Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to describe the formulas found in Kambing Jantan diary. The employed approach is textual analysis. The data unit is in form of the text collected by documenting method. The data is analyzed by explaining, comparing, relating, sorting, or combining with popular literary theory. From the previously completed analysis, Kambing Jantan diary has several formulas to construct itself as a comedy novel. The formulas are deployed in the diction (use of language), the topic of discussion selection, and the behavior of the characters. The type of humor is personal humor. By the use of bombastic slang, Kambing Jantan becomes a favorite kind of the new among the readers. In relation to this, the humor that is offered in Kambing Jantan tends to present itself as its function as a means of entertainment.Keywords: formula, humor, comedy, diary

Abstract

This research aimed to describe Paranggi’s in the national literary field. Data sets in this research involved texts and propositions of artists, man of letters, or journalists related to Paranggi. The data sets were collected through the use of documentation and interview techniques. Data were analyzed by describing, comparing, associating, sorting or combining them with the Bourdieu’s theories including arena, habitus, capital, strategy, and other concepts discussing cultural production field. In the national literature, Paranggi has occupied objective position as a consecrated and legitimated poet in his field. Such consecration and legitimacy have been based on the principle of specific legitimacy, i.e. recognition provided by a group of other poets that actually serve as his competitors. In other words, the recognition has positioned him in the art edge as an autonomous artist and not positioned based on the principle of dominant and popular legitimacy. Paranggi has been consistently involved in the field of limited production or the so called high level art. In such a competition, he prefers symbolic capitals, prestige involvement, charisma, authority, consecration, or artistic celebration in poetry. Poetry becomes ideology in Paranggi’s life.Keywords: Paranggi, position, and national literary field.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to reveal the meaning of Budi Darma’s “Kisah Pilot Bejo” short story, by the deployment of Roland Barthes semiotic approaches. The data unit is in form of text taken from the short story and collected by documentation method. The data is analyzed descriptively by the use of short story structure reading method. “Kisah Pilot Bejo” shows the depiction of Indonesian aviation transportation failure, begins with the unprofessionalism of the pilot, the incredible aviation company, and the conditions of the planes which actually not feasible to fly. The representation is an outright critic for the government to seriously focus their attention toward the national aviation system professionally, transparently, and responsibly.Keywords: Kisah Pilot Bejo, Roland Barthes semiotic

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui langkah-langkah penggunaan media gambar berseri berbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bermain peran dalam pembelajaran drama, (2) mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam bermain peran melalui penggunaan media gambar berseri berbasis pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran drama, dan (3) mengetahui respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media gambar berseri berbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bermain peran dalam pembelajaran bermain drama pada siswa Kelas XI IPB 2 SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Seririt yangberjumlah satu kelas (32 orang siswa), dan seorang guru bidang bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dianalisis dengan rancangan kuantitatif-kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, metode tes, metode angket/ kuesioner, dan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembelajaran drama dilaksanan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus dirancang dalam dua kali pertemuan. Pada tindakan siklus I, siswa diberikan materi tentang drama, dan diajak memahami adegan-adegan drama dalam gambar berseri, (2) kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran sangat tinggi, yakni siswa mampu memenuhi KKM (kriteria ketuntasan minimal) yang telah ditentukan pihak sekolah, yaitu 75, pada siklus II, dan (3) dalam pembelajaran drama dengan menggunakan gambar berseri berbasis pendekatan saintifik, guru dan siswa mengalami berbagai kendala, antara lain (1) siswa merasa malu saat bermain peran, (2) media gambar berseri yg digunakan masih kurang rinci, dan (3) siswa masih belum memahami cara berdialog dengan baik. Pembelajaran drama dengan media gambar berseri berbasis pendekatan saintik sangat efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, guru bidang bahasa dan sastra Indonesia sudah seharusnya menggunakan media gambar berseri berbasis pendekatan saintifik, guna menunjang materi yang akan disampaikan kepada peserta didik.Kata Kunci : media gambar berseri, pendekatan saintifik, pembelajaran drama This study aimed (1) to know the steps of using series of pictures media based on scientific approach to improve the students’ achievement in acting on drama lesson, (2) to know the students’ achievement in acting through the using series of pictures media based on scientific approach on drama lesson and (3) to know the students’ response on the using of series of pictures media based on scientific approach to improve the students’ achievement in acting on drama lesson of grade XI IPB 2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. The subject of this study is the students of grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Seririt which consists of 32 students (1class) and a teacher of Indonesian Language and Literature. This is a classroom based action research which is analyzed by quantitative-qualitative design. The methods of collecting the data are observation, test, questionnaire and interview. The result of the study shows that (1) the drama lesson is conducted in two cycles, each cycle is designed for two meetings. In cycle 1, the students are given a material about drama and asked to understand the acts of a drama based on the series of pictures given, (2) the students’ achievement in learning process are very high, in which the students are able to reach the KKM (students’ passing grade) which is already set by the school that is 75, in cycle 2, and (3) in drama learning process by using series of pictures based on scientific approach, the teacher and the students have some obstacles, those are (1) students are still shy in acting, (2) the series of pictures media that are used is still not detailed yet, and (3) the students still do not understand how doing dialogue well. Learning drama through series of pictures media based on scientific approach is very effective to be conducted in learning process. For that reason, teachers of Indonesian Language and Literature should be using the series of pictures media based on scientific approach in purpose to support the material which will be given to the students. keyword : series of pictures media, scientific approach, drama lesson

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui jenis campur kode pada guru bahasa Indonesia kelas VII di SMP Internasional Doremi Excellent School Denpasar dan (2) mengetahui faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya campur kode pada guru bahasa Indonesia kelas VII di SMP Internasional Doremi Excellent School Denpasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia kelas VII. Objek penelitian adalah campur kode pada guru bahasa Indonesia. Metode pengumpulan data adalah metode observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis campur kode yang muncul pada tuturan guru bahasa Indonesia kelas VII di SMP Internasional Doremi Excellent School Denpasar yaitu campur kode ke luar dan campur kode ke dalam. Faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya campur kode pada guru bahasa Indonesia kelas VII di Internasional Doremi Excellent School Denpasar yaitu (1) faktor peserta wicara, meliputi faktor keinginan penutur untuk menyanjung lawan bicara atau orang yang dijadikan sasaran pembicaraan, faktor keinginan penutur untuk menjelaskan, dan faktor kebiasaan penutur, (2) faktor topik atau pokok pembicaraan, meliputi faktor bahasa Indonesia yang tidak memiliki kosakata seperti unsur-unsur lain dan faktor kesederhanaan struktur bahasa lain.Kata Kunci : kode, campur kode, guru bahasa Indonesia The purposes of this study are (1) determine the type of code-mixing in Indonesian teacher in junior class VII International School Doremi Excellent Denpasar and (2) determine the factors that caused the code-mixing in Indonesian teacher in junior class VII International Doremi Excellent School Denpasar. This research used a qualitative descriptive design. The subjects were teachers Indonesian International junior class VII. The object of the research is code-mixing of Indonesian teachers. The method used to collect data is the method of observation and interview. These results indicate that this type of mixed code that appears on the speech Indonesian teacher in junior class VII International School Doremi Excellent Denpasar, outher code mixing and inner code mixing. The factors that caused the code-mixing in Indonesian teacher in class VII International School Doremi Excellent Denpasar, namely (1) the factors of speech participants, these aspects include factors speakers desire to flatter the other person or people who were targeted talks, speakers desire to explain the factors, and factors speakers habits, (2) factors topic or subject, these aspects include factors Indonesian who do not have a vocabulary like other elements, and the simplicity of the structure of a language other factors.keyword : code, code-mixing, teachers Indonesian

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) teknik membina penerbitan majalah sekolah pada ekstrakulikuler jurnalistik di SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja dan (2) manajemen produksi majalah sekolah pada ekstrakulikuler jurnalistik di SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pembina dan tim redaksi majalah Kharisma SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. Objek penelitian ini adalah pembinaan dan manajemen produksi majalah sekolah. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melaui metode observasi dan wawancara untuk teknik membina penerbitan majalah sekolah. Data mengenai manajemen produksi majalah sekolah dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) teknik yang digunakan dalam membina penerbitan majalah Kharisma, yaitu tanya jawab, tes, diskusi, penugasan, bimbingan, dan motivasi dan (2) manajemen produksi majalah Kharisma SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja dapat dilihat dari fungsi-fungsi manajemen, yaitu perencanaan ditemukan adanya program kerja dan perencanaan isi majalah. Pada fungsi pengorganisasian ditemukan sistem perekrutan anggota dan sumber dana penerbitan. Fungsi pelaksanaan berjalan tidak sesuai perencanaan. Fugsi pengestafan dilakukan dengan pelatihan-pelatihan dan fungsi pengawasan kurang maksimal karena tidak dilakukan secara intens. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) selain teknik motivasi, seluruh teknik yang digunakan oleh pembina di atas sangat tepat karena sesuai dengan karakteristik pembinaan yang dilaksanakan dan (2) manajemen produksi majalah Kharisma kurang baik karena pelaksanaan tidak sesuai dengan perencanaan yang disebabkan oleh kurang ketatnya pengawasan, walaupun dari segi perencanaan, pengorganisasi, dan pengestafan dijalankan dengan baik. Saran atas pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah fungsi rekreatif ekstrakulikuler lebih dimaksimalkan agar siswa senang mengikuti kegiatan.Kata Kunci : pembinaan jurnalistik, manajemen majalah, ekstrakulikuler The objectives of this study were to describe (1) the technique of teaching the school magazine publication in journalism extracurricular at SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja and (2) the management of school magazine production in journalism extracurricular at SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. This study used descriptive qualitative research design. The subjects of this study were the instructor and the editor team of Kharisma SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja magazine. The objects of this study were the coaching and the production management of the school magazine. The data in this research were collected through the method of observation, interview, and documentation with the instruments of observation guideline / field note and recording device. The results of this study were divided into two categories. First, the techniques used in teaching the publication of Kharisma SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja magazine, answers and questions technique, test technique, discussion technique, assignment technique, guidance technique, and motivation technique. Secondly, Kharisma magazine production management SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja can be seen from management functions, namely (1) planning, discovered the existence of the work program and planning of contents, (2) organizing, discovered systems and resources recruitment publication, (3) the implementation of the plan not run well, (4) staffing done with training, and (5) the supervision not maximum because of the less concentration of editorial leadership.The conclusions of this study are (1) in addition to motivational techniques, all techniques used by the coach in the beggining already right because according to the characteristics in places and (2) production management Kharisma magazine is not good because the implementation is not in accordance with the plan due to lack of strict supervision, although in terms of planning, organizing, and staffing run well. Suggestions for the implementation of this research is more extracurricular recreational function is maximized so that students enjoy participating in activities. The conclusions of this study are (1) in addition to motivational techniques, all techniques used by the builder at the very top of the right because according to the characteristics of the guidance is implemented and (2) production management Charisma magazine is not good because the implementation is not in accordance with the plan due to lack of strict supervision , although in terms of planning, organizing, and pengestafan run. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji (1) keberadaan aktivitas jurnalistik siswa SMA Negeri 2 Semarapura, (2) produk-produk jurnalistik siswa SMA Negeri 2 Semarapura dan (3) sumbangan aktivitas jurnalistik bagi kegiatan pendidikan di SMA Negeri 2 Semarapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi yang difokuskan pada keberadaan aktivitas jurnalistik dan metode dokumentasi untuk mengetahui bagaimana produk-produk jurnalistik SMA Negeri 2 Semarapura. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kulitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) keberadaan aktivitas jurnalistik siswa SMA Negeri 2 Semarapura dilaksanakan berdasarkan program kegitan ekstrakurikuler jurnalistik yang dirancang oleh pembina ekstrakurikuer jurnalistik sekaligus Guru Fisika. (2) Produk jurnalistik yang dihasilkan oleh anggota Smart yaitu berupa majalah sekolah, video reportase, film pendek dan foto. (3) Aktivitas jurnalistik siswa SMA Negeri 2 Semarapura mampu memberikan sumbangan bagi kegiatan pendidikan, yaitu turut mengharumkan nama sekolah karena dari tahun 2010 hingga 2015 tim jurnalistik SMA Negeri 2 Semarapura telah berhasil memenangkan lomba sebanyak 71 kali. Selain prestasi dibidang jurnalistik anggota Smart juga berprestasi di kelasnya masing-masing. Kata Kunci : Kata kunci: aktivitas jurnaistik, produk jurnalistik, ekstrakurikuler This study aims to assess (1) the existence of the activity of journalism students of SMAN 2 Semarapura, (2) the products of journalism students of SMAN 2 Semarapura and (3) the contribution of journalistic activity for educational activities at SMAN 2 Semarapura. This study uses the method of observation that is focused on the existence of journalistic activity and methods of documentation to determine how the products of journalism SMAN 2 Semarapura. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. Results of this study were (1) the existence of journalistic activity 2 Semarapura State high school students conducted by journalism extracurricular activity program designed by the builder ekstrakurikuer journalism as well as Professor of Physics. (2) Product journalism produced by Smart members in the form of the school magazine, video reportage, short films and photographs. (3) Activities journalism student SMAN 2 Semarapura capable of contributing to the educational activities, which is also the name of the school because from 2010 to 2015 journalism team SMAN 2 Semarapura has managed to win the race as much as 71 times. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan perencanaan guru bahasa Indonesia kelas XI SMA di Negeri se-Kota Singaraja dalam pembelajaran menulis naskah drama berdasarkan pengalaman pribadi, (2) mendeskripsikan implementasi keterampilan menjelaskan guru bahasa Indonesia, dan (3) mendeskripsikan kendala yang dihadapi guru bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia. Objek penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, implementasi, dan kendala guru dalam keterampilan menjelaskan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) hal-hal yang dipersiapkan guru dalam merencanakan keterampilan menjelaskan adalah silabus dan RPP, (2) implementasi keterampilan menjelaskan guru bahasa sudah tergolong baik, dan (3) kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan keterampilan menjelaskan adalah kurangnya minat dan perhatian siswa, kondisi fisik guru, dan sumber belajar yang terbatas.Kata Kunci : keterampilan menjelaskan, guru bahasa Indonesia, menulis naskah drama, dan pengalaman pribadi The purposed of this research are (1) to describe bahasa Indonesia teachers plan at the grade of the 11th senior high school student in Singaraja in the study of writing drama script based on their own experience, (2) to describe the implementation of their explaining skill, and (3) to describe difficulty which is faced by bahasa Indonesia teachers. This research use descriptive qualitative observation method. Subject in this research is bahasa Indonesia teachers. Object in this research are plan, implementation, and difficulty teachers in explaining skill. The methods of collecting data which are used are observation, interview, and documentation. Data is analyzed by using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this research are to show (1) things which are prepared in planning about explaining skill is syllabus and lesson plan, (2) the implementation of bahasa Indonesia teachers skill which is categorized good, (3) the difficulty which is faced is the lack of students desire and attention, condition of teachers physically, and the lack of facilities.keyword : explaining skill, bahasa Indonesia teachers, drama script, self-experience

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, (2) pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, dan (3) kendala yang dihadapi dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pembina dan siswa yang terlibat dalam ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja. Objek penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra. Data mengenai perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra diperoleh melalui metode dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data mengenai pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra diperoleh melalui metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data mengenai kendala dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra diperoleh melalui metode observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) perencanaan yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan esktrakurikuler berbentuk program kerja. Hal-hal yang direncanakan dalam program kerja, yaitu bentuk-bentuk kegiatan, tempat, sarana, dan waktu pelaksanaan, (2) pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra dilakukan dengan lima bentuk kegiatan apresiasi, yaitu membaca puisi, membaca dongeng, menulis puisi, musikalisasi puisi, dan drama, (3) kendala yang dihadapi pembina dalam melaksanakan kegiatan apresiasi sastra di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja, yakni memilih bentuk-bentuk kegiatan dan melaksanakan beberapa kegiatan, seperti membaca dongeng, menulis puisi, musikalisasi puisi, dan drama. Hal itu dikarenakan keterbatasan pengetahuan pembina dalam membimbing bentuk-bentuk apresiasi sastra tersebut. Secara umum, pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler apresiasi sastra di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja belum berjalan maksimal karena dari lima kegiatan, hanya satu kegiatan yang terlaksana dengan baik, yaitu membaca puisi.Kata Kunci : apresiasi, sastra, ekstrakurikuler This study aimed to describe: (1) planning extracurricular activity literary appreciation in SMP N 3 Singaraja, (2) the implementation of the extracurricular activities literary appreciation in SMP N 3 Singaraja, and (3) constraints in literary appreciation activities in SMP N 3 Singaraja. This study used a qualitative descriptive design. The subjects were coaches and students involved in extracurricular literary appreciation in SMP N 3 Singaraja. The object of this research was the implementation of extracurricular activities appreciation of literature. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The results of this study are: (1) the planning used in the implementation of extracurricular activities was in the form of work program. Things were planned in work program namely, literary appreciation extracurricular activities, places, facilities and timing of implementation, (2) the implementation of extracurricular activities literary appreciation was done with five activity forms of appreciation those are, reading poetry, reading fairy tales, poetry writing, poems musical and drama, (3) constraints faced by supervisors in conducting literature appreciation in SMP N 3 Singaraja are choosing other forms of literature appreciation activities and carry out several activities, such as reading stories, writing poetry, m. It was due to the limited knowledge of coaches in guiding the forms of literary appreciation. In general, the implementation of extracurricular activities literary appreciation in SMP N 3 Singaraja not running optimally because of the five activities, only one activity that is performing well, the reading of poetry.keyword : appreciation, literature, extracurricular

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses produksi pementasan drama Teater Angin SMA Negeri 1 Denpasar dan kendala-kendala yang dialami dalam proses produksi pementasan drama Teater Angin tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Teater Angin SMA Negeri 1 Denpasar. Objek penelitian ini adalah proses produksi pementasan drama. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah proses produksi pementasan drama Teater Angin dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap latihan, dan tahap pementasan. Tahap persiapan dalam proses produksi pementasan drama Teater Angin yaitu pemilihan tim produksi, pemilihan naskah, pemilihan pemain, dan merekam dubbing. Tahap latihan dalam proses produksi pementasan drama Teater Angin yaitu latihan vokal, latihan akting, panggung dekorasi, pencahayaan, busana rias, publikasi atau promosi. Tahap pementasan yang dilakukan Teater Angin dalam produksi pementasan drama yaitu, geladi bersih dan pentas. Dalam memproduksi pementasan drama Teater Angin mengalami beberapa kendala, yaitu tidak ada tempat khusus yang dapat digunakan untuk latihan, cuaca saat latihan tidak mendukung, anggota atau pemain tidak disiplin saat menghadiri latihan, naskah yang dibuat penyelesaiannya terlambat, dan perekaman dubbing mengalami keterlambatan.Kata Kunci : proses produksi, pementasan drama, teater angin This study aimed to describe the production process of drama staging of Teater Angin SMAN 1 Denpasar and the constraints of experienced in the production process of drama staging Teater Angin. This research is used by a qualitative descriptive plan. This research subject is Teater Angin SMAN 1 Denpasar. The object of this research is the production process of drama staging. The data in this research was collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The result of this research is the production process of Teater Angin drama staging is divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage, the exercise stage, and the performances stages. The preparation stage in the production process of Teater Angin drama staging drama production selection team, the selection of texts, selection of players, and recording dubbing. The exercise stage in the production process of Teater Angin drama stage is vocal practice, acting practice, decoration stage, lighting, make-up fashion, publicity or promotion. The Teater Angin staging conducted in the production of drama performance which rehearsals and performances. The theater production in the Teater Angin having some problems, that haven’t special place which can be used to practice, the weather doesn’t support practice, members or players are not disciplined while attending the rehearsal, late of script solution, recording and dubbing has been delayedkeyword : the production process, staging drama, teater angin
