Abstract

ABSTRACT The current technological development is very fast, it requires designers to adapt to these conditions. So that the use of CAD (Computer Aided Design) software is absolutely essential for designers to master. One that is included in the CAD software is Rhinoceros, a computer graphics software that is used to simplify the work and development of 3D modeling. Rhinoceros is widely used by industries such as architecture, industrial product design, multimedia and graphic design. This research is a qualitative research with an art and design approach. This research raises a case study from the work of 3D product modeling designed by product design students to be used as data analysis material. The data analysis process is carried out through literature study, observation and interviews with sources in order to produce an understanding of how to design and develop the initial concept into good 3D modeling. Keywords: Rhinoceros, Design, 3D Design, Product Designers

Abstract

Cognitive development is one of the important aspects related to the stages of a child's ability to acquire interpretation and knowledge based on experience and information obtained. One of ways to stimulate children's cognitive development is through the use of open-ended toys. Open-ended toys are a type of toys that provides space for interpretation and can be used in various ways, thereby triggering children's creativity. The purpose of this research was to analyze the use of open-ended toys in stimulating the cognitive development of children aged 1-3 years old in the pandemic era. The method used in this study is qualitative, namely a descriptive analysis of the function aspect of three kinds open-ended toys. Data obtained through literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. In this research, theory about the stages of children's play development according to Piaget was used. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen open-ended toys in the form of puzzles, building blocks, and animal figurines can stimulate children's cognitive development by increasing children's concentration range, language skills, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills in children aged 1-3 years old in the era of the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Culinary development in Indonesia is very rapid, it makes the proliferation of street food traders in big cities Indonesia one of them is pecel lele. The street food vendors must provide cutlery and drinking because many buyers eat the dishes in place, therefore there will be activities to wash cutlery and drink. These activities require clean water used for washing, generally the traders only bring a supply of clean water to wash only one or two drums it is very less. Moreover, the placement of drums on the floor making it difficult to remove the Clean Water. The water is used repeatedly so it is not efficient and effective. The purpose of this study is to create a design of clean water storage facilities for street vendors that are used during the activity of washing cutlery and drinking. The method used is qualitative to determine the needs of users by way of interviews and direct observation. The results of the design in the form of clean water storage facilities for street vendors with an emphasis on ergonomics aspects, so that users can be safer and more comfortable during activities. The results of this design is expected to be a reference and reference research and design in similar terms.

Abstract

After the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, we have entered the New Normal phase with all adjustments and adaptations to new post-pandemic habits. Throughout 2020 and 2021 cycling has become a trend for a healthy lifestyle that people are interested in. With the rise of people cycling, sales of bicycles and their supporting equipment such as apparel have also increased. Seeing the trend of cycling and commuter bike riders who use bicycles as the main mode of transportation for daily mobilization, this becomes a potential for designing cargo pants for commuter bike riders with a sustainable design approach. Cargo pants are versatile pants that prioritize utility with various compartments that can fit various user items. Exploration of the features and systems in the design product is expected to meet the needs of commuter bike users and provide alternative products to users.

Abstrak : Pekerjaan di bisang industry kreatif pun terus menyebar ke selurus plosokIndonesia. Dalam rangkaian kegiatan dibidang asritektur banyak hal penting yang harusdiperhatikan, salah satunya adalah peran penting arsitek dalam merancang sebuahbangunan. Para arsitek bertanggung jawab untuk membuat gambar teknis yang presisidengan memastikan detail sesuai spesifik proyek.ketersediaan fasilitas kerja yangnyaman dan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas serta keefektifan waktu bekerja. fungsimeja kerja sering kali terlupakan atau belum mendapat perhatian dari perusahan maupunpara pekerja. Dengan itu perancangan meja kerja multifungsi mencakup perancanganergonomis dan pemanfaatan area kerja penyimpanan dokumen,tempat tools dan fungsiadjustable pada top table. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif denganpendekatan studi kasus PT.Budi Lim Architect. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukanmenggunakan observasi dan wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur, Adapunmetode perancangan UCD, yang memastikan bahwa Solusi yang diciptakan benar benarbermanfaat dan mudah digunakan oleh pengguna dan juga membantu mengurangiresiko pembuatan produk yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Abstract

Coconut shell is a by-product of coconut consumption that has several physical properties that vary depending on the age and type of coconut. Currently, the use of coconut shell as a raw material for craft products has not been accepted in the higher market because the production technique is still not well developed due to underdeveloped production techniques and lack of added value design. Development of craft making techniques using laser cutting is needed. The use of laser cutting can be an alternative in material processing because it has accuracy and efficiency in cutting coconut shells, as well as reducing material waste. In this study, the focus is on exploring the characteristics of the material so that it can be easily processed with laser cutting and identifying factors that influence the use of laser cutting technology. The research methods used include literature studies, direct observation, interviews, and exploration so that they can determine the characteristics of the material and efficiency in processing coconut shells. The results of material exploration with laser cutting technology can be used as an alternative in processing coconut shells in the form of decorative products that have high aesthetics and selling value. Abstract

One part of the coconut fruit is coconut fiber which can be processed and broken down to become a product that is needed in the domestic market and even has export value. Coconut fiber also has two derivative products in the form of coconut fiber (Cocofiber) and coconut fiber powder (Cocopeat), of which the two derivative products have not yet been optimally processed to become a new material or support for a furniture product. Because the processing is not optimal, there is still a lot of coconut fiber waste that is thrown away, which can pollute the environment and cause health problems if burned. Therefore, this research was carried out to prevent these problems through exploration using qualitative methods and observation approaches and interviews with experts, as well as using the Exploring method to produce a new material or support for a sustainable and environmentally friendly furniture product (Sustainable). Abstract

Industri periklanan dan pameran memainkan peran penting dalam membanguncitra merek dan menarik perhatian konsumen. Penelitian ini menyoroti peran perusahaanperiklanan dan kontraktor dalam merancang booth pameran yang efektif dan efisien,dengan fokus pada merek Skintific dan PT. Pentaprima Adv. Tujuan utama dari penelitianini adalah untuk menciptakan booth yang efisien, menarik, dan sesuai dengankebutuhanipengguna, dengan perhatian khusus pada pemilihan material untuk desainbooth. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengkaji aspek desainproduk, pameran dan penggunaan booth, serta menggunakan analisis SWOT dan metodeSCAMPER untuk menghasilkan ide-ide kreatif. Tinjauan literatur memberikan wawasantentang berbagai pendekatan desain stan, sementara penelitian kualitatif dan studi kasusmengeksplorasi aspek desain dan penggunaannya, khususnya untuk Skintific. Hasil daripenelitian ini adalah desain booth Trans Hotel Bandung berukuran 6x6 meter untuk acaraBandung X Beauty 2024 yang menampilkan berbagai item danjperlengkapan yang sesuaidengan kebutuhan acara. Abstract

Sofa merupakan perabotan rumah yang umumnya sering digunakan oleh setiap orang ketika sedang menikmati duduk santai atau duduk dengan melakukan aktivitas lain. Setiap desain sofa memiliki target pasarnya masing-masing berdasarkan kebutuhan konsumen. Ars Living adalah perusahaan furnitur Indonesia yang berbasis di Bandung. Perancangan ini menggunakan penelitian dengan metode kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif, dimulai dengan konsep-konsep yang disajikan dalam pertanyaan penelitian. Dalam perancangan produk ini menggunakan metode SCAMPER yaitu proses tujuh langkah (Substitute ) Menggantikan, (Combine) Menggabungkan, (Adapt) Mengadaptasi, (Modify) Memodifikasi, (Put To Other Used) Menggunakan Penggunaan Lain, (Eliminate) Menghilangkan dan (Reverse) Membalikan. Produk Furniture Sofa Bed Renjana, dalam melakukan penelitian, peneliti telah menjawab latar belakang penelitian ini, dan menjawab rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini, melalui perancangan ini peneliti telah menganalisa permasalahan yang ada, dibahas dan dipecahkan bersama penelitian ini sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa penelitian ini berhasil dari tahap analisa jurnal-jurnal terdahulu hingga produk yang dirancang telah rampung dan telah divalidasi dengan memperhatikan beberapa aspek, seperti ergonomi, fungsi, dan kenyamanan si pengguna menggunakan parameter 1 sangat kurang sampai dengan 5 sangat baik, validasi dilakukan di tempat Kosan Bu Rizkie. Kata Kunci : Sofa bed, furniture, kualitatif, dan hunian kos.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merancang kursi kerja ergonomis untuk detailer dalam industri perawatan mobil, guna mendukung postur tubuh yang baik dan meningkatkan kenyamanan. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka, ditemukan bahwa kursi dengan dukungan punggung yang dapat disesuaikan, penyesuaian ketinggian, dan dudukan yang nyaman, mampu meningkatkan kenyamanan dan efisiensi kerja serta mengurangi risiko cedera. Desain ini diharapkan dapat meminimalkan gangguan postur tubuh, meningkatkan kesehatan, dan produktivitas pekerja dalam jangka panjang. Kata kunci: kursi kerja ergonomis, kesehatan postur, kenyamanan pekerja.
