Abstract

Menari adalah kegiatan mengasyikkan yang dilakukan di segala usia karena Indonesia memiliki berbagai macam kebudayaan serta kesenian di dalamnya. Anak-anak di zaman sekarang kurang rasa ingin tahu terhadap kesenian daerahnya sendiri khususnya seni tari tradisional. Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) BC Mitra Amanda yang berlokasi di Dusun Sanggrahan Desa Trayu, Kecamatan Banyudono, Kabupaten Boyolali sebagai penyelenggara Pendidikan siswa berkebutuhan khususnya tunarungu. Siswa tunarungu di SLB menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 yaitu pelajaran tematik tentang seni budaya dan keterampilan salah satunya pengenalan tari tradisional Indonesia. Dalam proses belajar mengajarnya masih menerapkan cara konvesional dan teoritis sehingga siswa merasa cepat bosan dan kurang bersemangat. Cara yang menarik perlu dibuat dengan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi untuk proses belajar dan bermain yang menyenangkan berbentuk game edukasi pembelajaran untuk kelas 6 SDLB dengan tema : Game edukasi pengenalan tari tradisional Indonesia. Game ini dikembangkan menggunakan software Construct 2. Untuk pembuatan desain objek memakai software Adobe Photoshop CS6. Isi dari aplikasi ini menampilkan materi gambar tari, nama tari, dan asal tari. Dengan tampilan yang menarik, aplikasi ini membantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran, serta wali murid dalam proses belajar siswa di rumah. Pengujian aplikasi game ini berdasarkan kuesioner menggunakan metode User Acceptance Test (UAT) dengan 30 responden yang menghasilkan persentase 87% dimana aplikasi game ini dikategorikan sangat baik dan dapat diterima.

Abstract

Observing the great potential of the internet in rural environment, village government in Kragan, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency, has established internet network that residents could use with relatively lower price compared to that of other internet providers. Even though the internet connection has adequate speed, it still has obstacles specifically in managing the internet subscribers. Every villager who will subscribe to the internet must go to the village office and fill out a registration form and then the form is archived. Although the method is effective, it is vulnerable to customer data and information loss and is not flexible for residents who carry out their daily activities in a place that is relatively far from the village office. In addition, when there is an internet interruption, customers must send short messages to administrator, and then it will be inspected by a technician. Every reported problem is not stored properly, as a result, administrators cannot monitor whether customer complaints have been resolved. To overcome these two problems, a web-based application that is flexible and can be used by users with various computer platforms is proposed. The application development follows the waterfall model. The results of testing using black-box technique show that the functionality of the application is running with a failure percentage of 0%. Meanwhile, the test to determine usability level of the application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method showed an acceptance rate of 66,2%, meaning that the application is suitable for use even though training for the users is needed.

Abstract

Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Yayasan Asuh Anak-Anak Tuna(YAAT) Surakarta is a school that focuses on educating children with deaf impairment and mentally retarded disabilities in Surakarta. Less interest in learning and the lack of alternative learning media are problems that arise in the school, one of which is regarding the learning of hijaiyah letters. The purpose of this research is to provide a solution for schools to deal with existing problems by developing educational games to increase interest in learning for deaf and mentally retarded students and to become an alternative learning medium for teachers to students. This game was designed using Construct 2 software and for its manufacture using several steps, such as Analysis, Application Design, Application Implementation, and Testing. This game is made as easy as possible so that students can easily use it. The built application consists of several menus, namely materials, playing and quizzes. After the application has been demonstrated, the game is played by students alternately, then students and teachers are given a questionnaire to test the performance and usability of the game. The results of the blackbox test showed that the application was in accordance with what was expected by the application developer, and the results of the User Acceptance Test obtained an average value of 91.908%, indicating that this game makes it easier for teachers to convey material and provides convenience for students in understanding learning material.
