Abstract

The emergence of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 has had a major impact on the world of education, including on the formation of student character. This research aims to find out why students are reluctant to follow the habits that have been implemented at school, such as dhuha prayers in congregation, reading the Koran before learning and other religious habits. Apart from that, this research also aims to identify the causes and impacts of ethics shown by students in their interactions with teachers and peers. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This research involved PAI teachers and class IX students as the main respondents. The research results show that character education strategies are implemented through routine activities, role modeling and character cultivation. Routine activities are carried out through religious activities such as reading the Koran before learning and praying Dhuha together. The teacher's example plays an important role in forming students' attitudes of discipline and responsibility. Meanwhile, character cultivation helps students. This activity aims to make students aware of religious values, especially in training to be able to give alms. However, this research also found challenges in character education, especially in maintaining consistent student behavior outside of school and the minimal use of technology in character learning. The conclusion of this research confirms that the implementation of PAI in forming students' Islamic personalities in the industrial era 5.0 requires an innovative approach that integrates religious values with technology. Therefore, adaptive strategies are needed, including the use of digital media to support more effective and sustainable character learning

Abstract

The government has the responsibility to prevent conflicts from arising due to cultural differences and social habits. Therefore, the educational policies developed need to reflect this spirit Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, namely unity in diversity. As a form of effort to increase inclusivity in formal education, the government is building schools that are open to all students, regardless of religion, tribe or ethnicity. However, challenges remain. One of them is the delivery of religious lessons in schools which sometimes tends to instill an exclusive understanding that one's own beliefs are the only truth, while the teachings of other religions are considered wrong. This risks giving rise to prejudice, emotional distance, and even hatred between followers of different religions. At SMA Negeri 2 Metro, Islamic Religious Education teachers play an important role in two main aspects of the educational process. First, they convey Islamic teaching material proportionally and contextually in the classroom. Second, they instill universal religious values such as mutual respect, cooperation and tolerance for differences in students' daily lives. Schools also provide space for students to develop as individuals who are able to adapt to social diversity. Through this process, students are taught to accept differences, build trust between others, foster mutual understanding, and be open and trusting in establishing social relationships. In this way, multicultural education is not just a discourse, but a real practice that is able to prevent conflict and violence in social life.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine how the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model can increase the learning motivation of class IX students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Tri Bhakti Assalam Integrated Islamic Middle School. The learning motivation of class IX students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Tri Bhakti Assalam Integrated Islamic Middle School is still low due to the lack of encouragement to study. 'This condition encourages PAI teachers to implement cooperative learning models, especially the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type, in order to increase student learning motivation. Through the STAD cooperative learning model, teachers hope to change the class dynamics to be more active and collaborative, so that student learning motivation increases. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach which focuses on analyzing the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model in increasing students' learning motivation in holistic Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. Data collection was carried out through three main techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The process of testing the validity of the data carried out by the author in this research went through stages, namely: Source Triangulation and data triangulation. The research results show that the use of the STAD model significantly increases students' learning motivation in PAI subjects. The motivation that grows from relevant learning methods provides positive encouragement for students to continue to be actively involved in learning. By combining individual-based learning motivation and collective support through the STAD model, the learning process can take place more effectively, creating students who excel academically and have strong character in accordance with religious teachings.
