Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted at the Maluku Province Tourism Office. The purposes of this study include (1) To analyze the effect of Person Job Fit on Work Engagement for Employees of the Maluku Province Tourism Office, (2) To analyze the effect of Job Crafting on Work Engagement for Employees of the Maluku Province Tourism Office. The results of this study show a positive relationship between Person Job Fit and Work Engagement. Person Job Fit is able to increase employee engagement with government agencies, so this will encourage Work Engagement for employees of the Maluku Province Tourism Office so that value is obtained and proven significant. Likewise, the relationship between Job Crafting and Work Engagement has positive results and is proven to be significant. This means that when Job Crafting can be carried out or carried out by employees of the Maluku Province Tourism Office, this will encourage an increase in Work Engagement at the Maluku Province Tourism Office. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Kantor Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Maluku. Tujuan penelitian ini diantaranya (1) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh Person Job Fit terhadap Work Engagement pada Pegawai Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Maluku, (2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh Job Crafting terhadap Work Engagement pada Pegawai Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Maluku. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan hubungan positif antara Person Job Fit dan Work Engagement. Person Job Fit mampu meningkatkan keterkaitan pegawai dengan instansi pemerintahan, maka hal tersebut akan mendorong Work Engagement pada pegawai Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Maluku dsehingga diperoleh nilai dan terbukti signifikan. Demikian juga dengan hubungan antara Job Crafting dan Work Engagement memiliki hasil yang positif dan terbukti signifikan. Hal ini berarti bahwa ketika Job Crafting dapat dilakukan atau dijalankan oleh pegawai Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Maluku, maka hal tersebut akan mendorong peningkatan Work Engagement pada Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Maluku.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effects of variable working hours, adversity quotient, and work motivation on Alfamidi employee performance in Nusaniwe District, Ambon City. The study's sample consisted of 47 Alfamidi employees chosen at random. The data was analyzed using SPSS Multiple Regression analysis, which employed descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that work motivation, adversity quotient, and working hours significantly positively impacted Alfamidi Employee Performance in Nusaniwe District, Ambon City. The study's findings indicate that Alfamidi Employee Performance in Ambon City's Nusaniwe District will benefit from increased working hours, the adversity quotient, and work motivation. Keywords: Working Hours, Adversity Quotient, Work Motivation, Employee performance Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jam kerja, adversity quotient, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Alfamidi di Kecamatan Nusaniwe, Kota Ambon. Sampel sebanyak 47 karyawan Alfamidi diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis Regresi Berganda SPSS, yang menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja, adversity quotient, dan jam kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Alfamidi di Kecamatan Nusaniwe, Kota Ambon. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan meningkatkan jam kerja, adversity quotient, dan motivasi kerja akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan Alfamidi di Kecamatan Nusaniwe, Kota Ambon. Abstract

Research aims to test tax knowledge, service quality and awareness in increasing taxpayer compliance. The data in this research was obtained from each taxpayer registered at KPP Pratama Merauke. This research method uses quantitative methods and the data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. This research uses primary data by conducting direct research in the field by giving questionnaires/question sheets to 100 respondents located at KPP Pratama Merauke. The research results show that: partially, the tax knowledge variable has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance, the service quality variable has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance, the awareness variable has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This article presents analysis and discussion of research data focusing on the students’  attitudes and perceptions of EMI program implementation strategies in the secondary schools level in South Sulawesi Province. Three Public International Standard Schools that run EMI and non-EMI Programs were selected as sample of the study. The data has been drawn from student questionnaire responses and student group interviews. Seventy seven (77) EMI students and 84 non-EMI students completed the questionnaire. Eight students from each school were selected as focus group interview participants. The data from questionnaire was analysed using SPSS Program, and the data from focus group interview was analysed using NVivo software. The study found that the Chi-square test result suggests that in these three schools, EMI and non-EMI programs have significant differences in their preferences (p=0.000).  EMI students preferred the EMI program and non-EMI students preferred non-EMI programs. Futhermore, the students said they experienced difficulties studied in the program. Despite the fact that students experienced difficulties in coping with the new learning situation in the EMI program, the majority felt satisfied with the program because they realised there were some benefits. The students interview responses also highlighted three factors detracting from EMI program implementation: lack of teachers’ language support; lack of English environment in the school; and bilingual learning materials. Detailed findings will be presented and their implications discussed.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the concept of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Indonesia and its application in business ventures. In general, Indonesia has recognised IPR and has passed a number of laws related to IPR protection. This research uses a literature approach method, where data is obtained from secondary sources, both from books, articles and various references related to this research. The results show that the application of IPR in Indonesia is still experiencing various problems, where many IPR results are violated. Conversely, law enforcement against IPR violations is still very weak. This is inseparable from the scope of IPR which is categorised as part of civil law. This means that if no one reports and feels harmed by the IPR violation, then the violation is not followed up or handled by the authorities.

Abstract

The Government always strives to improve the quality of public health services nationally, and one of these efforts is using social security. Utilizing health services using National Health Insurance can make it easier for people to seek treatment at no cost. With this national health insurance, people can enjoy the same service facilities and increase the effectiveness of health services at the Menggamat Community Health Center. Therefore, Community Health Centers are required to constantly make efforts and be committed to meeting the standards and regulations made by the Government. This research aims to determine what factors influence the use of the National Health Insurance Card (JKN) in increasing the effectiveness of health services at the Menggamat Community Health Center. This research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach, conducted in January 2024 with 105 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using the Chi-Square test. There is no significant relationship between the level of education and utilization of National Health Insurance (JKN) with a p-value = 0.631 > 0.05 OR value of 1.375 (CI = 0373-5.069), there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and utilization of JKN with a p-value = 0.023 < 0.05 OR value of 2.531 (CI = 1.126-5.687) then there is a relationship between people's perception of seeking medical treatment from a healer/shaman and the use of JKN with a p-value = 0.002 < 0.05 OR value of 0.265 (CI = 0.113-0618). Services at the Menggamat Community Health Center can be said to be effective based on several criteria for measuring effectiveness; however, public awareness in carrying out health checks at the Menggamat Community Health Center is still lacking based on the perception of the community who still seek treatment from healers/shamans.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between job satisfaction with job placement and self-efficacy variables in the TVRI Ambon environment. By applying quantitative methodology and associative design, the study aims to evaluate the impact of two predictor variables on a single response variable. From a total of 68 employees who are the population, sampling using the Slovin formula resulted in 40 respondents. Data was gathered through the use of a questionnaire, while data processing utilized multiple regression techniques through the SPSS program. The analysis demonstrated that job placement exerted a substantial impact on job satisfaction, while self efficacy did not emerge as a meaningful predictor of employees' contentment with their roles.

Abstract

Abstract: Users who live in urban areas find it increasingly difficult to find affordable housing and places to work. The absence of integrated infrastructure facilities in one area has resulted in an additional commuting duration which has an impact on its users. Urban communities do not have much time for social interaction because they spend much time on the road. The impact is that urban communities become lonely in the real world because they rarely interact physically. Most social interactions are carried out through cyberspace, not through spaces for real interaction. Therefore, co living exists to build an integrated ecosystem between spaces for its users. Co living is thought to be suitable for the millennial generation because of the flexibility of its rooms and still having areas of privacy. However, there are no standard co living model criteria so research is needed to identify co living spatial models. This study aims to identify spatial patterns of co living dwellings. The research method was carried out using a qualitative method through precedent studies to obtain indicator criteria for co living. The co living spatial model has spatial patterns that focus on seven variables. From these variables, it is obtained that all ages can use co-living users, private spaces are connected to shared areas or public areas, other supporting concepts support co living concepts, materials adapt to supporting concepts, can be in the form of new buildings or adaptive reuse as well as spatial views placing openings in frequently used rooms.Keyword: Co-Living, Affordability, Social interactionsAbstrak: Pengguna yang tinggal di perkotaan semakin sulit mendapatkan hunian dan tempat bekerja yang terjangkau.  Belum adanya sarana prasarana yang terintegrasi dalam satu kawasan mengakibatkan penambahan durasi commuting yang berdampak pada penggunanya. Masyarakat perkotaan tidak memiliki banyak waktu untuk berinteraksi sosial karena menghabiskan banyak waktu di jalan. Dampaknya masyarakat perkotaan menjadi kesepian di dunia nyata sebab jarang berinteraksi secara fisik. Kebanyakan interaksi sosial dilakukan melalui dunia maya bukan melalui ruang-ruang untuk berinterksi secara nyata. Oleh sebab itu, co living hadir untuk membangun ekosistem yang terintegrasi antar ruang untuk penggunanya. Co living diperkirakan cocok untuk generasi milenial karena kefleksibilitasan ruang-ruangnya dan tetap memiliki area privasi. Namun, saat ini belum ada standar  kriteria model co living sehingga dibutuhkan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi model spasial co living. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola spasial hunian co living. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatatif melalui studi preseden untuk mendapatkan indikator kriteria dari co living. Model spasial co living memiliki pola ruang yang berfokus pada tujuh variabel. Dari variabel tersebut didapatkan pengguna co living dapat digunakan segala umur, ruang privat terhubung dengan area bersama atau area publik, konsep co living  didukung oleh konsep penunjang lainnya, material menyesuaikan konsep penunjang, dapat berupa bangunan baru maupun adaptive reuse serta view spasial meletakkan bukaan pada ruangan yang sering digunakan.Kata Kunci: Co living, Keterjangkauan, Interaksi sosial

Abstract

The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at the Maluku Province National Narcotics Agency. This research aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on employee performance at the Maluku Province National Narcotics Agency with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research uses quantitative research methods with questionnaires distributed to the National Narcotics Agency of Maluku Province, totaling 58 people. The technique used in sampling uses saturated sampling or census. The final sample in the study consisted of 43 respondents. The analytical tool used in this research uses SmartPLS version 4.0 analysis with the structural equation modeling or SEM analysis method. The results of this study explain that there is a positive and significant influence between emotional intelligence and employee performance. There is a positive and significant influence between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance and there is a positive and significant influence of job satisfaction mediating emotional intelligence on employee performance.

Abstract

Kompetensi abad ke-21 menekankan penguasaan keterampilan 4C, yakni berpikir kritis, kreatif, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Kurikulum Merdeka mengintegrasikan kebutuhan tersebut melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), yang relevan dengan isu lingkungan dan dapat diimplementasikan melalui dengan pembelajaran berbasis STEAM (Sains, Teknologi, Teknik, dan Matematika). Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengintegrasikan pembelajaran STEAM yang berjalan beriringan seiring dengan penerapan P5 di sekolah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru tentang penyusunan modul P5 berbasis STEAM terintegrasi etnosains dan memotivasi guru sebagai pendidik agar terampil dalam menyusun modul P5 yang sesuai. Metode penelitian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop/pelatihan, dan pendampingan dalam membuat modul (P5) berbasis STEAM terintegrasi etnosains. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, dan evaluasi. Data pendukung penelitian, yaitu pengisian pretest-posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,57 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan sebagai bahan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan, peneliti memberikan angket respon. Kegiatan pendampingan penyusunan modul P5 berbasis STEAM yang terintegrasi etnosains memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi peserta, terutama dalam meningkatkan pemahaman Guru IPA tentang konsep pembelajaran yang inovatif dan relevan dengan konteks budaya lokal. 21st-century competencies emphasize the mastery of four key skills: critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. The Independent Curriculum addresses these needs through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), which is particularly relevant to environmental issues and can be effectively implemented through STEAM-based learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Therefore, it is essential to integrate STEAM learning, which complements the implementation of P5 in schools. The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance teachers' knowledge and skills in developing STEAM-based P5 modules that integrate ethnoscience and to motivate teachers as educators to develop appropriate P5 modules. The research method is implemented through workshops/training and mentoring in creating STEAM-based modules (P5) integrated with ethnoscience. The results of the community service implementation are carried out through three stages: preparation, implementation of community service activities, and evaluation. The supporting data from the research, specifically the pretest-posttest filling, showed an increase in participants' knowledge, with an N-Gain value of 0.57, which falls within the moderate category. As an evaluation material for the implementation of the activity, the researcher provided a response questionnaire. The mentoring activity for preparing the STEAM-based P5 module, integrated with ethnoscience, offered significant benefits for participants, especially in enhancing the understanding of Science Teachers about innovative and relevant learning concepts in the local cultural context.
