Abstract

This research departs from the importance of increasing spiritual intelligence through the application of religious culture in schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of religious culture in increasing the spiritual intelligence of students at SMK Negeri 1 Sampit. This study uses a qualitative method that produces descriptive data. The subjects in this study were students of SMK Negeri 1 Sampit totaling 7 people and the informants were 2 teachers of Islamic Religious Education, 1 homeroom teacher, and the principal. The results of this study indicate that the application of religious culture at SMK Negeri 1 Sampit, namely (a) 3S (Smile, Greet, Greeting) can be realized by saying "Assalamualaikum" to students who are Muslim and saying "good morning" to students who are non-Muslims. (b) Congregational prayers are held in the mushalla 3 times in congregation. (c) Tadarrus Al-Qur'an is accustomed before starting PAI learning for about 5-10 minutes which is applied through teaching and learning activities in class and can be applied through PRIS extracurricular activities. (d) Dressing up to cover the aurat has been applied by female students who are Muslim because of the effect of the learning methodology applied through the application of tadarrus Al-Qur'an which requires them to dress to cover their aurat.

Abstract

Classroom management is one of the important skills that must be mastered by teachers, because it can support success in the learning process. This study aims to explore the application of classroom management innovation in Fiqh learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Huda 1 Palangka Raya. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, and data validation techniques using source triangulation. The results showed that classroom management innovation was carried out through four main aspects, namely understanding the situation and conditions of students, applying varied learning methods, using learning media, and structuring the learning environment. Teachers adjust learning strategies to student conditions, apply interactive methods such as discussion and question and answer with rewards, and utilize visual media and teaching aids. In addition, seating arrangements are made to improve student comfort and interaction. This research shows that innovative strategies in classroom management can create a conducive learning atmosphere and improve student engagement and understanding.

Abstract

Mayoritas wilayah Indonesia dibatasi oleh perairan pada fitur geografisnya. Kondisi ini membentuk korelasi antar wilayah dalam hal pergerakan manusia dan distribusi produk melalui jalur kargo laut. Masalah yang terkait dengan keadaan ini adalah insiden kecelakaan maritim yang berulang yang mengakibatkan kematian awak kapal atau penumpang. Pembentukan Kesatuan Penjagaan Laut dan Pantai (KPLP) oleh pemerintah untuk menjamin keamanan dan keselamatan pelayaran sesuai dengan UU No.17 Tahun 2008 tentang Pelayaran. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana KPLP telah mengimplementasikan kebijakan pengawasan keselamatan pelayaran di daerah lingkungan kepentingan (DLKp) Kantor Unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan Kelas II Soa Sio Kota Tidore Kepulauan, Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, penelitian kualitatif menjadi metode investigasi. Berbagai metode pengumpulan data dilakukan, termasuk observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Proses analisis data meliputi beberapa tahap, termasuk reduksi dan penyaringan data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk memastikan keabsahan data, digunakan metode triangulasi.Temuan akhir dari penelitian ini: Pertama, pelaksanaan kebijakan pengawasan keselamatan pelayaran oleh KPLP di daerah lingkungan kepentingan (DLKp) Kantor Unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan Kelas II Soa Sio Kota Tidore Kepulauan sudah cukup baik, meskipun belum optimal. Ada beberapa kekurangan yang perlu diperbaiki untuk mengurangi risiko kecelakaan. Implementasi kebijakan pengawasan keselamatan pelayaran oleh KPLP terhambat oleh dua faktor: kurangnya pemahaman personil terhadap uraian tugas dan kerangka hukum yang mengatur pelaksanaan tanggung jawab. Selain itu, kurangnya pemahaman para pelaksana dan pengguna jasa transportasi laut tentang elemen-elemen penting dalam pengawasan keselamatan pelayaran oleh petugas KPLP berkontribusi pada pendekatan yang bandel dan lalai dalam operasi pelayaran, yang dibuktikan dengan minimnya kepatuhan mereka. Hal ini mempengaruhi kerentanan terhadap bencana yang mungkin terjadi selama pelayaran.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aimed to capture the student engagement and motivation in learning the Al-Qur’an Hadith  are often hindered by the abstract nature of religious material and the continued reliance on conventional instruction. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital video media in increasing affective, cognitive, and behavioral engagement of students in Al-Qur'an Hadith learning at Madrasahs in Central Kalimantan. Design/methods/approach – This study employed a convergent parallel mixed-methods design, integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data were collected from 155 students at MAN in Central Kalimantan using pre- and post-tests and analyzed through descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were obtained from interviews with five informants and analyzed thematically based on engagement indicators. Findings – The results show a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, with an average increase of 15.6% after the implementation of digital video media. This media enhances students’ motivation, focus, comprehension of abstract religious concepts, and multidimensional engagement, thereby improving the effectiveness and quality of Al-Qur’an Hadith instruction in digital learning environments. Research implications/limitations – The findings are context-specific to two Madrasahs in Central Kalimantan and may not be generalizable to all Islamic educational contexts. Variations in teachers’ digital literacy and students’ motivation levels may influence the effectiveness of implementation. Originality/value – This study offers empirical and pedagogical evidence on multimedia integration in Islamic education, demonstrating that digital video media enhances cognitive achievement as well as affective and behavioral engagement in Qur’an Hadith learning, thereby contributing a contextualized model for Islamic education in Central Kalimantan’s digital learning context

Abstract

Generation Z is a group that grows along with the development of digital technology, so social media has become an important part of their lives. Social media is not only used as a means of communication and entertainment, but also as a space to build and display self-identity, including in the aspect of religiosity. However, the intensity of social media use often causes various psychological problems. The urge to conform to evolving trends, the desire to gain social recognition, and the habit of comparing oneself to other users have the potential to trigger stress, anxiety, and a decrease in confidence. On the other hand, the existence of religious content on social media can function as a source of inner peace, spiritual reflection, and strengthening religious values. This study uses a qualitative approach to examine in depth the influence of social media on lifestyle, mental health conditions, and the process of forming spiritual identity in Generation Z. The results of the study show that social media has an ambivalent role, namely as a factor that can cause psychological pressure as well as a medium that supports spiritual growth. An individual's ability to filter and interpret digital content is a key factor in maintaining a balance between psychological well-being and spirituality in the digital era.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of students caused by the lack of variation in models and learning media used by teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence, magnitude of influence, improvement and magnitude of improvement in student learning outcomes through the application of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) type cooperative learning model assisted by wordwall media. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class VIII-C as the experimental class and class VIII-F as the control class and sampling using random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used in the form of pretest and posttest essay tests. Data analysis using the t-test to determine the difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes, the effect size test to determine the magnitude of the effect of the treatment, and the N-Gain test used to measure the magnitude of the increase in learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate a significant influence with an effect size value of 0,39% indicating a high influence and an N-Gain of 0.719246 shows that there is a significant increase for the experimental class. Thus, the cooperative learning model of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) type assisted by wordwall media has proven to be influential and effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes significantly. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi model dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh, besarnya pengaruh, peningkatan dan besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) berbantuan media wordwall. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen, khususnya pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas VIII-C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-F sebagai kelas kontrol dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes essay pretest dan posttest. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, uji effect size untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh perlakuan, dan uji N-Gain yang digunakan untuk mengukur besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai effect size sebesar 0,39% yang menunjukkan pengaruh yang tinggi dan N-Gain sebesar 0,719246 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan untuk kelas eksperimen. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) berbantuan media wordwall terbukti berpengaruh dan efektif dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika burnout akademik pada mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu dengan menyoroti konflik peran dan regulasi diri dalam pengalaman akademik mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang menjalani peran ganda sebagai pelajar dan pekerja berpotensi mengalami tekanan psikologis akibat tuntutan akademik dan pekerjaan yang berlangsung secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi untuk memahami pengalaman subjektif mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tekanan peran ganda tersebut. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah enam mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam UIN Palangka Raya yang bekerja paruh waktu dan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik fenomenologis melalui proses pengkodean, pengelompokan tema, dan interpretasi makna pengalaman partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik peran antara tuntutan kuliah dan pekerjaan memicu munculnya kelelahan fisik dan emosional, penurunan motivasi belajar, serta kesulitan dalam mengatur waktu. Benturan jadwal antara aktivitas akademik dan pekerjaan menjadi salah satu pemicu utama munculnya tekanan psikologis pada mahasiswa pekerja. Namun demikian, mahasiswa juga menunjukkan berbagai strategi regulasi diri, seperti pengelolaan waktu, aktivitas coping emosional, serta pemanfaatan dukungan sosial dari keluarga dan teman untuk mempertahankan keseimbangan antara tuntutan akademik dan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Generation Alpha is a group born since 2010 and growing up in an environment closely linked to the development of digital technology. This situation has a significant influence on the formation of children's religiosity, both in terms of religious knowledge (cognitive), attitudes and experiences (affective), and religious practices in daily life. This study aims to examine the development of religiosity in Generation Alpha children in the context of education in the digital age and to identify the various challenges and opportunities arising from the use of technology in religious learning. This study uses a qualitative approach through library research, utilizing various sources such as scientific journals, books, and relevant previous research. The study's findings indicate that the digital era offers ample opportunities to enhance children's religiosity through the use of technology-based learning media, digital da'wah content, and easy access to religious information. However, the presence of inappropriate content, interference from social media, and a lack of guidance from parents and teachers have the potential to hinder the internalization of religious values. Therefore, harmonious collaboration between families, educational institutions, and the community is needed to develop religiously oriented digital literacy and adaptive learning strategies to ensure that the religious development of Generation Alpha children remains aligned with Islamic values.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah melahirkan fenomena Religious Fear of Missing Out (Religious FoMO), yakni perasaan cemas ketika seseorang merasa tertinggal dari tren atau praktik keagamaan yang sedang populer di media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Religious FoMO dan Subjective Well-being pada siswa SMA yang tinggal di kawasan perkotaan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner skala Likert kepada 22 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment untuk melihat hubungan antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang kuat dan signifikan antara Religious FoMO dengan Subjective Well-being, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai korelasi (r) sebesar -0,642 dan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,001 (p < 0,05). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi intensitas Religious FoMO, maka semakin rendah tingkat kesejahteraan subjektif siswa. Hal ini menegaskan perlunya penguatan pendidikan agama yang berfokus pada internalisasi nilai spiritual daripada sekadar mengikuti arus tren digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan pemanfaatan kecerdasan artifisial (Artificial Intelligence/AI) terhadap kualitas penulisan akademik mahasiswa pada Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam. Penelitian menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Penelitian ini melibatkan 34 responden yang valid dari Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam di UIN Palangkaraya yang telah menggunakan AI dalam kegiatan penulisan akademik. Data dihimpun melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji reliabilitas, korelasi Pearson, serta regresi linear sederhana. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,897 untuk variabel pemanfaatan AI dan 0,905 untuk kualitas penulisan ilmiah, yang menandakan tingkat reliabilitas yang tinggi. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan (r = 0,648; p < 0,05). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) yang mencapai 0,420 mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan AI memberikan kontribusi sebesar 42% terhadap peningkatan kualitas penulisan akademik. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa AI dapat meningkatkan aspek teknis dalam penulisan akademik apabila digunakan secara etis dan bertanggung jawab. Namun demikian, AI sebaiknya berfungsi sebagai alat pendukung dan tidak menggantikan proses pemikiran kritis mahasiwa.
