Abstract

The design of this application aims to design the menu at the new Android-based Muaro restaurant as an effort to overcome the problem of an ineffective and efficient ordering system. The conventional menu ordering process affects delays and errors in reading orders by the chef. Application design using the android platform. The research method uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a Waterfall model approach which consists of 5 stages, namely, a) planning b) analysis c) design d) implementation e) maintenance. The programming language used is PHP, and the database application uses MySql data processing. The system design tool uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method using 4 (four) diagrams according to design needs, namely Use Case, Activity Diagram, Class Diagram, Sequence Diagram. This android-based menu design results in a menu ordering process by consumers and knowing the total payment. This application also makes it easier for the chef to know the orders that must be made, as well as produce sales transactions that are fast, accurate, and informative. This menu application can improve menu ordering services by consumers. In general, this application can overcome various problems such as not ordering orders, errors reading orders by the chef.

Abstract

Integrasi etnosains dalam pembelajaran IPA merupakan pendekatan yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sains di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi dan tantangan integrasi etnosains, dampaknya terhadap kompetensi era modern, serta kesesuaiannya dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Metode tinjauan sistematis digunakan untuk menganalisis 24 artikel penelitian terkait. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa integrasi etnosains berpotensi menciptakan pembelajaran kontekstual, namun menghadapi tantangan dalam pengembangan profesional guru dan penyesuaian kurikulum. Dampak positif terlihat pada peningkatan hasil belajar (effect size 0.65-0.82), pemahaman konsep (0.58-0.75), kemampuan berpikir kritis (0.55-0.70), dan apresiasi budaya (0.60-0.72). Pendekatan ini juga selaras dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila, tercermin dalam pengembangan aspek spiritual (0.58-0.72), kemanusiaan (0.55-0.68), persatuan (0.62-0.75), kerakyatan (0.54-0.70), dan keadilan sosial (0.52-0.65). Model pembelajaran STEAM, inkuiri, discovery, dan berbasis masalah/proyek terbukti efektif dalam implementasi. Disimpulkan bahwa integrasi etnosains merupakan strategi menjanjikan untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda Indonesia menghadapi tantangan era modern dengan tetap memperkuat identitas dan karakter bangsa.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is a constructivist learning model that emphasizes active student engagement through real-world projects. Implementation in vocational education often faces challenges such as limited time, high material costs, and procedural errors. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating vlogs into Project-Based Learning, or Project-Based Learning with Vlog (PjBLV), in improving learning readiness, reducing procedural errors, and enhancing students’ culinary practicum outcomes. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group, the research involved 26 third-semester students of the Hospitality Management Program at Universitas Negeri Padang, divided equally into an experimental group (PjBLV) and a control group (PjBL). The instruments consisted of a pre-test, essay-based post-test, and practicum assessment, all validated and tested for reliability. At the same time, data were analyzed using N-Gain and independent t-tests at a 0.05 significance level. Findings revealed that the experimental group achieved a higher post-test mean score (88.67) than the control group (84.42), with an N-Gain of 80.46% categorized as high, indicating significant improvement in learning outcomes. The consistent distribution of scores demonstrated that PjBLV benefitted students across different ability levels, thereby reducing performance gaps. PjBLV proved more effective than conventional PjBL by promoting time efficiency, minimizing errors, and optimizing resources. The implications suggest that PjBLV is a promising pedagogical model for broader application in vocational education. Future studies are recommended to examine its impact on long-term skill retention and to explore the integration of interactive, technology-enhanced vlog-based learning for more personalized instruction.

Abstract

The purpose of providing assistance through PKM activities is to improve the skills of craftsmen in making products from fabric waste and ICT-based marketing systems in the KWT Salimah craftsmen group in Sungai Abang Lubuk Alung nagari. The PKM method used is education with a lecture-discussion approach and Learning By Doing through practical work. Counselling assistance on how to use digital devices to market and increase the sales volume of KWT Salimah merchandise which has only been done conventionally or offline. This counselling contains education about using digital devices wisely and appropriately and creating social media and e-commerce whose designation is to sell online creatively. The results obtained from this extension activity are the increase in digital knowledge and skills of KWT Salimah members regarding digital literacy, information, and media as well as a change in mindset about business in the industrial era 4.0. Increased knowledge and skills in processing fabric waste with new products that are directly practised can be achieved. The results of this PKM service can also improve and increase the knowledge and skills of KWT Salimah members in developing a fabric waste handicraft business which can have an impact on improving the household economy of residents of Sungai Abang nagari, Lubuk Alung Padang Pariaman

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the SIAKAMA application in the Apprenticeship Industrial Program. This program was created as a SIAKAMA application to overcome hurdles during the monitoring and evaluation stages. At the monitoring stage, supervising lecturers and field supervisors can use the SIAKAMA application to monitor all Apprenticeship Industrial program student activities in the field, resulting in a good and smooth communication and coordination system. At the evaluation stage, the supervising lecturer and field supervisors in the SIAKAMA application can conduct assessments based on student activities in the field, including daily evaluations and final assessments after the Apprenticeship Industrial Program has been finished. This study employs a quantitative descriptive technique, the Research & Development method, and the 4D development model. A sample of Apprenticeship Industrial Program students from five departments of the Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University, was used in this study. The SIAKAMA application was found to be valid with a value of 0.876, practical with a value of 78.67, and effective with a value of 81.22% after data analysis using SPSS 25. This suggests that implementing the SIAKAMA application to enhance the work competency of Apprenticeship Industrial Program students is viable. The Apprenticeship Industrial Program model represents a modification of the Three Set of Actor development model, yet it hasn't been incorporated with the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Engaging in this Program enables students to acquire 4C skills, including Creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, and Collaboration.

Abstract

Bandar built village is one of the villages located in the Lubuk Kilangan sub-district, Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Bandar Create Village is also a Village with potential in agriculture, plantations, animal husbandry, and trade in Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. Associative causal research methods quantitative techniques. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. The population in this study were all RT, RW in Bandar Create Village, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City. With a total of 61 samples that are representative of the existing population. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the influence on the emotional intelligence variable (X) with Decision Making (Y) was 0.245 or 24.5% while the remaining 20.2% was influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

The assessment sheets at vocational schools still use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word programs. After that, the assessment sheets will be filled in by teachers in the field of study and when filling out report cards is still very prone to errors, manual report cards can have varying or less consistent formats due to limited time, teachers are in a hurry. -haste in providing assessments and errors in writing or inputting data in making manual reports can affect the accuracy and consistency of information. The research method used is by analyzing the current system and identifying needs using the system development life cycle (SDLC) with UML design tools. This information system was created to make the process of creating report cards at Al-Anhar Bayang Vocational School easier and more effective and efficient because all data has been stored in database form and produces more accurate report card output as expected. The Online Report Card information system at Al-Anhar Bayang Vocational School has been computerized so that it can save time and energy compared to the old system and report cards are more effective and efficient

Abstract

Perpustakaan merupakan bagian dari sumber belajar yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap perguruan tinggi. Karena mahasiswa/i dengan mudah mencari informasi atau ilmu pengetahuan melalui perpustakaan. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi membuat manusia berfikir untuk dapat bekerja lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satunya yaitu membuat sistem konvensional menjadi sistem yang terkomputerisasi. Dengan berbasis web, perpustakaan dapat lebih efektif dan efisien dalam pencarian dan pemesanan buku. Pada penelitian ini dirancang suatu sistem informasi berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP MySQL dengan Metode Waterfall. Dengan sistem ini, diharapkan mampu mengatasi berbagai kebutuhan dari mahasiswa/i untuk mencari buku dan melakukan peminjaman serta memudahkan administrasi kampus dalam sirkulasi peminjaman buku dan pembuatan laporan. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan penulis, program aplikasi ini dapat berjalan dengan baik, dan dapat menggantikan sistem lama yang masih di tuliskan ke dalam buku.

Abstract

The service system at the I-03 Padang Military Court in submitting services is using the SAIYO application (Online Service Information Administration System). The SAIYO application is an online service that utilizes the business whatsapp application or whatsapp group to apply for services at the Miluter Court I-03 Padang. The process of submitting the SAIYO application service is carried out in stages and the creation of the SAIYO application service report is made conventionally. Therefore, a Website-Based Service Information System was designed with the System Development Life Cicle (SDLC) system design method using the waterfal method, namely needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and tools for designing the Unified Modelling Langguage (UML) system which requires a Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Class Diagram, Sequence Diagram. The methods in this study are observation, interviews and literature studies. The result of this research is that the Website-Based Service Information System is expected to help in the process of submitting services and making service reports accurately and accurately.

Abstract

The student graduation information system is integral to managing and carrying out school information system activities. Especially in Junior High Schools (SMP) today, many still have not used a website-based information system due to the new internet network entering this area. In meeting the admin’s need, in particular, to deal with the problem of passing the distribution of receiving information or announcements, documentation of activities, teaching materials, and registration of new student participants have not run optimally as expected. In the system development method in this research, the author uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model approach, which consists of 5 stages: analysis, design, implementation, testing, and implementation. The system design tool uses the UML (Unified Modeling Language) method using use-case diagrams according to system requirements. In developing the SDLC method in this study, the authors used it until the design stage. The results obtained from this research are a Web-based application system for new students’ graduation. With this tool, several related files will be generated. This new system can improve the quality of further student admissions, graduation information and school information through the website.
