Abstract

This study was conducted to develop a new model of revisit intention among tourists visiting a sport-tourism destination. The research took place in Mandalika, a tourist hotspot that successfully hosted the MotoGP event in Indonesia. To achieve this goal, 200 tourists in Mandalika participated by completing a questionnaire and interviews. Quantitative data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) successfully developed a new revisit intention model influenced by green tourism, sports tourism, tourism infrastructure, and tourist experience. The contribution of all these elements to high revisit intention among tourists was recorded at 45.6%. The model also revealed that green tourism plays a significant role in shaping the tourist experience. Furthermore, the results showed that green tourism has the strongest influence in strengthening tourists' revisit intentions. The managerial implications derived from these findings suggest that, to increase revisit intentions, tourism stakeholders should actively promote eco-friendly and sports tourism, as these elements support sustainable practices and appeal to tourists seeking unique and environmentally conscious travel experiences.

Abstract

As digital technology becomes more embedded in early childhood education, gamified learning tools present a valuable opportunity to boost engagement and support cognitive development in preschool-aged children. This study explores the effectiveness of gamified tools in improving learning outcomes, motivation, and classroom participation among children aged 4 to 6 years. A mixed methods approach was used, involving two groups from preschools, the experimental group used gamified applications during instructional activities, while the control group followed traditional teaching methods over an eight-week period. Quantitative data were gathered through literacy and numeracy assessments conducted before and after the intervention, and qualitative data were collected through classroom observations and structured interviews with teachers. The findings revealed that children in the experimental group demonstrated statistically significant improvements in academic performance compared to the control group. They also showed higher levels of motivation, longer attention spans, and greater classroom engagement. Teachers reported more positive classroom dynamics during gamified sessions, noting increased enthusiasm, focus, and collaboration among students. These results suggest that gamified learning tools can serve as a powerful complement to traditional teaching approaches, helping to make early childhood education more effective and enjoyable. However, the study also emphasizes the importance of thoughtful implementation, such as aligning content with age-appropriate learning goals and ensuring teachers are well-equipped to facilitate technology-based instruction. Overall, gamified tools hold strong potential to enhance the preschool learning experience in meaningful ways.

Abstract

One of the professions with a significant risk of burnout is nursing. As a result of constantly having to regulate their emotions when interacting with patients, nurses have a higher emotional threshold. Physical fatigue, a lack of job satisfaction, and subpar performance can all be caused by emotional exhaustion. Burnout was found to have a detrimental impact on nurse loyalty and service quality. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of grit in reducing job burnout among secondary hospital nurses in Depok, West Java Province, Indonesia. Cross-sectional design, a quantitative approach, was utilized in this study. The study's participants were all the medical staff members employed by three secondary hospitals in Depok City, West Java, Indonesia. This study included 150 nurses from three hospitals as samples. Simple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that grit has a negative and significant impact on job burnout. With a R Square of 0.190, it is clear that other variables account for the remaining 89% of the job burnout variable, leaving only 19% to be explained by grit. Hospitals should analyze their nurses' workloads and create a work culture of mutual support. Nurses should set career goals and continue to learn new skills.

Abstract

Hospitals play a vital role in the healthcare system, with organizational support significantly influencing healthcare workers well-being and performance. This study explores the antecedents and consequences of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) in hospitals and highlights the role of technological advancements in enhancing POS. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted to synthesize findings from recent studies on POS, focusing on key factors influencing its development and outcomes. The antecedents of POS include leadership, work conditions, and organizational policies prioritizing fairness and employee engagement. Leadership styles and supportive work environments foster trust and emotional security. The consequences of POS include improved performance, job satisfaction, and resilience, as well as reduced burnout, PTSD, and turnover intention. POS also promotes organizational citizenship behavior and work engagement. Technological advancements, such as AI and telemedicine, enhance POS by streamlining operations and improving communication. This study underscores POS critical role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDGs 3 (health and well-being) and SDGs 8 (decent work and economic growth). The findings provide valuable insights for healthcare leaders and policymakers to strengthen organizational support systems, ensuring workforce sustainability and improved healthcare outcomes.
