Abstract

Teaching media serve as one of the tools or methods used in the teaching and learning process. They function not only as aids for teachers in delivering material but also as means to enhance students’ active engagement, accommodate diverse learning styles, and create an enjoyable and interactive learning environment. Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has developed rapidly and is increasingly being applied in the field of education, including in the development of instructional media. The purpose of this activity is to improve teachers’ competence in developing instructional media by utilizing AI technology. The method used was a participatory approach, aimed at enabling partners to be actively involved in every stage of the activity through training sessions and hands-on practice in developing AI-based teaching materials. The program facilitated practical sessions for creating instructional media, along with mentoring and technical guidance to help participants refine and further develop their teaching materials. Teachers’ competence in developing AI-based instructional materials was measured using a Likert scale (1–5) survey administered before and after the training. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ competence, with the percentage of those who “understood” increasing from 40% to 93.33% in the “highly understood” category. This represents a 53.33% increase in teacher competence, indicating that teachers have developed strong skills in utilizing AI-based instructional media and have gained greater awareness of the importance of enhancing their technological competence to improve the quality of learning. Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melakukan digitalisasi terhadap perpustakaan desa di Tondok Bakaru, Kabupaten Mamasa melalui pelatihan digitalisasi kepada pengelola perpustakaan desa untuk meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi di desa Tondok Bakaru. Metode Pelaksanaan pengabdian terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: 1) Tahapan persiapan yang mencakup survei dan analisis kebutuhan, 2) Tahapan Pelaksanaan yang mencakup pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi perpustakaan digital (SLiMS) kepada pengelola perpsutakaan, digitalisasi koleksi buku, 3) Tahapan evaluasi yang mencakup penilaian literasi dan numerasi, dan 4) Tahapan pendampingan mencakup digitalisasi seluruh koleksi buku serta penggunaan system yang berjalan secara berkelanjutan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah digitalisasi perpsutakaan desa mampu meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi anak usia Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Keterbatasan alat laboratorium, khususnya viskometer, menjadi kendala utama dalam pembelajaran materi viskositas di SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung. Akibatnya, peserta didik hanya menerima pembelajaran secara teoretis tanpa adanya pengalaman praktikum yang dapat memperkuat pemahaman konsep. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep viskositas melalui pemanfaatan bahan dapur sebagai media praktikum fisika dalam kegiatan organisasi Mathlish Club.  Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika yang sedang mengikuti program Asistensi Mengajar dengan melibatkan 164 peserta didik dari jenjang SMP (Mathlish Junior) dan SMA (Basic of Mathlish). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, analisis kebutuhan dan desain solusi, persiapan alat dan bahan, pelatihan peserta dan mahasiswa, implementasi praktikum, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan dapur seperti air bening, minyak goreng, dan sabun cuci piring efektif dalam membantu peserta didik memahami perbedaan tingkat viskositas fluida berdasarkan waktu tempuh kelereng. Peserta menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan, kemampuan observasi, keterampilan mengukur, serta kemampuan menganalisis fenomena fisika. Guru fisika dan pengurus Mathlish Club juga memberikan respons positif terhadap kegiatan ini karena dapat dijadikan solusi pembelajaran praktikum berbasis sumber daya sederhana. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil memberikan pengalaman belajar kontekstual dan dapat menjadi model pembelajaran fisika pada kondisi keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium.

Abstract

The development of the GENS (Google Sites Fun Physics) media integrated with artificial intelligence to improve concept understanding aims to develop learning media that meets the criteria of feasibility, namely valid, practical, and effective. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung with the research subjects being class X.6, comprising a sample of 32 students in the first semester of 2025/2026. Based on the analysis results, the Google Sites fun physics learning media is in the very valid category with a percentage of 90.8%, as measured by expert validator assessments. It is also in the very practical category with a cumulative percentage of 89.72%, based on student response assessments of 83.74% and teacher responses of 95.71%. The media is in the effective category with a moderate level and an N-gain value of 0.6. Therefore, it is recommended that physics teachers use the Google Sites Fun Physics learning media integrated with artificial intelligence to improve students' understanding of physics concepts.
