Abstract

Dalam dunia modern uang bukanlah sekedar sarana transaksi atau alat tukar. Lebih dari itu ia adalah infrastruktur berbagai differensiasi sosial dan salah satu unsur pokok yang membentuk - atau memanipulasi- gambaran dunia (worldview). Uang memang berperan melebihi fungsi ekonominya saja. Pada lapisan lebih dalam ia sekaligus merepresentasikan spirit dasar modernitas: rasionalitas, kalkulabilitas dan impersonalitas.Bila dalam dunia kuno realitas dipahami dan dikelola berdasarkan imajinasi dan rasa, dan masyarakat lantas dihayati sebagai paguyuban dengan kohesi sosial yang erat, dalam era modern realitas dipahami melalui kalkulasi rasional dan abstraksi, dan masyarakat terpecah ke dalam bermacam differensiasi sosial, yang ditandai dengan uang sebagai ukuran kuantitatif pembedanya.  Dari sisi ini uang adalah salah satu faktor yang melahirkan pergeseran mendasar dari Gemeinschaft ke Gesellschaft, dari pola relasi estetik ke pragmatik, kerangka pandang kualitatif ke kuantitatif,  sistem yang personal ke impersonal. Akibatnya di dunia modern orientasi nilai dan faktor penentu utama  adalah profit, akumulasi kapital, dan kekayaan material. Segala nilai lain hanya penting sejauh mendukung hal-hal tersebut.

Abstract

The main objectives of this study are to map and analyze the multiculturalism pattern in Muslim civilization history during the period. Analyses are developed with historical and socio-cultural perspectives. Several patterns of multiculturalism in Islamic civilization are found: Firstly, during the Prophet and al-Khulafa ar-Rasyidun era, Islam–as a doctrine and religion system–had accomodative patterns to the cultural form in al-'ashabiyyah al-qabaliyyah tradition and began to perform as Arabic culture-based civilization. Secondly, during the Daulah Umayyah era, disregarding that the civilization was developed using Arabic politics, the policies regarding Islamic expansion encouraged acculturation of Arabic-Muslim and non-Arabic or non-Muslim communities, leading to the multiculturalism in Islam at that time. Finally, during the Daulah Abbasiyah era, multiculturalism became more obvious as a pattern of Islamic civilization, indicated by the roles of non-Arabic cultures in Islamic civilization development.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari kegiatan program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) terhadap UMKM yang memiliki peranan penting dalam pengembangan kegiatan ekonomi lokal dan pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kabupaten Bandung yang memiliki potensi ekonomi yang besar. Salah satu UMKM yang terkenal di Kabupaten Bandung bergerak dalam bidang pengolahan peuyeum. Program ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan utama di sentra industri peuyeum di Kecamatan Cimenyan Kabupaten Bandung yakni belum terkelolanya usaha tersebut dengan baik dan teratur dari segi operasional, keuangan, SDM dan pemasaran. Program ini menggunakan teknik partisipatif melalui metode penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Peserta adalah para pelaku UMKM industri pengolahan peuyeum di Kecamatan Cimenyan Kabupaten Bandung yang tersebar di beberapa daerah antara lain: daerah Babakan, Lebak Gede dan Cipaheut. Hasil dari program PKM ini antara lain: (1) pengetahuan dan kesadaran para pelaku UMKM industri pengolahan peuyeum di Kecamatan Cimenyan Kabupaten Bandung mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan usaha yang baik dan teratur mulai meningkat pasca penyuluhan dan pelatihan, (2) tim pengabdi berhasil menghubungkan pelaku UMKM peuyeum Kecamatan Cimenyan, Kabupaten Bandung dengan supplier bahan baku singkong di beberapa daerah di Kota Bandung untuk mengatasi permasalahan terbatasnya bahan baku singkong yang mengganggu keberlangsungan kegiatan produksi.

Abstract

This paper explores the aftermath of the Java War on the socio-religious climate in Magelang. The rate of Christianization in that landscape accelerated following the war between the colonial regime and local residents. The discussion reconsiders the strategies of two leading figures of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah in stemming Christianization in the 19th-century Magelang. The Christian missionary agenda in Magelang was accomplished by eliciting the community’s sympathy. The missionaries built public hospitals and churches for local residents and hence held the congress of Catholic political associations and De Gereformeerde zending in Midden-Java in Magelang. The Dutch government also issued various policies to suppress Islamic movements. This paper finds that Dalhar Abdurrahman and Ahmad Dahlan responded to the missionary agenda in Magelang with non-confrontational strategies. Dalhar divided the socio-religious landscape of Magelang into two regions, the South and the North, based on the situation of Christian development. Dalhar also build a pesantren in Watucongkol and initiated the foundation of the Magelang Branch of NU to coordinate Muslim reformists. Dahlan halted Christianization by establishing a modern educational institution called Kweekschool Islam in an effort to compete with Dutch schools in Magelang. Dahlan also frequently engaged in dialogues and debates with the Christian missionaries.

Abstract

The Mughal Sultanate was one of the great Islamic sultanates in the classical Islamic era, the Mughal contribution to Islamic civilization in India was very large in terms of politics, culture, architecture, and economy. In the economic field, the Mughals had been independent before the arrival of the EIC in the sultanate in 1610, the Mughals had exported a lot of their agricultural and mining products to both Asia and Europe by cooperating with Muslim merchants, as well as land rulers both Muslim and Hindu. The arrival of EIC in the Mughal Sultanate changed the existing economic order because EIC in smoothing its business often entered into contracts with landlords and bribes with the Mughal apparatus it had significant implications for the development of the Islamic economy in the Mughal Sultanate. EIC also played a monopoly in India and outside India, resulting in the death of the Islamic economy. Eventually, many Muslim merchants and landlords turned to EIC for the sake of their business.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has an impact on the field of education. The use of technology in the field of education, one of which is an effort to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process. Elementary school teachers' understanding of technology is integrated with TPACK capabilities. TPACK skills are important for an elementary school teacher to have in the process of delivering learning. In conveying learning, media is needed, in this case the media used is technology-based learning media, namely augmented reality. This research aims to analyze the TPACK abilities of elementary school teachers in using technology-based learning media, namely augmented reality, as well as as a reference for carrying out further research related to developing augmented reality as a learning medium. The research was conducted qualitatively by involving ten elementary school teachers. Next, the ten teachers were used as research subjects who in this study are called participants. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to ten participants using Google Form and then analyzed using coding. The results of the research show that the TPACK abilities of ten artists have reached their maximum but their use in augmented reality is still very minimal. Thus, it can be concluded that TPACK's ability to use augmented reality as a learning medium for the ten participants is still very minimal and the next step is to develop augmented reality as a learning medium in elementary schools.

Abstract

Capaian pembelajaran mata pelajaran IPA pada Kurikulum Merdeka terdiri atas dua elemen, yaitu pemahaman IPA dan keterampilan proses. Hal tersebut mendorong dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dan peserta didik dalam mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains. Kegiatan ini mencakup 3 tahapan kegiatan, yakni tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan koordinasi antara tim PkM dan peserta PkM. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, dilakukan pelatihan dengan menerapkan teknik on and off-job training. Pelatihan dengan teknik on and off-job training meliputi pemberian materi dan workshop (off-job training), penerapan di kelas (on-job training), serta refleksi dan evaluasi (off-job training).  Pada tahap evaluasi, dilakukan penyebaran kuesioner kepada guru dan peserta didik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan respon positif terhadap kegiatan PkM baik dari guru maupun peserta didik. Guru menunjukkan persentase yang tinggi terkait kepuasan terhadap kegiatan PkM (93,33%), relevansi materi PkM dengan kebutuhan guru (90%), dan kebermanfaatan kegiatan PkM (90%). Persentase yang tinggi juga diberikan oleh peserta didik terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan PkM. The learning outcomes of the science in Kurikulum Merdeka consist of two elements, that is scientific understanding and process skills. This encourages the conduct of community service activities with the aim of providing training to teachers and students in developing science process skills. This activity consists of 3 stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, coordination between the team and participants are conducted. In the implementation stage, training is conducted using on and off-job training techniques. On and off-job training techniques includes providing materials and workshops (off-job training), implementation in classroom on-job training), as well as reflection and evaluation (off-job training). In the evaluation stage, questionnaires are distributed to teachers and students. The evaluation results show positive responses to the community service activities from both teachers and students.  Teachers show a high percentage of satisfaction with the activities (93,33%), the relevance of material to teacher’s needs (90%), and the benefits of activities (90%). Students also give a high percentage for the learning activities carried out in the community service activities.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru IPA di Kabupaten Garut mengenai pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berpendekatan STEM. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan utama, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan dilaksanakan koordinasi antara tim PKM dan perwakilan peserta. Pada tahap pelaksanaan menggunakan metode pelatihan dengan teknik on off, dengan rincian pemberian materi dan workshop (off job training), implementasi di Sekolah (on job training), refleksi dan evaluasi (off job training). Pada proses pelaksanaan kegiatan, secara umum guru dapat mengikuti dan menghasilkan luaran yang diharapkan. Pada tahap evaluasi dilakukan pemberian kuisioner dengan hasil bahwa secara umum guru memberikan respon positif terhadap kegaitan PkM, baik dari aspek kebermanfaatan materi, kesesuaian materi, kebermafaatan produk, dan kesesuaian kegiatan dengan kondisi lapangan.The community service activities aim to train science teachers in Garut Regency regarding developing STEM-approached science learning tools. This activity consists of 3 main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. At the preparatory stage, coordination was carried out between the PKM team and participant representatives. At the implementation stage, using the training method with on-off techniques, with details of providing materials and workshops (off-job training), implementation in schools (on-job training), reflection and evaluation (off-job training). In implementing activities, the teacher can generally follow and produce the expected output. At the evaluation stage, a questionnaire was administered with the result that, in general, the teacher gave a positive response to PkM activities, both in terms of the usefulness of the material, the suitability of the material, the use of the product, and the suitability of the action with field conditions.
