Jambi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda, metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex-post facto. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang disebarkan kepada 277 responden pada area penelitian. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel kemiskinan (XI) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap partisipasi masyarakat (Y) pada sig 0,000 < 0,05 sedangkan variabel pendidikan (X2) juga berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap partisipasi masyarakat (Y) pada sig 0,000 < 0,05. Sedangkan secara simultan variabel kemiskinan (XI) dan pendidikan (X2) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi masyarakat (Y) dalam pembangunan desa di Provinsi Jambi. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari pengambilan keputusan dari nilai p-value < sig alpha (α = 5%) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti variabel independen memberi pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel partisipasi masyarakat. Besarnya pengaruh yang ditunjukan sebesar 22,9%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh sebab-sebab lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of political awareness, political socialization and mass media on the political participation of the people of Jambi Province in the regional head election. Political participation is a form of community involvement in exercising their political rights in general elections both at the national and regional levels. The embodiment of political rights will affect every decision-making related to the interests of the community. This study uses a quantitative approach that uses statistical techniques with PLS model analysis techniques. The study was conducted on the people of Jambi City as many as 100 people were selected based on area sampling techniques. The research findings explain that the mass media has no direct effect on political participation. Political participation is directly influenced by the variables of Political Awareness and Political Socialization. Therefore, it is suggested that the use of mass media in the post-conflict local election in Jambi Province needs to be improved, especially information related to the political rights of the community. The tendency that occurs in the community is more interested in obtaining information related to entertainment because people are still accustomed to listening culture rather than reading culture.

In consuming goods and services, consumers will shape their attitudes. Based on the observations made, there is a less positive attitude formed on consumers as seen by the majority of students who have and often switch to other providers, only 21.4% of students have a positive attitude by not switching to other providers and still using the provider they use. This study aims to determine the effect of consumer experience and peers on consumer attitudes either partially or simultaneously. This research is quantitative research, with an ex post facto method. The population in this study were 140 students of the Economic Education Study Program, FKIP Universitas Jambi, batches of 2017 and 2018, and a sample of 104 people were taken by purposive sampling with the characteristics of being a provider card user. The result of this research is that consumer experience has an effect on consumer attitudes about using provider cards. Peers have an effect on consumer attitudes to using card providers. The experience of consumers and peers has a positive and significant effect on consumer attitudes in using provider cards for students of the Economic Education Study Program, FKIP Jambi University. This study aims to describe the effect of financial management and entrepreneurial learning on the entrepreneurial intentions of students of the Entrepreneurship Student Program (PMW) Jambi University. This research is a quantitative research using the Ex-post facto method. The study was conducted on students participating in the PMW of Jambi University in 2021, as many as 86 business groups. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that either partially or simultaneously the variables of financial management and entrepreneurial learning have a significant effect on the entrepreneurial intentions of students of the Jambi University Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW). Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that universities pay great attention to entrepreneurship learning as a transformation of knowledge and coaching in fostering student interest in entrepreneurship. As prospective entrepreneurs, students are required to be able to manage finances as one of the keys to success in entrepreneurship.

Abstract: The development of technology in the field of education provides opportunities in the use of android as a learning medium. Android is a device containing an operating system (open source) based on Linux which is widely used as a learning medium in the classroom to make the learning process more effective and efficient. This study aims to determine how the development of android-based learning media in the characteristics of trading company materials class XII IPS SMAN 6 Jambi City as an effort to meet the demands of the paradigm and how the level of feasibility of android-based learning media characteristics of trading company materials class XII IPS SMAN 6 Jambi City according to media experts, material experts, and students. This research was conducted at SMAN 6 Jambi City in April-May 2022. The development of android media uses the 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate method. The research data was obtained using observation questionnaires to teachers in the field of economic studies as well as students, media experts and material experts. The results showed that android-based learning media material characteristics of trading companies for class XII IPS SMAN 6 Jambi City based on the assessment of media experts, material experts, teachers, and students were declared eligible or valid by obtaining a score of 119 ("very good" category) by material experts; a score of 92 (“good” category) by media experts; and a score of 116 or an average percentage of 97% (category "very good") based on student response questionnaires. From the results of this study, it is suggested that: (1) Students can use their cellphones more often for learning activities compared to other entertainment activities; (2) Teachers can use android-based learning media more often if there are limitations of learning media provided by the school; (3) Schools can further equip innovative or technology-based learning media facilities for economic learning; and (4) other researchers can test the effectiveness of this media on learning.Keywords: Android Media Development, Characteristics of Trading Companies Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis android materi karakteristik perusahaan dagang kelas XII IPS SMAN 6 Kota Jambi sebagai upaya pemenuhan tuntutan pardigma serta bagaimana tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis android materi karakteristik perusahaan dagang kelas XII IPS SMAN 6 Kota Jambi menurut ahli media, ahli materi, dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 6 Kota Jambi pada April-Mei 2022. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan angket observasi terhadap guru bidang studi ekonomi serta siswa, memberikan lembar validasi kepada ahli media ahli materi dan menyebarkan angket respon siswa. Setelah itu masing-masing data dianalisis baik secara kualitatif ataupun kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media android sebagai upaya pemenuhan tuntutan pardigma telah berhasil dikembangkan dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan 4D Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran) menggunakan beberapa yakni; software Java Runtime Environment (JRE), Powerpoint, iSpring Suite, dan Website 2 APK Builder Pro. Untuk kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis android materi karakteristik perusahaan dagang kelas XII IPS SMAN 6 Kota Jambi ahli media, ahli materi, guru, dan peserta didik dinyatakan layak atau valid dengan memperoleh skor 119 (kategori “sangat baik”) oleh ahli materi; skor 92 (kategori “baik”) oleh ahli media; dan skor 116 atau persentase rata-rata 97% (kategori “sangat baik”) berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan agar: (1) Peserta didik dapat lebih sering memanfaatkan handphone yang dipunyai untuk kegiatan pembelajaran dibandingkan kegiatan hiburan lainnya; (2) Guru dapat lebih sering memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis android jika terjadi keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang disediakan oleh pihak sekolah; (3) Bagi sekolah dapat lebih melengkapi fasilitas media pembelajaran yang inovatif atau berbasis teknologi untuk pembelajaran ekonomi; dan (4) Bagi peneliti lain dapat menguji efektivitas media ini terhadap pembelajaran.Keywords: Pengembangan media android, karakteristik perusahaan dagang
