Abstract

Managing santri loyalty makes pesantren to win competition amid the high growth of pesantren in Indonesia. This study aims to examine santri loyalty model through the image of pesantren, service quality, and santri satisfaction. Samples of this study were 344 students from 2029 students of the largest pesantren in Jakarta and analyzed the data using path analysis. Findings showed that service quality of pesantren has a direct effect on santri loyalty which is the strongest compared to the image of pesantren and santri satisfaction. It is suggested to kyai and managers of pesantren can pay attention to services quality, the image of pesantren, and santri satisfaction, because it is proved to be able to increase santri loyalty.

Abstract

Strategi pemasaran merupakan salah satu bagian yang sangat penting dan memiliki dampak luas serta kuat terhadap kelancaran produk atau jasa. Mempermudah para pengguna jasa menemukan pilihan lembaga terbaik mereka. Karena strategi pemasaran pendidikan berfokus pada upaya pemenuhan keinginan dan harapan masyarakat. Sehingga, peningkatan produk berupa jasa layanan pendidikan perlu dikembangkan mengingat banyaknya persaingan dengan lembaga-lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa product (produk), SMPIT Granada Tangerang menawarkan produk jasa yang membentuk generasi khairul ummah berkonsep pendidikan Islam terpadu. Price (harga/pembiayaan) ditentukan oleh pihak khusus dengan kenaikan yang terjadi secara stabil. Place (tempat/lokasi), tersedia akses yang mudah meskipun secara visibilitas tidak dapat dilihat dari tepi jalan, tetapi berdasarkan lalu lintas keamanan tetap terjaga. Promotion (promosi), dilakukan dengan cara yang kompleks. People (orang/sumber daya manusia), telah didukung dengan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang berkualitas. Physical evidence (fasilitas/sarana fisik), sarana prasarana tersedia dengan lengkap. Process (proses), mencakup seluruh aktivitas kerja, prosedur, mekanisme, seperti tahap persiapan penerimaan peserta didik baru hingga tes seleksi yang harus dilalui oleh peserta didik baru.

Abstract

Di era teknologi informasi ini mahasiswa cenderung menggunakan media sosial, salah satunyaTwitter, untuk berkomunikasi kapan dan di mana saja. Melalui Twitter, mereka memberikaninformasi pribadi secara bebas yang jika dilakukan secara berlebihan dapat berdampak negatifbagi diri sendiri. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penelitam ini bertujuan untukmengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan Twitter terhadap pengungkapan diri padamahasiswa Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.Berdasarkan teori Johari Window mengungkapkan bahwa tingkat keterbukaan dan kesadarantentang diri sendiri yang dibagi dalam empat kuadran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatankuantitatifl dengan metode survey. Analisis regresi sederhana digunakan sebagai teknik analisisdata. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak85 mahasiswa program studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam UIN Jakarta. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitan menunjukan adanya pengaruh penggunaan Twitter terhadap pengungkapan diridengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,937 dengan t=6,865. Besaran kontribusi penggunaan Twittersebesar 36,2% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

The development of science and technology as well as the fierce competition of educational institutions at this time requires schools to innovate, and be creative in making marketing strategies. Marketing strategy is one of the keys to the success of an institution in attracting public interest. The problems raised and studied in this study are: 1. How is the marketing promotion strategy carried out by the Mafatihul Hikmah Jati Agung Islamic boarding school, 2. How is the segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategy carried out by the Mafatihul Hikmah Jati Agung Islamic boarding school. This research was conducted at the Mafatihul Hikmah Islamic boarding school, Jati Agung, South Lampung with a qualitative approach. The results showed 1. Marketing promotion strategies at the Mafatihul Hikmah Islamic boarding school used print media (banners), social media (facebook and whatsapp), and word of mouth information. (personal selling). 2. The segmentation strategy applied using a geographical approach, the targeting is schools around Jati Agung, Mafatihul Himah Islamic boarding school positioning with the tahfidz program and habituation programs that are superior.

Abstract

Abstrak Komitmen kerja pendidik kepada lembaga dapat memberikan kontribusi yang berarti bagi perkembangan organisasi ke depan. Hanya lembaga pendidikan yang dapat berkembang yang dapat memenangkan persaingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lingkungan kerja dan komunikasi interpersonal sebagai faktor penentu komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 27 responden di MTs. Al-Fathimiyah Karawang dengan teknik total sampling pada Agustus 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lingkungan kerja memberikan pengaruh terbesar dalam upaya peningkatan komitmen kerja dengan komunikasi interpersonal sebagai variabel intervening. Oleh karena itu, perbaikan fasilitas kerja, kenyamanan ruang kerja dan dibantu dengan keterbukaan diri, ketegasan, dukungan ekspresif, dan kedekatan pendidik MTs. Al-Fathimiyah Karawang dapat mendorong komitmen organisasi yang kuat.

Abstract

Over the past year, the educational landscape has undergone significant shifts in response to the global pandemic. Limitations on physical interaction and efforts to reduce the spread of the virus have compelled educational institutions to transition to a Distance Learning (DL) model. This study focuses on the transformation of procurement strategies for learning facilities to support DL during the pandemic. A qualitative method was utilized, taking a case study approach in five leading educational institutions in Indonesia.The findings indicate that there are three main factors that are the focal points in procuring learning facilities for DL: technology, accessibility, and quality of learning materials. Technology serves as the backbone of DL, but its provision must be balanced with equitable accessibility for all students. Therefore, procurement strategies involve collaborations with technology service providers, the government, and the community to ensure every student has access to learning tools. Moreover, the quality of learning materials also becomes pivotal, given the dynamics of DL which require curriculum and teaching method adjustments.This research recommends that educational institutions consider cross-sectoral partnerships in their procurement strategies and ensure adequate training for educators in using the new learning facilities. Through this procurement strategy transformation, it is hoped that education can remain effective and inclusive amidst the pandemic challenges.

Abstract

Pengeloaan citra pesantren menjadi hal penting sebagai salah satu upaya pesantren dalam memenangkan persaingan dengan lembaga lainnya. Citra pesantren yang positif diharapkan mampu menjadi keunggulan (competitive advantage). Citra pesantren sebagai persepsi stakeholder sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah tingkat pendidikan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji adakah perbedaan tingkat pendidikan santri terhadap persepsi mereka tentang citra pesantren. Penelitian dengan metode survei ini menggunakan analisis non parametri dengan teknik analisis Mann Whitney U-test. Survey dilakukan kepada 100 santri dengan tingkat pendidikan madrasah tsanawiyah dan madrasah aliyah. Teknik sampling dilakukan dengan simple random. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media skor persepsi citra pesantren pada santri madrasah tsanawiyah sebesar 141 dan santri madrasah aliyah sebesar 143. Dengan uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan perbedaan skor tersebut tidak signifikan (sig. 0,445), yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan persepsi santri madrasah tsanawiyah dan madrasah aliyah terhadap citra pesantren mereka.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to explore the concept of Islamic Servant Leadership (ISL) and its implications for education in madrasas. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study analyzes 22 scientific articles related to this theme. The analysis results show that ISL is based on example, service to the people, and leadership based on moral and spiritual values. There are five main aspects identified in this study, namely the leadership model of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, leadership in madrasas, leadership in Islamic boarding schools, integration of Islamic values ​​in leadership, and their impact on students' character education. The implementation of this leadership model also plays an important role in improving teacher communication ethics, collaboration between teaching staff, madrasah governance, and building student character. However, the results of this study also reveal a number of challenges to implementing ISL such as limited resources, leadership training, and resistance to changes in organizational culture. The initiative impact of this study provides recommendations for madrasa heads and educators in adopting the ISL model to produce a more inclusive learning environment based on Islamic values. Further studies are needed to empirically examine the implementation of this leadership model in various Islamic educational contexts.
