Abstract

The creative economy is a sector that has potential and is the latest source of economic growth as the government's solution to prevent the national economy from slowing down in recent years. There are several creative economy sectors that have an important role in increasing the growth of the creative economy in Indonesia. One indicator of the creative economy sector that has good performance is exports, where exports are a component of GDP. This means that if there is an increase in creative industry exports, then GDP originating from the creative economy will increase and ultimately increase national economic growth. Labor also plays an important role in increasing the growth of the creative economy. The aim of this research is to see the influence of exports and labor on the growth of the creative economy in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used is secondary data from 2010-2022. The research results show that the export variable has no effect on the growth of the creative economy, while the labor variable has a positive effect on GDP. If the labor variable increases by 1%, the growth of the creative economy in Indonesia will also increase by 0.07%.

Abstract

TSharia banking is a bank that conducts business based on the principles of Islamic law or Sharia. Bank Shariah has introduced various products with features and amenities aimed at attracting Generation Z to use Bank Shariah's services. The objective of this study is to analyze the factors that influence decisions regarding the use of Islamic banking services. The subject of this research is Gen Z’s in Aceh. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. Data sources using online or electronic questionnaires with Google Forms Media. The data collection method uses an anonymous demographic technique with a sample size of 102 respondents. This study examines three factors of Shariah banking users' decisions to influence their decision to use Shariah banking services among Gen Z’s in Aceh, such as service, reputation and security variables. The results show that service, reputation and security variables influence Gen Z's decision of legitimate banking services in Aceh.

Abstract

This study investigates the reaction of poverty to consumption and inflation in Indonesia, utilizing the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method to explore the dynamic relationships between these key economic variables. The analysis is based on time-series data spanning from 2012 to 2023, comprising a total of 340 samples from 34 provinces across Indonesia. The findings reveal that both consumption and inflation exert a significant influence on poverty levels, with effects observable in both the short and long term. Specifically, consumption and inflation demonstrate a statistically significant relationship at a 5 percent significance level in the short term. However, in the long term, inflation’s effect is identified at a slightly higher significance level of 10 percent, indicating its persistent but somewhat weaker influence compared to consumption. These results highlight critical insights into the economic mechanisms that drive poverty in Indonesia, underlining the pivotal roles of consumption patterns and inflationary pressures. The research emphasizes the importance of targeted economic policies to manage these variables effectively to reduce poverty. For instance, promoting sustainable consumption and mitigating inflation’s adverse impacts can foster greater economic stability and resilience among vulnerable populations. By addressing these factors, policymakers can implement more effective strategies to achieve equitable economic growth and social welfare.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the persistently high poverty rate in Indonesia despite the government’s implementation of various fiscal interventions and programs aimed at strengthening household purchasing power. Poverty remains a national strategic issue as it reflects social inequality and limited public access to basic needs. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of government expenditure and household purchasing power on the poverty level in Indonesia over a long-term period. The study employs a quantitative approach using secondary time-series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, and the analysis is conducted using a multiple linear regression model to examine both partial and simultaneous effects among the variables. The findings indicate that, partially, government expenditure and household purchasing power do not have a significant effect on poverty, although both variables show a negative relationship that reflects a tendency toward poverty reduction. However, simultaneously, the two variables are found to have a significant influence on poverty levels, indicating that they jointly play an important role in explaining the dynamics of poverty in Indonesia. These results suggest that a combination of fiscal policy measures and efforts to strengthen household purchasing power remains essential for reducing poverty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of income and inflation on household consumption expenditure in 34 provinces in Indonesia. The main issue raised is the fluctuation in household consumption, which does not always move in line with changes in income and inflation, even though these two variables are generally considered to play an important role in determining the level of community welfare. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the period 2016–2024. The method applied is a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis to see the relationship between variables more comprehensively. The best model was determined through a series of model selection tests, namely the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests. Based on the results of these three tests, the Common Effect model was selected as the most appropriate model to describe the relationship between income, inflation, and household consumption. The analysis results show that income and inflation have no significant effect, either partially or simultaneously, on household consumption expenditure. In addition, the low coefficient of determination indicates that most of the variation in consumption is influenced by factors other than those included in this research model. These findings indicate the need for economic policies that focus more on increasing purchasing power and controlling prices in order to maintain the stability of household consumption in Indonesia.
