Abstract

AbstractDomestic wastewater in Sukoharjo Village, Margorejo District, Pati Regency hasn’t been managed optimally, even there’s already a Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant (DWWTP) build, but it’s only intended for 46 SR. Based on these conditions, a DWWTP with a capacity up to 200 SR will be planned so that it can cover more residents. The DWWTP planning begins with licensing, field surveys, data collection, literature study, planning, discussion, and conclusions. Primary data that used is field observations, COD and BOD data, then secondary data that used is Population Data, Groundwater Level, Land Slope, STBM, and Gambiran DWWTP Working Drawings. This DWWTP planning uses combination of ABR and AF wastewater treatment techniques. The use of clean water for 200 SR is 90 m/day, with a waste volume of 72 m/day and a sludge volume of 15 m/year. The wastewater has 15 mg/L BOD values and 40 mg/L COD Values. Based on the planning results, the DWWTP design was obtained which includes 1 inlet tank measuring 1 x 1 m with a depth of 3 m, 1 settler tank 3.5 x 3.5 meters with a depth of 3.5 m, 4 ABR tanks 1 x 3.5 m with a depth of 3.5 m, as well as 4 1 x 3 m AF tanks with a depth of 3.5 m. 6-inch diameter PVC pipe used to drain the waste water, accompanied by 85 control tubs with a diameter of 0.6 meters. Keywords: Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant, Anaerobic Baffled Reactor, Anaerobic Filter, Domestic Wastewater

Abstract

Abstract

The Kaliwungu–Krapyak Toll Road is one of the road sections that connects Kendal Regency and Semarang City and is part of the Trans Java Toll Road network. Differences in traffic conditions and road characteristics between toll roads and non-toll roads can affect the magnitude of Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) incurred by road users. This study aims to identify the variables that influence Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) and to analyze the VOC values on the Kaliwungu–Krapyak Toll Road and the Kaliwungu–Krapyak Non-Toll Road using the Pacific Consultant International (PCI) method. The research data were obtained through the collection of primary and secondary data related to vehicle operating cost variables, including fuel consumption, lubricant usage, vehicle maintenance costs, tire wear, vehicle depreciation, capital interest, insurance costs, and unexpected costs. The results show that the VOC value is influenced by vehicle speed and traffic conditions on each road segment. The lowest VOC value on the Kaliwungu–Krapyak Toll Road occurs at a speed of 70 km/h, while on the Kaliwungu–Krapyak Non-Toll Road it occurs at a speed of 57 km/h. Based on these results, the analysis of VOC variables can be used to describe the efficiency of vehicle operating costs on both road sections.

Abstract

Abstract. The Semarang toll road is the only toll road network in the city of Semarang at this time. The construction of toll roads aims to reduce congestion and improve travel time efficiency. In addition, the benefit of toll roads is that toll road users will benefit in the form of vehicle operational cost savings (BOK) and time compared to if they pass through non-toll roads. For alternative routes or non-toll roads, conventional roads can be chosen by motorists without passing through toll roads. This study aims to calculate vehicle operating costs (BOK), vehicle operating cost benefits (BKBOK) using the Pacific Consultant International (PCI) method as a limit to determine toll rates and analyze the comparison of Vehicle Operating Costs (BOK) on toll and non-toll roads. . Data collection techniques in this study used primary and secondary data collection techniques. The analysis was carried out using an interactive analysis model. The calculation of vehicle operating costs using the PCI method is taken from the lowest vehicle operating costs from various speed variations. For toll roads, the lowest vehicle operating costs occur at a speed of 60 km/hour with a total BOK of Rp. 6,803.54. Meanwhile, for non-toll roads, the lowest vehicle operating costs occur at a speed of 60 km/hour with a total BOK of Rp. 10,641.27. According to the analysis we have obtained, toll roads are cheaper than non-toll roads. For road users in the city of Semarang, it is recommended to use the Semarang section A toll road compared to non-toll roads, because vehicle operating costs are more efficient and have a much faster travel time.Keyword : BOK,BKBOK, speed, PCI, Toll Road

Abstract

Abstrack. The Blorong River is a river in the Brangsong District, Kendal Regency, Central Java Province, which has the potential to be hit by flood disasters almost every year. So conditions like this can cause losses to communities around the Blorong River. Through the research carried out, the aim was to determine the maximum discharge of the Blorong river with a river length of ± 3.3 km. The calculations and analysis applied in this research use quantitative methods. The primary data taken is documentation of the existing conditions of the Blorong river, while the secondary data is rainfall data from Balai Pusdataru Bodri Kuto. Analysis of the planned flood discharge using the Nakayasu HSS method shows that the planned return period flood discharge is Q2 years = 236,500 m³/s, Q5 years = 276,392 m³/s, Q10 years = 296,294 m³/s and Q25 years = 300,180 m³/s. After comparing it with the results of manual calculations of the existing conditions of the Blorong River using the Manning formula. The solution to the problem of flooding from the Blorong river is to normalize the river, raise the embankment in the STA section which is no longer able to accommodate the planned flood discharge, and also provide regulations so that people do not throw rubbish in the river. Keywords: Flood Analysis, Flood Discharge, Blorong River
