Abstract

Body odor of human skin usually occur due to excessive production of sweat glands couples with the presence of bacteria. The active ingredient to prevent body odor are chemicals materials from alum or sodium in order to have negative effects such as skin irritation, Alzheimer disease, prostate and breast cancer. Natural materials technology has been development as an active agent by using cucumber (Cucumis sativus .L). The purpose of this research to conduct a deodorant roll on a stable and qualified physical quality and also develop the use of extract cucumber as an antibacterial Staphylococcus epidermidis. Cucumber extraction has been done by maceration with ethanol 70% for 4 days and then divided into three formulation extract (5%, 10%, and 20% (b/v)). All of the formulations has been tested by zone inhibition, organoleptic, homogenity, pH, viscosity and irritation test. The results given that all of the formulations meet the quality requirements of physical and the best formulation extract 20% able to inhibit bacterial by 26 mm as a largest diameter of the inhibitory zone. In addition the stability of deodorant roll on form were performed accelerated stability test for 35 days at room temperature (28°C) and 40°C. The test results indicate that the stability of the extract 10% quali ed physical quality during storage at room temperature (28°C) and high temperature (40°C) for 35 days. While in the extract 20% at high temperature (40oC) physical changes characterized by the deposition. Keyword : cucumber, deodorant roll on, antibacteria

Abstract

Along with the development of the industrial sector, without realizing it, this raises new problems, namely environmental pollution by liquid, solid, gas, and B3 (Toxic and Hazardous Materials) waste.  The purpose of this research is to increase the selling value of waste and manage waste so as not to pollute the environment.  This research uses the Practice-led Research method, which is a scientific work derived from ongoing practice research by creating new works through research and practice carried out On this occasion, the researcher will create an accessory made of styrofoam material and will be published in a Unesa Fashion Creation Title performance in 2023 which carries the big theme of BHUMIBRAMA. The result of this study is an accessory in the shape of a buffalo head with styrofoam as the main material.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in Canva-assisted Pancasila Education learning with the Two Stay Two Stray Cooperative Learning model for class IV students at SD Negeri 06 Pulai Anak Air, Bukittinggi City. The research used is a type of classroom action research (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this research were 26 class IV teachers and students. Data collection techniques include observation, tests and non-tests. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research showed an increase, in the first cycle the teaching module obtained an average of 84.69% and in the second cycle it was 94.44%. The first cycle teacher aspect obtained an average of 82.14% and the second cycle was 96.42%. Aspect of students in cycle I obtained an average of 80.35% and in cycle II it was 96.42%. Student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 77.78% and in cycle II it increased to 90.5%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Two Stay Two Stray Cooperative Learning model assisted by Canva can improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning.

Abstract

The paper reports the in vivo and in vitro antidiabetic activity of bioactive compounds composed of ethyl acetate fractions from Sungkai (Peronema canescens Jack). The fractions are obtained from vacuum liquid chromatography (F1, F2 and F3). Phytochemicals screening, UV-Vis and FTIR spectrometry analysis is applied to detect secondary metabolite composed of the fractions. In addition, in vitro antidiabetic capability is measured inhibiting a-amylase activity, and in vivo evaluation is conducted using diabetic rat's model induced by alloxan. It was found that fraction collected as a white precipitate. The phytochemical analysis indicated positive for flavonoid. UV-Vis and FTIR spectra support the data. Moreover, capability of the fractions to inhibit a-glucosidase activity in the range 5-100 ppm does not show the activity. Conversely, the in vivo evaluation from fraction 2 at concentration 600 mg/Kg of body weight has antidiabetic in 50.16%. This result comparable to that of glibenclamide as a control. This finding lead to further evaluation for structural elucidation.

Abstract

Learning mathematics is very important as a guide in problem solving, logical reasoning in everyday life. In increasing the desire of students in the field of mathematics, which in most students' views is learning that is difficult to understand and scary. so that an innovation is needed along with the times of science and technology in the form of using interactive learning models with the help of media according to the existing material. the use of interactive learning models can foster self-efficacy and motivation in students so that they are able to implement mathematics in solving problems in everyday life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes in mathematics learning of fourth grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the cooperative model of think pair share type assisted by wordwall-based media on student learning outcomes. The method used was quasi experimental type non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques are done through test and non-test techniques. Hypothesis testing using simple liner regression with the results showed that the application of the cooperative model of think pair share type assisted by wordwall-based media was able to increase students' active participation, understanding of mathematical concepts and learning outcomes significantly, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the cooperative model of think pair share type assisted by wordwall-based media on the learning outcomes of mathematics class IV elementary school.
