Abstract

Marlina N, Amir N. 2019. Response of hybrid maize (Zea mays L.) to giving mycorrhizal biofertilizer in tidal land. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal 2019, Palembang 4-5 September 2019. pp. 325-329. Palembang: Unsri Press. Growth and production of hybrid maize plants in tidal land can be improved by the provision of mycorrhizal biofertilizer. Mycorrhizal biofertilizer and chicken manure organic fertilizer are very helpful in providing nutrients in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in tidal land which has a low nutrient content. Research on mycorrhizal biofertilizer   has been carried out in the farms of Purwosari village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research objective   was to study  a dose of mycorrhizal biofertilizer   which is suitable for increasing hybrid corn production. The research period was conducted from July to Nopember 2018. This study used a  Group Randomized Design with 3 of treatments and 9 groups. The dose of mycorrhizal biofertilizer is 3, 5 and 7 g/plant. The results showed that hybrid corn plants had a positive response with the giving of 7 g/plant mycorrhizal biofertilizer  which was indicated by the production of 4,70 kg/plot.Keywords: mycorrhizal biofertilizer, hybrid maize and tidal land

Amir N, Palmasari B, Aminah RIS, Paridawati I. 2021. Increased growth and production of several crop varieties zea mays saccharata sturt. by giving vermicompost organic fertilizer In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-9 Tahun 2021, Palembang  20 Oktober 2021. pp. 186-193.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The aim of this study was to determine the varieties and doses of vermicompost organic fertilizer that had the best effect on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.). This research has been carried out on land owned by farmers located in Pasir Putih Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. This research was conducted from September to December 2020. This study used a Split-plot design consisting of 9 treatment combinations and 3 replications. As the main plot treatment, Varieties Type (V): V1 = Bonanza ; V2 = Sweet Boy ; V3 = Sweet Lady and subplot treatment Amount of Vermicompost Organic Fertilizer (K): K1 = 1 ton/ha; K2 = 3 tons/ha ; K3 = 5 tons/ha. Observational variables in this study included: plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), weight of cobs per plant (g) and weight of cobs per plot (kg). The results showed that the tabulation of the combination of Bonanza variety and the dose of organic fertilizer vermicompost 5 tons/ha gave the highest growth and production of sweet corn plants with a production of 2.43 kg/plot (3,24 ton/ha).

Abstract

Mujaroah M, Amir N, Astuti DT, Syafrullah S. 2022. The effectiveness of compound npk fertilizer with guano fertilizer on the growth and production of zucchini (Cucurbita Pepo L.). In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-10 Tahun 2022, Palembang  27 Oktober 2022. pp. 910-921. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Zucchini plants area annual plantas that area similar to pumpkins or eggplants whose fruit is harvested before ripe which belongs to the cucurbitaceae family. The purpose of this study was to determine and determine the effectiveness of Compound NPK Fertilizers and Guano Fertilizers which gave the best response to growth and increased production of zucchini (Cucurbita pepo L.) plants. The research has been carried out in one of the resident’s lands. Location in Perumnas Talang Kelapa Block 3 RT 61 NO. 41 RW 08 Alang-Alang Lebar Subdistrict, Palembang City, Sounth Sumatra in March until  with May 2022. This study used a Split Plot Design with 9 treatment combinations which were repeated 3 times, resulting, in 27 treatment units with 3 sample plants. These are as follows: Main Plot For Compound NPK Fertilizer (N) consisting of 3 levels N1= 150 kg/ha, N2= 200 kg/ha, N3 = 250 kg/ha. Sub-plots for providing Guano Fertilizer (O)= terdin of 3 levels O1= 2,5 tons/ha, O2= 5 tons/ha, O3= 7,5 tons/ha. The variables observed were: plant height (cm), fruit diameter (cm), fruit length (cm), number of fruit per plot (fruit), fruit weight per plot (kg). The results showed that the treatment of compound NPK Fertilizer dosage of 250 kg/ha with Guano Fertilizer at a dose of 5 tons/ha gave the highest yield at fruit weight per plot 3,16 kg/plot or the equivalent of 6,32 tons/ha.
