Abstract

West Aceh Regency has been designated as one of the focus locations for integrated stunting reduction interventions in 2022 based on the Decree of the Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas. In 2022, West Aceh Regency recorded 610 children suffering from stunting spread across 11 of 12 sub-districts. Among the causes of high stunting is that the community is not provided with reliable information about stunting, and there are no specific regulations governing stunting prevention as a preventive measure at the district level. The research was conducted in two sub-districts, namely Johan Pahlawan Sub-district and Bubon Sub-district, which are the sub-districts with the most stunting sufferers out of 10 other sub-districts. This research aims to describe the dissemination of the implementation of stunting prevention policies along with the strategic steps taken in efforts to reduce stunting. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that policy implementation in an effort to reduce the prevalence of stunting in West Aceh Regency can be said to have run optimally. The strategic efforts undertaken to achieve the goal of reducing stunting prevalence begin with identifying problems, identifying target audiences, formulating educational messages, utilizing information media, intervention strategies through programs to accelerate stunting reduction, determining priority groups and using implementation methods by coordinating with stakeholders.

Abstract

Lecturers as educators at universities should speak according to the norms or maxims of language politeness as a form of providing an example for students in speaking politely. Therefore, this research aims to examine language politeness which is indicated in everyday conversations in the academic sphere, especially conversations between lecturers in universities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through observation and conversation notes. The data analysis technique consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research found that there are 5 maxims of language politeness that are carried out in the lecturer's room by lecturers in the Public Administration Study Program in daily conversations. The maxims found consisted of two maxims of generosity, one maxim of appreciation, one maxim of simplicity, one maxim of consensus, and one maxim of sympathy, while the maxim of wisdom was not found during research data collection.

Abstract

Stunting adalah kondisi anak mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan, sehingga tinggi badannya tidak sesuai dengan usianya karena masalah gizi jangka panjang, Salah satu penyebabnya yaitu kekurangan makanan yang cukup. Perbaikan gizi adalah salah satu cara untuk memerangi stunting. Untuk mencapai target penurunan angka stunting, perilaku masyarakat harus diubah.  Pemerintah telah mengambil berbagai langkah untuk mencegah stunting, salah satunya adalah Dinas P3AKB meluncurkan program DASHAT untuk mengendalikan stunting di Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur seberapa efektif program DASHAT di Kabupaten Aceh Barat dengan mengacu pada teori Van Horn dan Van Meter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, yang merujuk pada pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini ialah tentang efektivitas teori van horn van meter dalam pencegahan stunting melalui program DASHAT yang ada di Kabupaten Aceh Barat bahwa dari 6 indikator ada 3 indikator yang sejalan dan sesuai dengan teori van horn van meter dan ada 3 indikator yang tidak sejalan dan tidak sesuai dengan teori van horn van meter. Teori yang sejalan meliputi standar dan sasaran kebijakan, sikap para pelaksana, dan lingkungan social, ekonomi, dan politik. Adapun yang tidak sejalan meliputi sumber daya kebijakan, karakteristik organisasi pelaksana, dan komunikasi antar organisasi terkait.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan sikap peduli lingkungan pada siswa sekolah dasar di Aceh Barat melalui program literasi ekologi yang kontekstual. Aceh Barat merupakan wilayah dengan keanekaragaman hayati yang tinggi namun rentan terhadap kerusakan lingkungan akibat deforestasi, pengelolaan sampah yang buruk, dan dampak perubahan iklim. Program ini dirancang untuk membentuk generasi muda yang memiliki pemahaman ekologi, perilkau ramah lingkungan, dan kemampuan menjadi agen perubahan di komunitasnya. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas, pendidikan berbasis pengalaman, dan pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang melibatkan siswa, guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian simulasi edukatif, proyek daur ulang, kampanye lingkungan, serta pelatihan guru. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan lingkungan siswa dan keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan lingkungan ke dalam pembelajaran. Program iini juga mendorong pembentukan klub lingkungan di sekolah dan potensi adopsi kurikulum berbasis ekologi secara berkelanjutan. Dengan dukungan stakeholder dan pendekatan yang disesuaikan dengan konteks lokal, pengabdian ini berkontribusi nyata terhadap pelestarian lingkungan dan pencapaian tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan ekologi.

Abstract

The ease of communicating has an impact on the language used in social media, usually in influencer content on social media that can affect the practice of using Indonesian. Unknowingly, language content on social media affects language rules and new words are increasingly appearing. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the variety of languages in social media for the preparation of animated video-based digital dictionaries? And what about the meaning of language in social media for compiling animated video-based digital dictionaries? This study aims to determine the variety of social media languages and find out the meaning of language in social media for the preparation of animated video-based digital dictionaries. This is to make it easier for readers to distinguish meaning and distinguish standard language varieties on social media. The research method used is descriptive. The data collection technique is collecting various languages through social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Tiktok. Data analysis techniques include data collection, making animated videos, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The research steps include planning, implementing, and collecting reports. The results of this study are for the preparation of various languages of social media based on video animation. Based on these results will be explained in the form of qualitative descriptive.Keywords: variety of languages; social media; digital dictionary; animation video

Abstract

Pendidikan bukan hanya tentang penguasaan materi pelajaran, tetapi juga tentang membentuk karakter dan sikap yang akan membawa siswa meraih keberhasilan di masa depan. Kepemimpinan adalah salah satu nilai yang harus ditanamkan dalam proses pendidikan agar para siswa dapat menjadi individu yang tangguh dan siap menghadapi tantangan kehidupan setelah lulus dari tingkat pendidikan menengah. Atas dasar tersebut pelaksanaan pengabdian untuk menindaklanjuti itu dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi dengan menggunakan metode sosialisasi dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai uji tingkat pemahaman dan pengaplikasian nilai kepemimpinan pada siswa kelas XII di Sekolah MAN 2 Aceh Barat. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian tersebut, mayoritas siswa kelas XII baik dari jurusan IPA dan IPS telah memahami materi dan mampu menyelesaikan contoh-contoh kasus problematika yang disajikan dalam kuesioner ketika di akhir pemaparan materi. Hal ini menjadi modal penting bagi para siswa MAN 2 Aceh Barat untuk dapat memimpin dirinya sendiri dan mampu menghadapi berbagai probelmatika yang akan mereka hadapi secara nyata pasca menyelesaikan studinya di sekolah menengah atas.

Abstract

In facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, education is needed to form a creative, innovative generation. This can be achieved one way by optimizing the use of technology as an educational aid that is expected to be able to produce outputs that can follow or change the times for the better. The purpose of the socialization of the association of the industrial revolution 4.0 with education among students of Panga I Public High School is so that among students understand the connection of the 4.0 revolution with education, students can utilize technology for ease of learning. The process of conducting this socialization was carried out using the lecture and discussion method of the material presented. The lecture was conducted to explain the understanding of the industrial revolution 4.0, the benefits of technology, the impact of changes from the industrial revolution 4.0. The lecture method is combined with utilizing laptop and LCD media to display power point material regarding the role of students in facing the industrial revolution 4.0. The results of the socialization link between the 4.0 revolution and education where students were very enthusiastic in listening to the socialization so that participants from among the students understood the connection of the 4.0 revolution with education, so they could utilize technology as supporting education. Besides that the target participants of the socialization activities of the role of students in facing the industrial revolution 4.0 almost met the target of 30 students. This number shows that almost all students of the school participated in this socialization activity. Submission of material can be delivered properly through the use of LCD. Overall the objectives of the socialization can be achieved well.

Abstract

This study investigates how the SPEAK-BOT framework shapes group dynamics and collaborative interaction quality in EFL speaking pedagogy. Tthis study addresses the underexplored social dimension of language learning. Specifically, it examines how chatbot-generated prompts, when embedded in a pedagogical framework, influence turn-taking, elaboration, responsiveness, and cohesion during group discussions. A qualitative research design was employed with 20 third-semester English education students at Universitas Teuku Umar, Indonesia. The Students were organized into four small groups and engaged in structured speaking tasks that required consulting chatbot prompts as discussion starters. The instruments used in this research were an audio recorder for data collection, a thematic coding framework for discourse analysis, and a rubric-based scoring sheet to evaluate participants’ performance. The data were analyzed using discourse analysis and rubric-based scoring supported by descriptive statistics. The findings revealed a clear variation across groups. One group achieved very high interaction quality, marked by equal participation, deep elaboration, and strong cohesion. Two groups performed moderately, each showing strengths in some dimensions but gaps in others. One group demonstrated weak collaboration, relying heavily on chatbot output and producing fragmented discussions. The results suggest that the SPEAK-BOT framework has the potential to foster richer collaboration when learners use AI critically, but risks weakening interaction when prompts are adopted passively. The study contributes by reframing AI not as a substitute for peer dialogue but as a pedagogical mediator that can strengthen collaborative speaking pedagogy.
