Abstract

Existing literature, as well as empirical studies on Bancassurance, emphasize that there has been a shifting business in the bank from selling bank products to IKNB (Non-Bank Financial Industry). In this study, Bancassurance is one of the IKNBs that must be sold because the feather-based income is quite large and has a small risk because the bank is a referral as a distribution agent. The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics of Bancassurance in various countries for the first time in Indonesia so that our human resources are not unfamiliar with the insurance sold in banks and can adjust the strategy to market characteristics in Indonesia. This paper discusses Bancassurance with various methodologies ranging from Expert Judgment to Risk Management by involving 15 international journal studies related to the implementation of Bancassurance in various countries including Google Scholar, Elsevier, and Science Direct. This paper will be useful as a topic for further research where researchers can identify the effect of bancassurance on banking, risks that occur in bancassurance practice, solutions to sales strategies, and system bottlenecks that occur between bank sales and sales bancassurance. The result of this research is the reluctance of selling banks to sell insurance products because they do not understand the concept of life insurance and unit link. In addition, bancassurance sales resources placed in the bank are not as good as insurance agents in general due to different incentives, incentive problems, and bottlenecks in the sales execution flow also make insurance targets cannot be achieved optimally. The solution is that Re-skills must be done in the "Virtual Century" era because the insurance link unit has also shifted from offline meetings to online so that all systems are done digitally. Coordination between resources is expected to go through a digitization process so that customer claims are quickly resolved, referrals are quickly executed and periodic coaching can be carried out by prohibited branch heads/superiors. Bancassurance with unit link customization/personalization will be a new value proposition.

Abstract

The stemming process in text preprocessing can ruin the meaning of words in Bahasa Indonesia text mining, potentially influencing the interpretation outcomes or the accuracy of machine learning models when processing complaint texts. Many Indonesians deliver their complaints by text, making this an important issue. Therefore, this research proposes the Be Raw Language (BRL) method for handling complaint texts. BRL generally circumvents several words that, when subjected to stemming, undergo changes in meaning. To ascertain whether a word undergoes changes and as a basis for analysis, this study employs a sentiment analysis approach utilizing 6,205 complaint text data sourced from community reviews concerning tourist destinations. Initially, these reviews are labeled as ground truth, and sentiment calculations are conducted. In the preliminary stage, the research findings indicate an accuracy rate of 60.23%. Subsequently, this study conducts an in-depth analysis on how words in the Indonesian language may change in meaning with the addition of prefixes or suffixes. Consequently, the concept of the BRL method emerges to analyze words without employing stemming and to delineate its approach in interpreting words along with their meanings. The study establishes three main rules for interpreting the meaning of a word or even phrases in Bahasa Indonesia texts to enhance accuracy. As a result, employing the BRL method increases the accuracy rate by 17.57% to 77.80%.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pemanfaatan tanaman herbal di Baratajaya, Surabaya memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi lokal, namun kurangnya keterampilan teknis dan minimnya kolaborasi antar pengusaha menjadi kendala utama. Tujuan: Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan budidaya, pengolahan, dan pemasaran produk herbal serta menciptakan kolaborasi antar pengusaha. Metode: Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan intensif dari pakar ITS dan praktisi industri, diikuti pendampingan usaha berbasis sociopreneur kepada lebih dari 50 peserta. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam budidaya tanaman herbal serta pengembangan produk turunan seperti jamu dan minyak herbal. Kolaborasi yang terjalin meningkatkan skala produksi dan daya saing produk di pasar lokal. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan dan kolaborasi efektif dalam menciptakan ekonomi berkelanjutan dan melestarikan kearifan lokal, serta memberikan dampak positif bagi kesejahteraan ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat. Program ini memiliki potensi untuk diterapkan di wilayah lain.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the legal protection and regulatory aspects of the BirkinPet Harnessproduct innovation through a SWOT analysis approach, focusing on the role of industrial designprotection and regulations in maintaining competitiveness in the global market. The study employs anormative qualitative approach to examine relevant legal frameworks, combined with an empiricalapproach based on data related to the implementation of industrial design protection. The findingsindicate that BirkinPet’s key strength lies in its robust industrial design protection (score 1.350),granting exclusive rights to prevent imitation. However, weaknesses include the slow designregistration process in several countries (score 0.430) and inconsistent legal enforcement acrossvarious jurisdictions (score 0.705), which can hinder the protection of design rights.The primary opportunity lies in leveraging international agreements such as the Hague Agreement tofacilitate more efficient design protection across multiple countries (score 0.892). Furthermore,intellectual property protection features on e-commerce platforms provide an effective mechanism tocombat design infringements in the digital marketplace (score 0.816). The major threats identifiedinclude design infringements by international competitors (score 0.480) and emerging regulationsregarding pet product safety standards in various countries (score 0.450).This study concludes that strong industrial design protection, reinforced by international agreementsand e-commerce mechanisms, is essential for maintaining BirkinPet’s competitive advantage. Therecommendations include accelerating the design registration process and enhancing internationallegal enforcement to ensure more effective protection in the global market.Keywords: SWOT analysis, legal protection, industrial design, regulations, e-commerce.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kampung Oase Suroboyo merupakan sebutan untuk Kampung Oase Ondomohen, Kampung Oase Songo, dan Kampung Oase Tembok Gede. Tiga Kampung Oase saling bekerjasama dalam mengelola wisata perkampungan. Namun terdapat kendala untuk melakukan sharing produk UMKM karena jarak antar kampung yang relatif jauh. Untuk itulah dari tim pengabdian masyarakat Universitas Telkom kampus Surabaya berupaya membantu dengan membuatkan kendaraan modular ramah lingkungan yang bertujuan meningkatkan penjualan UMKM sekaligus kerjasama Kampung Oase Suroboyo. Kendaraan mirip becak yang didesain dapat digunakan untuk berjualan serta mengangkut orang maupun barang. Pada kegiatan ini transfer teknologi yang diberikan berupa pelatihan penggunaan dan perawatan kendaraan listrik. Dengan menggunakan kendaraan modular listrik penjualan UMKM dapat meningkat sebesar 52%. Selain itu penggunaan teknologi ini juga mendukung tujuan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan untuk energi bersih, peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan kehidupan di perkotaan.Abstract: Kampung Oase Suroboyo refers to Kampung Oase Ondomohen, Kampung Oase Songo, and Kampung Oase Tembok Gede. These three Kampung Oase collaborate in managing village tourism. However, there are challenges in sharing UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) products due to the relatively long distance between the villages. To address this, a community service team from Telkom University, Surabaya campus, has worked to assist by creating an eco-friendly modular vehicle aimed at improving UMKM sales and fostering collaboration among Kampung Oase Suroboyo. This vehicle, similar to a pedicab, is designed to be used for selling goods as well as transporting people and goods. The technology transfer in this initiative includes training on the use and maintenance of electric vehicles. By using the modular electric vehicle, UMKM sales have increased by 52%. Furthermore, this technology supports sustainable development goals related to clean energy, economic growth, and urban living improvements.

Abstract

Ruang digital yang semakin berkembang pesat mengakibatkan banyak peluang terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi, terutama dalam sektor bisnis. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi dalam bisnis adalah pemanfaatan digital marketing untuk mempromosikan produk atau jasa sebuah perusahaan. PT. Adam Djaya Teknik merupakan salah satu perusahaan konstruksi yang belum memanfaatkann digital marketing terlepas dari begitu banyak manfaatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar improvement yang akan didapat oleh semua aktor yang terlibat jika diterapkan digital marketing, yaitu website, pada proses bisnis promosi PT. Adam Djaya Teknik. Analisis nilai tambah digunakan pada tahap aanalisis proses, lalu perhitungan improvement dibuat berdasarkan hasil simulasi time analysis proses bisnis as-is dan to-be dari proses promosi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan focused group discussion. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa digital marketing dapat meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dengan sangat signifikan pada proses bisnis promosi PT. Adam Djaya Teknik. Manfaat efisiensi waktu paling besar didapatkan oleh calon pelanggan (90%), diikuti oleh pelanggan lama (85%), dan staf pemasaran (57%). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan terhadap studi kasus serupa mengenai pentingnya digital marketing sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu pada proses bisnis promosi sebuah perusahaan

Abstract

Abstrak: Di era globalisasi ini, berkembang istilah pesantren modern dimana kurikulum dan pengajaran mengikuti zaman khususnya terkait pengembangan minat entrepreneurship. Pada kegiatan ini, dilakukan pelatihan digital marketing berbasis media sosial pada salah satu pondok pesantren di kabupaten sumenep. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan awareness serta softskill terkait entrepreneurship. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan melakukan pelatihan dan praktikum dalam melakukan digital marketing via sosial media. Mitra dan peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah pengurus serta santri dari pondok pesantren Mathla’ul Amien Sumenep. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner ke para santri. Hasil evaluasi pasca pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan minat santri untuk berwirausaha sebanyak 35,29%. Selain itu santri memahami dengan jelas konsep entrepreneurship secara online khususnya pada sosial media. Harapannya, pelatihan ini dapat direplikasi oleh pondok pesantren untuk siswa lain kedepannya sehingga pesantren dapat mengembangkan ekosistem digital yang mandiri.Abstract: In this era of globalization, the concept of modern pesantren has emerged, where the curriculum and teaching methods keep up with the times, particularly in developing interest in entrepreneurship. In this activity, social media-based digital marketing training was conducted at one of the pesantren in Sumenep Regency. The main goal of this activity is to increase awareness and soft skills related to entrepreneurship. The activity was carried out by providing training and practical sessions on digital marketing via social media. The partners and participants in this activity were the administrators and students of Mathla’ul Amien Pesantren in Sumenep. Evaluation was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the students. The post-training evaluation results showed a 35.29% increase in students' interest in entrepreneurship. Additionally, the students clearly understood the concept of online entrepreneurship, especially on social media. It is hoped that this training can be replicated by other pesantren in the future, enabling them to develop an independent digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Event ”One Pesantren One Product 2023” mengajarkan santri-santri untuk menjadi pengusaha mandiri yang mampu melihat peluang di era globalisasi. Dari event OPOP 2023 dihasilkan Santri Digitalpreneur (Santridigipreneur) yang dapat mencetak para santri menjadi pengusaha dan marketer di era digital. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan revolusi digital peningkatan daya saing bisnis Santridigipreneur melalui eksplorasi aplikasi Virtual Reality yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan santri dalam berbisnis dengan melakukan roleplay khusus bersama tim sehingga pembinaan bisnis terasa lebih nyata meskipun dilakukan dalam dunia virtual (Virtual Reality). Selain itu dengan Santridigipreneur Virtual Reality, memberikan pengalaman yang signifikan dalam melakukan negosiasi antar-supplier dan stakeholder bisnis hingga kepada customer, kegiatan ini mengintegrasikan Pesantren dalam regional Jawa Timur. Dalam SVR : Santridigipreneur Virtual Reality ini, dilakukan pilot project untuk mengukur dampak pemanfaatan teknologi VR sebagai media pembelajaran kepada para santri di Pondok Pesantren Mathlaul Amin, Sumenep, Madura. Santri pada pondok pesantren tersebut diminta untuk memilih bidang minat usaha, kemudian mencoba menggunakan aplikasi sesuai dengan bidang usahanya. Teknologi VR terbukti dapat meningkatkan minat santri dalam belajar digipreneur, berdasarkan hasil VRSQ yang menunjukkan tingkat motion sickness masih dapat ditoleransi. Ke depan, kurikulum digipreneur berbasis VR dapat mulai dikembangkan dan diterapkan. Namun, ketersediaan perangkat VR perlu dipertimbangkan karena harganya yang masih cukup mahal.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Urgensi One Pesantren One Product (OPOP) di Jawa Timur dirancang untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan produktivitas santri melalui pemberdayaan kewirausahaan berbasis digital. Namun, keterbatasan dalam keterampilan desain komunikasi visual (DKV) dan pemasaran digital menjadi tantangan dalam optimalisasi potensi santri. Tujuan: Tujuan program ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan santri dalam bidang DKV dan strategi pemasaran digital melalui pelatihan Santri Digipreneur. Metode: Metode yang digunakan berupa lokakarya intensif, dipadukan dengan sesi coaching, memprioritaskan kolaborasi tim, komunikasi efektif, pembuatan konten digital, serta penerapan strategis platform media sosial untuk keperluan promosi dan branding. Hasil: Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kualitas konten yang dihasilkan, antara lain kemampuan desain visual dan strategi komunikasi pemasaran. Kerja sama antar santri meningkat, ditandai dengan penggunaan media digital secara terpadu untuk memasarkan produk pesantren. Kesimpulan: Program pelatihan Santri Digipreneur OPOP terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan daya saing santri di era digital. Inisiatif ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan keterampilan kewirausahaan, penguatan ekonomi lokal, serta memperluas akses pasar produk pesantren.

Abstract

In the digital era, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) face challenges in managing various distribution channels and adapting to constantly changing customer demands. PT Veteri, an MSME based in Surabaya that produces chewable gummy supplements for pets, encounters several business process issues, such as suboptimal workflows, slow customer response times, manual record-keeping, and excessive costs in non-core processes. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the business processes in the production and marketing divisions of PT Veteri using a Business Process Management (BPM) approach. The methods used include collecting quantitative and qualitative data, process analysis, designing a new business model, and measuring the impact after implementation. The findings show that by applying BPM, the company can redesign its processes to be more effective and efficient, particularly in terms of timeliness and cost efficiency. The recommendations include digitizing records, optimizing production flows, and improving customer-oriented digital marketing strategies
