Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the practice of funeral prayer on student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic religious education and character education in class XI at the Napabarbaran Islamic Boarding School. The population in this study were students of the Napabarbaran Islamic Boarding School class XI totaling 125 students from 4 classes, namely (XI-A, XI-B, XI-C, XI-D). The technique used in this sampling was by using a random technique, where the author took a sample of 20% of the total number of students in class XI. So the sample in this study was 25 students. The results showed that the correlation value of rxy = (4.968) and the value of Df = 25-2 = 23 obtained rtable at a significance level of 5% of (1.71387) and the multiple regression test (R Square) of 0.719 meaning that there is an effect of the practice of funeral prayer on the learning outcomes of class XI students of 71.9%, and the remaining 28.1% is influenced by other variables. This, rxy is greater than rtabel so that it can be concluded that there is an influence of the practice of funeral prayers on student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects in class XI at the Napabarbaran Islamic Boarding School. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktik sholat jenazah terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam dan budi pekerti pada kelas XI di Pondok Pesantren Napabarbaran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Pondok Pesantren Napabarbaran kelas XI yang berjumlah 125 siswa dari 4 kelas yaitu (XI-A, XI-B, XI-C, XI-D). Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik acak, dimana penulis mengambil sampel 20 % dari jumlah siswa seluruh kelas XI. Maka sampel pada penelitian ini 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai korelasi rxy = (4,968) dan nilai Df = 25-2= 23 diperoleh rtabel pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar (1,71387) dan uji regresi berganda (R Square) sebesar 0,719 artinya terdapat pengaruh praktik sholat jenazah terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI sebesar 71,9%, dan 28,1% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya. Dengan demikian rxy lebih besar dari rtabel sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh praktik sholat jenazah terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam pada kelas XI di Pondok Pesantren Napabarbaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of character education on student ethics in Islamic religious education learning for class VII at the Napabarbaran Islamic Boarding School. The population in this study were all students of the Napabarbaran Islamic Boarding School class VII totaling 151 students from 5 classes, namely (VII-A, VII-B, VII-C, VII-D, VII-E). The technique used in this sampling was by using a random technique, where the author took a sample of 20% of the total number of students in class VII. So the sample in this study was 30 students. The results showed that the correlation value of rxy = (3.415) and the value of Df = 30-2 = 28 obtained rtable at a significant level of 5% of (1.701) and multiple regression test (R Square) of 0.558 meaning that there is an influence of character education on the ethics of class VII students of 55.8%, and the remaining 44.2% is influenced by other variables. Thus, rxy is greater than rtable so it can be concluded that there is an influence of character education on student ethics in learning Islamic religious education for class VII at the Napabarbaran Islamic Boarding School. Abstract

Students’ interest in learning Fiqih is often low due to monotonous and less interactive teaching methods. This study aims to explore the strategies used by Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in developing Fiqih learning media to enhance students’ interest in learning at SMP Anugrah, Tanjung Medan Village. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews with PAI teachers, classroom observations, and documentation of teaching materials. The results show that PAI teachers developed technology-based learning media such as animated videos, infographics, and interactive quiz applications. The use of these media increased student engagement in Fiqih learning. Students became more active, enthusiastic in discussions, and showed improvement in learning outcomes. Teachers also stated that digital media are more effective in delivering abstract concepts compared to traditional lecture methods. However, there are challenges in implementing these media, such as limited technological facilities and a lack of training for teachers. Therefore, support from the school is needed in providing technological infrastructure and training so that the use of technology-based learning media can be optimized. Abstrak Minat belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fiqih sering kali rendah akibat metode pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran Fiqih guna meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di SMP Anugrah, Desa Tanjung Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi kelas, dan dokumentasi materi ajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, seperti video animasi, infografis, dan aplikasi kuis interaktif. Penggunaan media ini meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran Fiqih. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, antusias berdiskusi, dan menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar. Guru juga menyatakan bahwa media digital lebih efektif dalam menyampaikan konsep abstrak dibandingkan metode ceramah. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam penerapannya, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas teknologi dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan dukungan sekolah dalam penyediaan infrastruktur dan pelatihan guru agar penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dapat berjalan optimal.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pelaksanaan kegiatan arisan di Desa Pandan Lagan, mengetahui bagaimana kontribusi arisan uang dalam menambah kesejahteraan keluarga dan bagaimana tinjauan perspektif ekonomi islam terhadap kegiatan arisan di Desa Pandan Lagan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian lapangan. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. pelaksanaan kegiatan arisan yang berada di Desa Pandan Lagan cukup baik dan pada saat pengundian dilaksanakan tanpa adanya kendala atau pun masalah. Arisan ini memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan keluarga, karena dana yang diperoleh dari kegiatan arisan tersebut dapat digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan, baik yang bersifat konsumtif maupun produktif. Di dalam sistem arisan yang berkembang dimasyarakat, baik itu arisan uang maupun barang diperbolehkan dalam Islam. Sebab dalam arisan tidak ada unsur penipuan (tadlis).

Abstract

A house yard is an open area around a residence. Even the smallest home garden can be utilized if it is managed well and will produce high-value vegetables. The problem that occurs today is that people leave empty land without managing it to produce high value. Therefore, to produce high-value vegetables, use limited land by cultivating vegetables using empty land belonging to one of the residents of Kampung Baru Village, Dusun Pagar Sari, this cultivation activity is called organic. As well as land use in organic vegetable farming which is more environmentally friendly. The aim of this article is to help the community's economy and produce a healthy environment by utilizing home gardens. The method used by this service is the method of socialization and planting training using the polybag technique, which includes preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The results obtained are that rural communities, especially housewives, gain experience and knowledge about organic vegetable cultivation techniques.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the understanding of science learning on the propagation of bombay silk flowers through the outdoor learning method for students with hearing disabilities. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation. The data produced were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that the outdoor learning method improves students' understanding. Based on the test, AG obtained a score of 92.3% while MA and KL 84.6%, Based on the results of the research that has been carried out and presented in chapter IV, it can be concluded that the understanding of science of bombay silk flower breeding material for Class IX deaf people at SLB N 1 Lubuk Basung can be improved through the outdoor learning method.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has led to innovations in learning methods that not only focus on procedural memorization but also develop Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). One alternative that can be developed is a Photomath-based e-module, an application that guides the systematic and interactive solving of mathematical problems. The purpose of this study is to develop a Photomath-based e-module on quadratic equations and test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in the learning process. This study uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of the steps of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the validation process show that the e-module is highly valid with an average score of 88.3%. Product testing shows progress in learning outcomes, as seen from the change in average scores from 52.3 on the pre-test to 78.6 on the post-test, with an N-Gain of 0.67 (moderate to high category). Student participation in learning activities increased from moderately active to very active, while student responses were very positive, with 85% considering the emodule interesting, easy to use, and helpful in understanding the material. The results of the study show that the emodule is valid, practical, and effective in improving higher-order thinking in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study examines the educational media used by the Prophet Muhammad within the framework of modern educational theory and its relevance for contemporary learning practices. This research aims to identify the types of media applied by the Prophet, analyze their alignment with current instructional concepts, and highlight their potential contribution to the development of education grounded in Islamic values. This research employs a library-based qualitative approach, with data validity ensured through credibility and dependability techniques, and content analysis used to interpret the collected data. The findings reveal that the Prophet Muhammad utilized a range of instructional media, including human-based media (gestures, physical demonstration, and role modeling), visual media (natural phenomena such as the sun, moon, trees, and rainfall), and audio media. These forms of media, although simple, effectively supported learning and reflect pedagogical principles remarkably consistent with modern instructional frameworks. The study concludes that the Prophet’s pedagogical practices offer a foundational model that predates modern theory and provides valuable insights for enhancing contemporary instructional media design. The novelty of this research lies in its systematic comparison between prophetic media practices and current educational theory, demonstrating their continued relevance. Practically, the study encourages educators and institutions to adopt multimodal, contextual, and learner-centered media approaches inspired by prophetic teaching strategies to improve instructional effectiveness today.
