Abstract

Penerapan efek call-out dalam menciptakan iklan layanan masyarakat yang mengangkat tema penipuan berbasis daring. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana efek call-out dapat menarik perhatian, meningkatkan estetika, memudahkan pemahaman, dan memperpendek durasi iklan. Tujuan utama kampanye ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang maraknya penipuan online. Dengan menggunakan efek call-out secara strategis, iklan ini bertujuan mendorong pemirsa agar lebih berhati-hati dalam interaksi online mereka. Kombinasi daya tarik visual dan pesan yang ringkas diharapkan tidak hanya dapat menarik perhatian tetapi juga menyampaikan pesan secara efisien. Melalui kampanye ini, tujuannya adalah membentuk masyarakat online yang lebih waspada dan selektif, sehingga ikut berkontribusi dalam menciptakan lingkungan digital yang lebih aman.

Abstract

Film dokumenter memiliki potensi besar untuk menyampaikan warisan budaya, sejarah, dan nilai-nilai melalui visualisasi gambar dan suara, sehingga lebih banyak menjangkau masyarakat. Film dokumenter juga memiliki beberapa gaya pengimplementasiannya, salah satunya adalah pendekatan gaya ekspository, penerapannya pada film dokumenter yaitu berisi sebuah narasi sebagai pengantar penonton menuju materi pada film dokumenter yang ingin di sampaikan atau dengan kata lain sebagai benang merah pada cerita. Materi film yang di sampaikan melalui film dokumenter ini adalah tradisi yang berasal dari sebuah daerah, tepatnya di Desa Suwug, Kecamatan Sawan, Kabupaten Buleleng, Provinsi Bali. Tradisi yang diangkat bernama tradisi Naur Penempuh, merupakan tradisi pembayaran hutang yang hanya dilakukan apabila seorang perempuan asli Desa Suwug melakukan pernikahan dengan laki laki dari luar dari Desa. Tradisi Naur Penempuh, merupakan salah satu tradisi yang belum mempunyai publikasi mengenai pemaknaannya secara lengkap dan jelas, maka dari itu penulis akan memvisualisasikan sejarah, pemaknaan serta bagaimana pelaksanaan dari tradisi Naur Penempuh ini melalui sebuah film dokumenter dengan metode observasional dan wawancara untuk penggalian sumber informasinya, serta melakuakn pengkonsepan film baik secara materi, narasi, serta visualisasinya.

Abstract

Pembuatan Iklan Layanan Masyarakat lingkungan hidup bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah karya visual yang menarik dan dapat memberikan informasi bagi masyarakat luas. Iklan layanan masyarakat bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi stigma masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan mengubah perilaku masyarakat terhadap isu-isu lingkungan hidup. Iklan layanan masyarakat merupakan salah satu alat komunikasi yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan penting mengenai pelestarian lingkungan kepada khalayak luas. Karya ini didasari oleh riset dan observasi pada keadaan lingkungan sekitar yang terkadang perlu diperhatikan dan dijaga kelestariannya. Dengan penerapan teknik cinematography pada iklan layanan masyarakat dapat membantu penulis dalam membangun cerita dan menciptakan visual yang menarik dan informatif sehingga tercipta karya yang tak hanya memiliki visual yang apik, tetapi juga memiliki makna didalamnya. Karya ini akan menjadi sangat berdampak secara luas bagi lapisan masyarakat yang bermacam-macam dalam menikmati dan menilai hasil karya yang diciptakan dengan harapan pesan alam dalam iklan layanan masyarakat memiliki karakter yang kuat sehingga tercapai sebuah makna yang ingin disampaikan.

Abstract

Film dapat merefleksikan sebuah peradaban suatu negara atau bangsa. Melalui karya film, seseorang dapat melihat dengan jelas rangkaian sejarah, budaya, filosofi, fenomena, bahkan gejolak sosial yang pernah terjadi di suatu zaman menuju zaman lainnya. Film terutama film dokumenter juga menjadi media yang kuat untuk dapat menjaga eksistensi kebudayaan. Peran film di era globalisasi ini menjadi suatu kajian yang menarik untuk dapat menghadirkan tontonan yang sekaligus dapat menjadi tuntunan bagi masyarakat. Apalagi jika menilik situasi masyarakat kini yang hidup di antara gelimang arus budaya global yang tentu saja mengancam keudayaan yang dimiliki. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis nilai-nilai literasi budaya dalam film dokumenter Brahman Ceremony. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur model interaktif Milles dengan tahapan tiga analisis data, yaitu (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) verifikasi atau penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah film dokumenter berjudul Brahmana Ceremony ini merupakan film dokumenter yang digarap dengan tipe expository. Tipe ini berupa narasi (voice over) yang memaparkan/menjelaskan serangkaian fakta yang dikombinasikan bersamaan dengan gambar-gambar di film. Literasi budaya yang disajikan di antaranya ritus budaya ngaben yang seorang sulinggih mulai dari awal prosesi hingga akhir.

Abstract

This study examines the narrative transformation of Calon Arang, a Balinese folklore rich in mysticism and local ethics, into a modern literary text reinterpreted by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The research assumes that Pramoedya did not merely adapt a folktale but carried out an ideological reconstruction of the character Calon Arang as a symbol of female resistance against structural injustice, gender stigma, and patriarchal epistemological hegemony. In Pramoedya's version, the elderly woman, long portrayed as an evil witch, is reimagined as an intelligent, courageous figure who subverts masculine power structures—both royal and religious. The study employs an intertextual approach and critical discourse analysis by comparing the oral narratives of Calon Arang in Balinese tradition—recorded in lontar manuscripts and dramatized in Calonarang performances—with Pramoedya’s literary text. Using postcolonial feminist theory and Paulo Freire’s critical pedagogy, this research explores the potential of Calon Arang as a teaching material that cultivates both local cultural literacy and critical gender awareness in the classroom. Findings show that the transformation of Calon Arang from oral folklore to modern literary text signifies a paradigmatic shift: from a myth of ostracism to a narrative of resistance. Pramoedya’s Calon Arang emerges not as an emblem of evil but as a metaphor for the educated woman oppressed for resisting sexist norms and unequal socio-religious power. The work is thus relevant for inclusion in secondary and higher education literary curricula as a progressive model of critical literacy rooted in local culture. The study concludes that integrating local folklore into modern literature not only enriches the Indonesian literary canon but also opens dialogic spaces across generations, between myth and social critique, and between education and emancipation. Within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, this study offers a strategic contribution to the development of contextual, transformative, and gender-sensitive literary education.

Abstract

Public service advertisements are a form of commercial communication aimed at providing information or changing people's attitudes towards certain social issues. Public service advertisements have many relevant themes, one of which is being wise on social media. Social media is a digital platform that facilitates users to interact with each other without being limited by space and time. The use of social media provides positive impacts such as a place for creativity, a source of information and education, promotion and branding. Meanwhile, the negative impacts experienced include the spread of misinformation, cyberbullying, privacy and data security issues, psychological impacts. After understanding the background of the importance of wise use of social media in everyday life and the negative impacts it causes, several main questions emerge which are the focus of this research, namely: What is the concept of producing public service advertisements about Wisely Using Social Media and What is the production process for public service advertisements about Wisely? Social Media. To answer the questions that have been formulated, this research uses several methods, namely the creation method, the idea creation method and the production method. By applying this method, this research was successful in obtaining results which show that the concept and implementation of the production of public service advertisements "Social Media Wise" can educate the public to be more careful in using social media, including filtering information before following or sharing, respecting other people's privacy, and interact positively in the digital space. It is hoped that this advertisement will be able to encourage better behavioral changes, create a healthy social media environment in utilizing technology, support the development of an intelligent, critical and responsible society in this information era.

With digital money, e-wallets, and online platforms, gambling has become increasingly accessible to teenagers, leading to conflicts like fights, theft, and even murder, often driven by debt and verbal abuse. Film, as a visual narrative medium, effectively highlights these issues. The author presents a thriller short film about a gambler facing significant loss, directed in Hitchcock’s suspenseful style, known for its psychological depth and innovative cinematography. This film critiques the negative impacts of gambling by combining narrative, symbolism, and visuals to deliver a socially relevant message, emphasizing the dangers of gambling and its profound consequences.

Abstract

The more developed human civilization, the more human population in it. It turns out that the impact of the large human population also produces a lot of waste, the waste is produced from human activities, ranging from domestic waste, commercial waste, to agricultural waste. However, the waste produced by humans is not handled properly, so that it has an impact on the surrounding environment. Such as pollution of coastal beaches, pollution of lakes to the accumulation of waste in landfills. One solution is to handle the large amount of waste with Waste Management, the waste management that must be done is household waste management. This is because the waste that pollutes the environment comes from sources, the sources here mostly come from household waste. Around 44.13%. So in this journal the author presents how the process of creating the work of Household Waste Management Community Advertisements, which is taken from in-depth research that occurs in society.

Abstract

Unpaid Souls is a thriller short film that emphasizes a dramatic and suspenseful atmosphere. The story follows a group of gamblers struggling to survive in a game of death. The shooting not only focuses on angles and lighting, but also uses handheld techniques to give the impression of flexibility and free movement following the storyline. This technique creates an intimate and emotional atmosphere, making the audience feel the moment more deeply. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using handheld in building emotional atmosphere and character connection with the audience. The results show that handheld emphasizes emotional instability and strengthens the audience's immersion, especially in conflict scenes or emotional moments.

Abstract

This study highlights the ideal ratio between the number of lecturers and students in Islamic Education classes at the Faculty of Economics, Udayana University, Bali. With only one lecturer teaching 200 students, this imbalance is a significant concern, especially amidst worries about the spread of extremism and exclusivism on campus. The research aims to evaluate the learning process, religious moderation attitudes among lecturers and students, and factors influencing religious moderation attitudes among students. Using a qualitative descriptive method and a case study design, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the ratio of Islamic Education lecturers to students does not meet government standards, despite the implementation of various teaching methods. Nevertheless, attitudes towards religious moderation are generally positive, although there are indications of a lack of moderation among some students. Internal and external factors were identified as influencing factors on religious moderation attitudes. These findings emphasize the need for ongoing efforts to improve the quality of Islamic Education learning through enhancing lecturer competencies and implementing programs to strengthen religious moderation in higher education, aiming to promote tolerance and reinforce religious moderation among students.
